ns83b3. Temp

Hello can someone tell me what is this file? I found in my Kaspersky firewall and do not know how it got there.

Hello

Method 1: I suggest you to run Disk Cleanup and see if that helps.

Delete files using disk cleanup

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows7/delete-files-using-disk-cleanup

Note: Disk Cleanup removes temporary files, empty the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of system files and other items you no longer need.

Method 2: I also suggest to run virus scan online by using the Microsoft safety scanner.

Note:
when you perform online virus scanyou will lose some data which are affected by the virus. Microsoft is not responsible for the loss of this data.

  • create an exception in avast for the nsemail.html file in the temp folder

I was pulling out my hair trying to find if there could be anything in the temporary files that I have to keep the last few weeks. Then I came across this: "the release of Avast 10.3.2223 (we think it's this version) has resulted in questions with avasts prevention of Thunderbird.
to function properly. The solution seems to be to create an exception in avast for the nsemail.html file in your
computers temp folder. "So now I'm completely confused. Why would I put something I need all the time in a temporary file to have remove for cleaning ccleaner?

Matt, thanks. I read your blog post. I need to replace my HD and I've been fretting over if I have to loose important data from the temporary files. Apparently not. When I talked about ccleaner, it was in the generic sense. I avoided ccleaner because I thought it was a big hammer and some data that he brags about getting rid of I really want to continue. I know that I can choose what remains and what is happening, I'll have to give him another look. Once again thank you.

  • Error file not found in Temp. Firefox does not start

When I try to start Firefox (Windows 8.1 desktop computer) I get a full white screen with only the following error message:

    File not found
Firefox can't find the file at / c; /Users/ username/AppData/Local/Temp/name of file (more than fifty characters long, all the numbers and letters without anything that looks like a real word and ends in /BGAW05 .htm).

It of only a button to Try Again that never works and some directions to verify the name of the error file, or check if the file has been moved, renamed or deleted. I check to see if the file is no where on C: and it doesn't. It is there no file in Temp even remotely close to that name. I run Firefox with several tabs that are registered and come back when I restart Firefox. So maybe this file in Temp was associated with a deleted tab.

As I said, this error message comes up full screen, covering the taskbar and not reduce it, restore, close buttons, as if I was running in mode Metro, I never do and will never do.

Because of this error I can not even start Firefox now, so I had to become a user of Internet Explorer.

How can I get Firefox to stop looking for this file?

Any help on this will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I found a solution to my problem. Looking in my info on solving computer problems, I noticed that some problems can be resolved by the administrator. I tried with Firefox and it worked. The only damage was that I lost the current tabs. But Firefox seems to work fine otherwise.

If you are running both Windows Defender and Kaspersky at the same time, get rid of one. Two analyzers antivirus running at the same time will eventually cause problems.
And don't let not your antivirus software analyzes the Thunderbird profile folder. Do not scan incoming and outgoing messages. Don't let it scan attachments to emails.

  • Mozilla Temp files - etilqs_G1kM7euBO3jmksu

    Hello

Once I open Mozilla Firefox, get some (etilqs_G1kM7euBO3jmksu) files in the temp folder in my system, and am not able to delete the file, but if I close Firefox it will disappear automatically.

I have uninstall and install the new version of Firefox, even I format my system. But still, I do the same

Hey Dinu.D, I think that I don't understand what you're trying to achieve here again. According to the temporary files in the folder are needed to function properly as long as the browser is open (the etilqs files are on the sqlite databases that firefox uses to store different data as your bookmarks). the files in the folder are deleted when you close firefox, or if the application is idle for a certain period of time - so there should be no need for manual intervention, because the files are purged anyway as soon as they became unnecessary...

  • Thunderbird is download Trojan horses to \AppData\Local\Temp\nsmail.tmp?

