NULL Refrence nipalsm.exe bluescreen nipalk.sys

I have loaded NIDaq 8.7.2 on a portable computer that runs XPF (it is XP, XPE version).  When the system goes to stop/restart first error message appears on the instructin nipalsm.exe referenced memory 0x7c350440 0 x 0000000 (error null refrence) and the entire operating system completely freezes.  After I press and hold the power button, restart the computer and then I get the blue screen of death saying he had a fatal error in nipalk.sys.  I hold the power button down / restart the computer, and it starts fine. (well until I need to shut it down again).

Can someone please help me with what is happening here...

Hey Matt,

I have a few questions for you that should help us solve this other:

1. what (if any) hardware is installed on this machine?

2. This error and blue screen happens every time that you try to shut down the computer?

3. what exactly do you mean when you say that the laptop is running XP Embedded but it's the build of XP Embedded XP?

4. is there a particular reason, why you use 8.7.2 place 8.7.1 on your system? XPF to the catalogue is only supported by DAQmx 8.7.1. Here is a link where you can download this driver: http://joule.ni.com/nidu/cds/fn/p/sn/n19:Windows.WinEmbedded (there is also a detailed document included on the download page that details how to integrate the components in an image)

  • nipalk.sys, causing the BSOD 000000c 4 Win7 64 bit stop

I am running Win 7 64 bit and installed "Windows Software Development Kit (SDK) for Windows 8 consumer Preview" today.

Now, I get the BSOD Stop 0x000000C4 on each time you start nipalk.sys error

The only work-around, I could come up with is to rename the driver in nipalk.bak, obvisously I can no longer use it in this case so it's not a solution.

There's a PAL 2.6.5 update on ni.com site, but this does not solve the problem for me.

nipalk.sys is the 2.1541.3.0 version of the 14/02/2011.

I would be grateful all the solutions.

    Hi grcutter,

This assertion of specific Verifier, STOP 0xC4 in nipalk.sys with P1 = 0xF6, was reported to R & D such as CAR #185772. It will be corrected in a future version of NOR-PAL, which should be delivered with a future version of any drivers OR you use. Until then, the solution is to disable the "Security controls" setting in the driver verifier.

    Hello

I suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft security on your computer Scanner and check if it helps:

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • How to install the vcdrom.exe and the sys file.

I installed vcdrom.exe and copied vcdrom.sys to windows/system32/drivers as indicated, but when I try to select vcdrom.sys list drivers install this is not yet visible. but when I go to the site ouside the program I think it's no problem, I tried to run the program as administrator, I tried to adjust the file sys in total control, and it makes no difference. What should I do?

There is actually an updated version that is supposed to work with Win7

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=38780

Right click on the file vcdcontrolTool.exe and choose run as administrator removes the "could not open SCM: access denied" message, but VCdRom.sys is still not visible in % windir%\system32.

Apparently, it is simply not compatible with x 64 versions... even if you run it high and try to load the copy of the driver on the left file in the subdirectory to decompress (which is no problem), the message 'the driver has been blocked from loading.' results. Maybe some MVP re / writing he forgotten kernel mode code signing or will not pay the annual dues ($ 400?) to MS for the signature of x 64 drivers.

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and start safe mode.  Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan mode without failure.  To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode.  Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem.  To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore.  Click on the box that says show more restore points.
    -
You can check the corrupted system files.  Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE, then click on run as administrator. Then from the command prompt, type sfc/scannow.
    -
Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log.  To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools.  Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and it puts regular periodic updates.

I get a lot of crashes BSOD recently, through many different programs, apparently at random. BlueScreenView told me it's on ntoskrnl.exe / wdf01000.sys almost every time, but googleing it does not give me an answer. Can anyone help me with any idea what these are, or correct?

  • BlueScreen ndis.sys DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

    I got this blue screen.

    Can anyone help solve this?

    Thank you

    The two errors reported.

One was the DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1) caused by the NDIS.sys, which is a file system, and the other was an IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a) caused by the w22n51.sys.

W22n51.sys is the driver for the Intel wireless and is dated January 14, 2004, which may be a "buggy" version

The w22n51.sys is probably causing both of these accidents.

I would say for updating the Intel wireless, which may be a 2200BG, from the following link:

    http://support.Dell.com/support/downloads/DriversList.aspx?c=US&l=en&s=GEN&ServiceTag=&SystemID=LAT_PNT_PM_D505&OS=WW1&OSL=en&CATID=&impid=

Uninstall the old driver before you install the new driver.

  • KB971737 bluescreen ks.sys

Hi when I install KB971737 with windows Update I get a blue screen on the ks.sys file.

After you use system restore his party again

    I use basic family vista64.

    Thank you

The error that you are experiencing is the same as in the following thread:

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_vista-system/BSOD-before-login-Stop-0x0000003B/52a90518-BB08-45f4-B22b-681934e9a1a3#last

The problematic driver seems to be the AtihdLH6.sys and the version of this driver seems to be the same as in the other thread.

So, you can try a different driver.

  • Windows Driver power state failure ntoskrnl.exe bluescreen pro 8.1

    Hello!

In recent weeks, I have a problem with my computer laptop vaio. At random times, I get a blue screen. The last 3 dmp files are here http://1drv.ms/1rVI4al.

I run SFC/scannow, but he found no violations of integrity

    Thanks for the help!

    Hello

All attached files of the DMP are the bug check DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE (9f) .

This bug check indicates that the driver is in an inconsistent or invalid power state.

If we run one! Check irp on the 4th parameter of the bug, we get the following:

  • Impossible creatures causes bluescreen tbirdhd.sys

The situation is all over google, I can't find anything on this site. with: driver irql not less or equal oxooooood1 oxffffffff stop 0 x 02000000 makes it appear that XP sp2 has put an end to the use of the sound card as the mfgr has not published a new pilot/wdm? Best thought I could find was to expand the pagefile.

I hear what you're saying.  But a new sound card can also be an investment.  When he decided to upgrade to a new computer, he can renounce to the purchase of the sound card and take the one he bought and install it in the new machine.

In any case, you can get the very basic Sound Blaster cards for $20 these days.  So it's not like you are breaking the Bank.  You could even go to a computer store and buy a cheaper, since older cards are always around boxes, etc..
