Number of lines displayed per page in an interactive report

Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to change the values of the selection list called "Rows" in an interactive report (which is displayed in the search bar).
Indeed, I want to display 16 lines per page, and I can only choose from the values 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 50, 100, 200...
Thank you for your response.

Emilie.

Hi Emily,.

Go to: Home > Application Builder > application 301 > Page 51 > report interactive attributes > Search Bar > lines per Page selector

Remove the check mark and the line selector disappears.

Greetings,

Tobias

  • BI Publisher - how to display the number of lines displayed at the bottom of the table on each page

    Hello

We are the conversion reports Actuate BEEP and not able to understand how to view "Accum.Total = < n >" at the bottom of each page. In the attached report to operate it, "Accum.Total = < n >" must be displayed at the bottom of each page where < n > is the number of lines displayed on the current page and previous page.

For example, if there are 10 rows in the result set, if the 1st page displays 4 rows, 2nd page displays 3 rows and 3rd page is 3 lines and then Accum.Total = 4 on page 1, Accum.Total = 7 on page 2 and Accum.Total = 10 on page 3.

Note that we use the property table "allow the lines to break Pages = False" as we do not want a specific line can be split across pages.

  • How to set the number of lines displayed in a classic report when running?

    Hello

Our client has several hardware configuration standard customer and want to allow end-users to choose their 'view profile' at the time of the connection. This "display profile" would contain some predefined values for these configurations material and supposed to give various parameters that must set the number of lines displayed in a classic regional report.

I tried to provide parameters on the report of the region, but he has refused to accept anything other than numeric values. Is it possible to do?

    Best regards, Tamas

The link is about the closest correlate in the documentation to the description of the attribute Number of Rows (point) .

Looks like you tried to write - in vain - a name string or change of item in the attribute Number of Rows . The attribute Number of Rows (point) is the one that can actually do. For a list of items in the application, click the icon of the flashlight next to her.

  • I need to number the lines of my page document for the presentation of the journal. Help, please!

I need to number the lines of a document to be submitted to a journal. I can make a section in the document, but I can't find a command, and then add the line numbers.

    Hi Misha,.

3 pages includes number of words to display as a menu item in the view menu:

The County appears at the bottom left of the page and it shows more options when you click on it. Unfortunately, "number of lines" is not included in the available options:

If you had ' 09 Pages on your Mac and did not intentionally removed it when you installed 5 Pages, it will always be there, in a folder named iWork ' 09, in your Applications folder.

Copy your document, open the Pages ' 09 and paste the contents of your document into a word processor new document in Pages ' 09.

Check that the end of the document is delivered on the same page (number) and to the same position on this page as in the original and making small changes at the margin to adjust it if necessary.

Then go to edit > tools > statistics to see this more comprehensive report:

Note that if you need to present the newspaper article in one format other than a file of Pages, the number of rows may change due to changes in the conversion to the new format of formatting.

If you don't have a Pages ' 09, you can get a number of lines using tools > line numbers in OpenOffice or LibreOfficeApache. Both are applications open source, free to download and use (even if you might donate help the future evolution of the demand). The links will take you to their respective Web sites.

Oh... One more thing (as long as Steve jobs used to say sometimes): pages (3), go (menu) Pages > provide pages of comments and make a feature request so that the line count (and line numbering) added the capability of 3 Pages.

  • Change the number of lines displayed in a report

    Hi guys,.

I have a query that will return 3 rows, so I set the number of lines on the screen of the report attributes for 3 and everything was fine.

I then changed the query to return 4 lines and also changed this attribute to 4, but the report stubbornly refuses to display 4 - only 3 old.

Is there something I missed here?

    See you soon

  • How to get the total number of lines workbook Table Page-Details

    Hi all

I built a workbook Page-detail Table. In addition, my section of the page is 'user of assets '. Then, when I click the users button, it shows me, credit notes different from the user that I was selected. The problem is that I want to show a percentage by user.

    For example:
    -------------------

The query returns me assets 40 for all users.

But for example I click the first user who has only 10 credit notes.

I want to show at the end of the page: "this user is:" 25% (because I calculate 10 * 100/40). "."

How can I do this? Because I found that I can show the number of lines that are in the screen, but not the total of the lines referring to my request.

I use Oracle Desktop, but I have no problem using Oracle Discoverer Plus.

    I really appreciate your help.

    Best regards!
    Mariano. -.

