Notice: Create a disk (Windows 7 Professional) with Symantec Ghost vs CloneZilla image

Just for my curiosity and knowledge, of a material point or prospective software,.

Do you have any recommendation to create a disk for Windows 7 professional image?

In particular, do you have any comment of what software should I use between Symantec Ghost vs CloneZilla?

So thank you and have a wonderful day.

He is a native feature in Windows 7.  Why not use it?  I use it several times and it works great.

http://www.canadiantech.Info/for-techies/clean-install-tip/

After Windows 7 drivers system and all updates are installed and stable applications such as Microsoft Office are installed and updated, create a system image.  It will take 3 or 4 DVD +Rs (non - Rs) and about an hour.  When you are finished, you will have a very nice bit of insurance.  You must again and again re - build a damaged system or replacing a hard drive, you will have a double précis of your system as it was at this time.  You can restore this image on a hard drive in about 20 minutes.  Creating a System Image is in your menu in respect of Maintenance, backup and restore.

Another great feature on the use of the image, it's that you don't have an installation disc or product key to re - install the next time.

I strongly stress the need for MORE than R DVD not the most common MINIUS R.

Start, all programs, Maintenance.

  • Why Windows XP Professional give me error messages 'Bad Image'? With reference to dll32.exe files.

Why Windows XP Professional give me error messages 'Bad Image'?

    With reference to dll32.exe files.
\Windows\system32\MSACM32.dll is not a valid system image. Please check this against your installation diskette.
Other messages relate to the specific 32dll.exe of the application
It seems to me that the msacm32.dll talk of restore point for system restore.
    Thank you

  • Two operating systems; Windows 7 Professional with an option of Windows 10

Two operating systems;  Windows 7 Professional with an option of Windows 10.

As a Neolithic Windows, I'm comfortable with Win 7 like all my old XP applications have continued to work with Win 7.  Now I want to try to get around the current Win 10 operating system through experience to see what Win 10 offers me in every sense of the use practable. I don't want to lose the existing installation of Win7 which works well, I think to a new PC.

I need a route which can accommodate my learning needs.  I'm open to suggestions that might involve touchscreen options to win 10 OS while keeping the mouse driven navigation for Win 7 applications.  Clues on a postcard!

10 dual-boot Windows, you will need to buy retail (it's only free if you use it to replace Windows 7, not to start the long side).

So first, buy an installation Windows 10 CD/USB stick to your favorite tech store and install it as a dual-boot option.

You will find that there is no dichotomy of the 'touch' vs 'mouse' use Windows 10.  You can use the mouse as you do today in Windows 7: there is literally not a single instance of a hidden mouse-gesture-operated menu, you need to know the secret movement to activate (unlike Windows 8, Windows 10 has been designed so that a user of Windows 7 could jump in without any training).

You can reinstall and reactivate on the same machine as many times as you want. You may need to reactivate by phone after the 5th time.

  • I have Windows XP Professional with version 5.1 of windows and told me that I have to upgrade, but I do not understand what I do, can someone help me?

I have a laptop Lenovo who was my daughters. I use it very well, but I can't figure out how to get Outlook Express on it as if I had on my old office. So, I was looking for how to do that I have seen that this version of Windows XP Professional SP3 won't be supported by Microsoft and should be updated but I do not understand what it is or what I need to do. It says I need to download the risk mitigation: Why stick with XP is a bad idea, but I'm afraid that download because I don't know what this means.  Can someone please help me understand what I need to do so that I can use this computer to keep in touch with my daughter and son through Outlook Express electronic mail?

You don't need to upgrade. XP SP3 will be supported until April 2014. After that, there will be no more patches or updates, but work remains. There are still a lot of Win98 users out there.

  • Satellite Pro L100: Ghost with Symantec Ghost Suite 1.0

    Hi all
Brought 50 pro L100 hope to able to only one of them put in place then Ghost in the image of the other.

I can't do the ghost to work at all, the startup disk binds to the Nic no problem, but when it starts to load the dos based console just ghost, it freezes and goes no further.
have you tried the switch - NIF, 3Com bootservices, different versions of MS-DOS and PC Dos, am pretty puzzled at why it does not work.
Got 15 Pro of the A20 and had no problem, ghosts, strange, is there something I missed?

    Thank you
    Jay

I had exactly the same problem not so long ago. I managed to go to the bottom of it after much, much frustration!
The L100 uses the SATA standard, Ghost does not all SATA drives and needs a little help to know where is the drive and how it works. So, when you start the ghost you need to run GHOST. EXE - NOIDE

This work definitely will, you owe me big time!

I have a Dell Latitude E4310 running Vista professional 7.

It worked fine with no problem except when I turned it on this morning.

He went through his normal boot sequence (Logo Microsoft...) and then instead going to my office for display, the screen stayed black with only my visible mouse cursor.

I can boot into safe mode and my desktop is visible.  I don't know what to do at this point and would be grateful to anyone who helps.  Thanks in advance!

  • If I use Windows 7 Professional with the English edition, it would be possible for me to run games that are in Chinese (which means read Chinese characters correctly)?

I noticed her Ultimate version has the language program 35 or more. However, I highly doubt my computer having the power to enforce that. I have to use something like Microsoft Applocale in order to be able to play games then?

    pchau,
I think that your game should work normally and if it is written in Chinese as the display language then it should work.  Best thing to do is to create a restore point and then install the game and try it.  Let us know what happens.

  • Lost windows xp professional with service Pack 3 cd and my computer is missing componets told me I have to re install cd but can't find what I can do

I've lost my windows xp cd and it must be reinstalled I can do

Are you sure you've lost this CD? Maybe you had one. It is certainly the case with many PC manufacturers, which rather than provide a restore hidden on the hard disk partition.

What is the brand and model of your PC?

FWIW, it is in fact rarely necessary to reinstall Windows. What are your specific issues? Components that are missing? And why?

A faster and easier solution may very well be available!