I use Thunderbird on Win 8.1, 64 bit, Windows Defender and EMET. When I'm mischievous looking for emails (some with attachments) I do not open, but transmit to us - cert.gov and UCE.GOV reports e-mail addresses. I am emails in the mode display only text. I run a virus scan afterwards and detection has been coming for Trojan horses in container file C:\Users\ < username > \AppData\Local\Temp\nsmail.tmp, usually with a .scr extension file (as shown in the output of information Defender). An infected file is downloaded on my computer for the operations of Thunderbird? Is - this benign file until the opening? I was under the impression that it's just passed the folder from the server. Can anyone tell/explain about this? Thank you in advance!

SCR files are Windows screensavers. Them are executable files and run and are processed by Windows exactly one. EXE file.

The only risk they represent for you is if you actually run the attachment (Thunderbird cannot do it alone)

The location of the file is where emails are assembled in an e-mail to be sent. The same location and name is used for each mail.

There is no point sending such things for the U.S. Government or anyone else, unless they specifically ask for it. I'm sure you've heard of made massive data capture the NSA. They probably already have your email address, but more to the point, Government and business of cyber security as symantec, kaspersky labs, eset and the folk music of more black hat is all skimming data flowing around the internet. This is how they seem to be able to issue a definition of virus before getting a sample.

  • What is the Temp etilqs xKTXRBvWnu6 file?

Everytime I open my browser Firefox Win Patrol reports a hidden file. I use XP Pro with SP2, and they are always under C:\Documents and owner Settings\Temp. These files always have etilqs as a prefix with the last group of numbers and letters of Exchange to the next time I open Firefox. It's more embarrassing, it's more boring near harassment, having to respond to the report of WinPatrol. There is no way to ignore it in Win Patrol settings so I have to uninstall Win Patrol or Firefox. Do you know what are these hidden temporary files and how can I stop being a constant nuisance whenever I try to use Firefox? Thanks for any help you can give me.

WinPatrol is tenacious tell you these because that you have enabled the cookies of the monitor, which is not recommended.

For instance, you may see many files that start as etilqs_ followed by random names. These are database files used by the public domain database called SQLite. Both Chrome and FireFox use SQLite to store data including cookies. Another common hidden legitimate file will start with api-ms-win- or ext-ms-win.

You may need to temporarily disable your security software (antivirus).

  • Adobe Flash Player records a large number of empty files "fap" in my Firefox and Temp files. How can I avoid this?

Whenever I go to pages where the Adobe Flash Player "plugin - container.exe" flows "FlashPlayerPlugin_xx_x_xxx_xx.exe" (where x is the version number), it causes hundreds of empty folders "fap" save in my Firefox and C:\Windows\Temp folder. How can I avoid this?

    Thank you!

    BINGO!

The link 'Mode protected Flash' was exactly what I was looking for.

Check your task manager and see if you have two instances of Flash Player Plugin running. If you do, go to your Flash C:\windows\system32\macromed folder. In Win Vista or 7, 64-bit OS, it should be here:

    C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

Open the file mms.cfg with Notepad and add this line:

    ProtectedMode = 0

Save the file, and the problem is solved. You should not see two instances of Flash Player, and you will not get the files "fap" more.

    Thank you very much!

  • Can I prevent auto download of temp files?

What I would like is for downloads to start after I have decide where they will go. I don't want a part temp file built in a folder mobile or whatever. I use windows and this seems to be a problem in all versions. Basically, I would come back where my download will be saved and then for firefox start download file room and all. At the very least, I want to foreshadow where the temporary file is stored for security reasons, but would be better to send it to a place of my choice every time.

  • Why firefox saves to the temp dir even if I put to download dir

I even tried to turn suggests saving dir when recording, but firefox saves directly to the temp dir c file always...

It is possible that your antivirus software is the origin of the problems in Firefox prevents to move the file in the temp folder in the destination folder.

Try disabling analysis in real time (live) files in your software anti-virus temporarily to see if that makes working download.

See "Antivirus disable in Firefox preferences - Windows."