You can do it directly in the front as you wish but you can manipulate the spreadsheet to do something like.
By creating a calculation that will contain the data you need you can then present in the page point right next to the user name.
If you change the user in the page element, it will present the % that you wanted.

do that create a new calculation, called "is the percentage of this user:
    To_char (COUNT (credit memos) OVER (PARTITION BY User) * 100/COUNT(credit memos) OVER (), '990D99'). « % »

Place the calculation in the page element.

There is a small restriction since if you just change the user it will work fine, but if you pick the design value, then you will get a mess.

Beside that, you can use the 'text area' of the discoverer and put for example here: (exactly the name of the calc) "& is the percentage of this user.

Well, it's not perfect, but maybe it can be used...

  • How can I force a line break to show in an interactive report

    Hello

    I use Apex 4.2 and Oracle 11.g

I have a column called 'Transaction Details' that I display in an interactive report.  The report text display column selection As a value "Standard report column.

The report column is selected in a table varchar2 column called transaction_detail.  I build just the table as well.  The transaction_detail of the table column is filled with a procedure with the following code:

    Insert into mail_log (transaction_type, transaction_detail)

    Values ('operation FTP',

    ' Filename =' | ' p_image_filename |

    "& lt; BR / & gt;' | "Description of the event =' | ' l_event_description);

The code of procedure can be easily changed.

The report does is display: Filename = myfile.jpg < br / > the event Description = description

I tried to use Chr (13) in the procedure instead of the html characters and then tried to replace the Chr (13) in the apex with html characters.  Instead of simply select the column:

    transaction_detail

    I tried:

    , REPLACE (transaction_detail, Chr (13), "& lt;") BR / & gt ;')

    but I couldn't get past an Apex error: ORA-12899: value too large for column 'APEX_040200 '. "" "" WWV_FLOW_WORKSHEET_COLUMNS '. "" DB_COLUMN_NAME' (size: 49, maximum: 30)

If Apex shouldn't be able to interpret the < br / > like a new line if the column is a column of report Standard?

    Thanks for looking at this.

This is therefore a simple approach, I used in the past and can work for you.  Switch to the Chr (13) and in the IR columns use the HTML Expression like this:

    #COLUMN_NAME#

No need to change the column to column Standard report either.

The police by default for the content in the

la balise est monospaced, mais si vous n’aimez pas que, il peut être changé.  Le pre respecte également les espaces présents dans vos données.

  • Request Express 5.0.0.00.31/Tabular form/number of lines

    Hello

I would like to ask how to configure the number of lines displayed per page.

I did the below and also I tried to re-charge/reload, but impossible to get what I want.

    Implement a tabular form

Set the presentation attributes of the State and the paging number of rows 50

Registered and run this page, it shows still 15 ranks in this page.

A I missed something? Or as a table don't allow no more than 15 lines be shown on 1 page?

    Thank you.

    Hello

Pagination settings are cached for the duration of the session. This change is visible immediately, close the session, restart the brower and connect again or manually re - request the page from the browser's address bar, adding the ClearCache position 'RP' in the URL.

Do not set anything in number of lines (point). This is used to identify an element of the page containing the number of lines to allow users to control this

(Note: If you think it answers your question, please mark it as correct answer.) This will help other users in the community)

  • By default the lines per Page in interactive report

I've created a simple interactive report. I also deleted for the end user to modify the "lines per page' in the interactive report. How can I change this report (as a developer) to display only the 10 lines per page. I've been looking around but can't see where to change this setting.

First enable end user can define lines per page. (that you have disabled)

Save the default report in the action menu.

  • Display the number of lines based on a line selector

    Hello

We have a form on an sql query. We are currently showing 100 lines per page. We would like to have a line selector, so the number of lines displayed on the page depends on the value selected in the line selector. I'm not sure how this is possible.

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

It is relatively easy to set up - see: [http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=267:111]

There are 4 steps to create this feature:

    1. create a "select list with Submit" on your page called, say, P111_ROWS. The source of the list value:

    STATIC2:10;10,20;20,50;50,100;100,200;200,500;500,1000;1000,All;1000000

(Of course, you can change these values according to your needs)

Display Set Null and display additional values to no.

2 create a calculation on your page that defines the new element value static assignment of, say, 10. This calculation should depend on the element is null (this simply sets a default initial value)

    3. create a branch of page that links to the same page and check the option reset Pagination

    4. on attributes of the region of your report, enter the name of your new item in the parameter 'Number of lines (element)' - I also clear the value in the parameter 'Number of Rows.

    This should be it!
