  We try to change / less the size of the property held by the pool for blades UCS KVM management.

  Some IP addresses are assigned to the existing blades, pourrais I delete existing IP pools directly and create the new compact block for managing KVM?

  No harmful impact other than to lose access MMIC for awhile (kvm, virtual media, IPMI etc.).  Blade will not restart you.  It's strictly a connection out-of-band management.

  Create your new pool, then zap your old.  The blades will be immediately wish through the other pool for an available IP address.

  There is not just a simple DVD I can load into the server and run all the firmware updates?

  Cisco does it provide?

  I tried to look through the site and hoped that I didn't have to enumerate all parts of my servers and have to find updates for them individually.

• How to create a USB key with HUU for UCS

  Hello

  I have 4 UCS C220M3 requiring updates and I downloaded HUU2.0.3d - 1 for that in the ISO file

  I really want to use a USB key to start the UCS of the box before I shipthem - so there is no network can - just out of the box, boot on USB via F6 and go!

  I am Macedonia this before on code 1.5, but now with 2.0 I had all kinds of funny mistake, and I think its related to the way in which I create the USB

  So what is the best way to create a USB bootable from this Cisco's ISO image?

  I tried 3 kinds of 'decision-makers', but none can boot up and load the HUU.

  Later, I tried going to start and begin to HUU, but then just fails when loading the firmware and tools

• NO DRIVERS FOR UCS BLADE B200 M4 (missing ethernet controller) with W2012R2.

  We have installed windows 2012 R2 x 64 picture in a B200 M4 (2.2.7b) blade. We have installed all the drivers of Cisco web page, but that one THAT CISCO VIC ETHERNET INTERFACE (20gbps) pilot was found. The other Ethernet controller was not found in the .iso image file (UCS-bxxx-pilots - windows.2.2.7.iso).

  Can someone help us with these drivers?

  All ethernet interfaces, which represent the vNIC you created in your service profile, will use a single driver.  Make sure that you have installed the chipset drivers intel \ucs-bxxx-drivers-windows.2.2.7.iso\ChipSet\Intel\B200M4\W2K12R2\ and then confirm you need to install the driver of vic.  When the driver chipset and vic are installed, your ethernet interfaces must map all just as network several adapters of VIC.

  Additionally, make sure that you have not created vNIC dynamic (which may appear as follows in the Device Manager) in your service profile, unless you create for your VM - Fex NIC hyperV environment.  For VM-Fex/dynamic vNIC, there is a specific process to create these, so the Windows hyperV host does not see in Device Manager and is only visible in hyperV guestVMs.

I have already installed virtual Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7. Now, I am looking for help on how to configure them to see each other, use NAT, bridge or what type of connection? And, is it necessary to set the IP address manually for virtual machines? If necessary, how should I do?

  Hello Christopher,

  You can use optimization OS tool on the computer that you are trying to capture the Appstack but it wouldn't be very useful because this is your starting point to capture Appstacks and I do not think that you would use the basic machine for any other purpose outside the Capture.

  If you want to use this tool on the Horizon view parent then Yes you can go ahead and use that there is no conflicts for this. The optimization tool would just disable some services in order to stimulate performance by using a Script if you want to know what services are disabled.   Hi all

  I sat for my review of VDCA510 on September 12, 2013 , but the laboratory has hung up on me. Finally after that my test center admin spoke to pearsonvue, they canceled the review. I contacted vmware and they informed me that pearsonvue reschedules so my review. I had to calll pearsonvue United States, Dubai and the United Kingdom to inquire about my rescheduling. Finall exam was cancelled, the money has been repaid and I paid to see the review. The only available for examination date was 8 Oct 213.

  Today I went for my review of VDCA510. He started and I responded to the survey. After investigation, the error came on the screen saying that the test is invalid. Yet once we called pearsonvue which took away from the pc and taken up the review. Once again after that investigation was completed, same error here. Pearsonvue talk to vmware and VMware representative informed that VMware has cancelled the VCAP5 DCA (VDCA510) review for all candidates. All candidates who had their scheduled VCAP review reported on this subject by e-mail. However I have never had such an email. VMware has informed that this review will be available soon and candidates would be notified to postpone their consideration. However the applicant must record an incident with pearsonvue.

  I was wondering - is it true? Does anyone have this email that the examination had been postponed for all candidates? I'm afraid I never got that email and I'll never e-mail confirming when the review will be available. This time still I couldn't finish the review and its really hard to wait and prepare then again.

  Is anyone from VMware can confirm if this is true, and why the review has been postponed, please? The new review will rely on the same plane or VMware plans to change it?

  No, it's typical for the VMS version 6 of virtual and higher material.  Freezes most is either peripheral applications of diskette/CD-ROM or disk writes logging/debugging.

  Excuse me if I'm in the wrong section of the forum.

  I just downloaded the version track "VMware Workstation v6. My goal is to create a network of multiple servers to windows server 2003 (DNS, HTPC, FILE SERVER and so on) and few customers to study the MCSE 2003 server.

  VMware server 2.0 is great for this purpose and totally free, but its only Web based management and deployment.  You would have more flexible with the lab so you can pay for VMware Workstation 6.5 and there function clone, consolidation and networking of capabilities, you can manage with different network segments.  If you do lab with lots of the same operating system installed, using the linked clone mode would be beneficial saves you disk space.  I studied a lot of MCITP and other laboratories with VMware Workstation 6.5 and found its very good and convenience.  Just make sure you have enough memory for the purpose, otherwise you will experience some slow especially learn Windows 2008 MCITP.  There is also a free hypervisor such as MS Virtual PC, Hyper-V, Xen Enterprise, ESX 4i free edition but requires special hardware to run it. I wouldn't recommend it so just study for the laboratories of Ms.

• How to get vmware for Netware tools.

  I'm trying to virtualize a number of Netware 5.1 servers - I guess that the vmware tools (netware.iso, apparently) would be on the install ESX but media I can't find this file anywhere, not I can locate a downloadable instance on this web site (or elsewhere).

  Is anyone able to point me in the direction of download just for Netware tools?
