  I sent my phone in for repairs recently and received a new one. Of course, the new phone has a different serial number and I want to sell it. How can I get confirmation that the iPhone I received instead of the iPhone, I sent is what I got? The buyer expects me to have a confirmation from Apple that says I sent them a phone with serial number 'X' and they sent me a serial number "Y". I have no way to confirm this, it is very urgent.

  IIR, you got it in the mail, it should have a packing slip that accompanies it with serial number for information.  who can be paired the phone room in settings/general/about.  Should not your old phone number because it is no longer relevant. Warranty info can be obtained with the new serial number

  I've set up my 8360 curve but I can not set the number of rings of real phone I can for other filers. I saw the message in the Blackberry manual which said that it could be controlled by the provider - in this case Vodafone. I got in touch with them, but they say that they have no control over that. They can provide me with a code to extend the time before it goes to voicemail, but it does not affect the number of rings.

  I can change the volume and I have control on the vibration and the LED but I can't change the number of rings of 1. Can it be changed and, if so, how?

  You can try dialing abbreviated number below. This is supported by the majority of GSM operators.

  • to set the number of rings: * 61 * YourVoiceMailNumber * N # send/Yes button
  • to cancel the setting: # 61 # then press send/Yes

  If your mobile phone voicemail number, for example: + 12-34-567-890-1234 , and you want your phone to divert to voicemail after say 20 seconds, and then type: * 61 *+ 12345678901234* # 20

  1. turn highlight the entry in the address book.

  2. click on the menu next to the scroll wheel button.

  3. Select Edit.

  4. Once inside the entrance, press the scroll wheel and select Add Custom phone Tune.

  5. find desired tune and save.

  When I changed my job, I got a new cell phone number.

  I disconnected all my devices and removed my old number of my Apple ID, after that, I added my new number to my Apple ID and connected to my devices (iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air).

  The thing is that the person who had my new phone number previously, had the same phone number, added to their Apple ID.

  I get time iMessage and FaceTime applications contact the previous owner of my phone number.

  Even if it's annoying that I don't really like, I just block the numbers I don't recognize.

  But my big question is, if my friends iMessage and FaceTime applications for my new phone number can be found at the i-devices previous holders?

  I hope it's understandable - because it feels like a security risk.

  The new Page of Apple ID is no longer you allows you to edit a "reachable to the ' phone number.  The 'x' icon does not exist to be reached at the phone number.

  The phone number listed on my apple ID is incorrect and a phone from 2 years ago.

  I checked the number shows correctly on my IOS devices, all my OS X devices (iTunes account etc.) and the imessages and factetime.  I logged on all accounts on all devices (including the facetime and imessages) and reconnected but - Boulard... phone number of apple is ALWAYS incorrect and immutable to appleid.apple.com.  The phone number correctly absolutely everywhere else - shows info billiong, itunes, etc.

  I logged a request for assistance to the Apple and the technical support told me that she is seeing the same thing - so - there is a bug any on the new web page Apple ID.

After obtaining your response, I called Sprint and spoke with a person of advanced technical support. He played the reconfiguration of network and I now have my real phone number back on the phone.
