• Failure to write a Windows Media file

  Help, I use a Gateway computer and operating system Windows XP Professional version 2002 Service Pack 3. It has Intel Core CPU 6600 @ 2.40 GHz, 2.41 GHz, 2.00 GB of RAM. I have the two Premiere Pro CS3 and CS4 installed. There are 54.1 GB of free space on my hard drive with 94.9 GB used.

  I used to create files without problem with the CS3 version .wmv but with CS4 there is a failure every time. Project exports to Media Encoder and encoder runs through the whole process and even, looks like it ends up. But once it gets to the end, here is the message I get.

  Windows delayed write failed

  Windows could not save all the data (my file) on the data was lost. This error can be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save the file elsewhere.

  I tried to change any variables that I could in the Media Encoder for creating a Windows Media file. For example, you can choose several presets: "Source NTSC to download high quality" "Source NTSC 1024 Kbps of download" and many others. I tried not to change anything on the filters, public, video, Audio or other tabs. I've never had to with the CS3 version. In addition, I don't know much about the Audio or video Codec.

  As the request wrong, you have any external HARD drive of in the mix, especially USB 2.0 external?

  This lack of write delayed is common, when a program high-performance push more data, that the USB 2.0 connection can handle.

  reproducing can´t audio track on videos recorded in AVCHD format. The computer has windows 7 starter edition and windows media 12. We see only the video tracks.

  The same file (AVCHD format) have been reproduced without any problem, halfway another portable computer with the same version of Windows Media and Windows 7 Professional (12).

  Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

  I understand from the information you have provided to us, you can't play as AVCHD file format in Windows 7.

  It seems that the AVCHD file format is not supported by Windows media player.

  You can determine which codec was used with a specific file; read the file in the player, if possible. When the file is playing, right-click the file in the library, and then click Properties. On the file tab, look at the Audio codec and Video codec sections.

  Then you can uninstall any installed codec and install that you need to do the job file.

  If you have several codec for the single file to work they can clash and cause problems.

  I have a simple app for users to store files (upload a blob file type). With. WAV files, it works beautifully. Users can download the audio file and read as a type mime through Windows Media Player.
  
  However, digital audio recorders users use to store the file as a. WMA. This file is downloaded correctly. It is identified as a "audio/x-ms-wma", file name 'WS400113. WMA. But when I try to download it, I get an error of unknown file type (Find/save). If I save it and then open it with Media Player, it opens and reads correctly (so I don't know that it has been downloaded correctly). If I try to find the service for it, I get an error "application/octet-stream unknown".
  
  Then... Has anyone successfully downloaded a WMA file type (and it played back) in the APEX?
  
  If I run it in FireFox, it is handled a bit better. Still an unknown file type. But I can choose Media Player. When Media Player is launched, he said that it is an unknown extension, but then he plays correctly in any case...

  APEX can now read the type mime, filename,... and send it to the browser.

  BTW, I also removed the P3_WAVE_MIMETYPE... your page 3 of page elements. They are not required. It is enough if you specify the column names associated with the order of the day of the P3_WAVE_BLOB page.

  Looks quite standard MPEG2 video; almost DVD compatible MPEG2. First works fine with most of the flavors of MPEG2, it's like a problem of container. For fun, try to change the AVI into MPG extension; who can force the first using the MPEG Splitter. If it doesn't, post back - there are ways demux (demux) notice in their elementary streams.

  The drag-to-the-new-item-button thing won't help; This is a shortcut to the implementation of a sequence, not a way to force the first to play the video file.   Hello, please try this: enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & search for the preference named plugins.load_appdir_plugins. Double-click it and change its value to true (a restart of the browser may be needed later for the change to take effect).

  When I try to add a channel with a number in the 400s to my list of TV channels, I get a message error "Invalid Channel number - enter a channel between 1 and 158 number."  What is a limitation of Windows Media Center or my HDTV card (which is a Combo NTSC/ATSC Hauppauge WinTV HVR-1600)?

• WIndows 8 - why jpg files are downloaded or saved as files of windows media player

  I'm just a new laptop and WIndows 8 is already installed on it.

  Now, when I try to download an e-mail or drop jpg files, it writes windows media (files WMP) Player.

  When I want to insert images into a Word document, Word does not recognize the WMP files as images.

  Nor can I open them. WMP does not recognize as valid a file and I can't seem to open in a photo application.

  This issue could be caused due to the file Association. I would like to know some information about this problem so that we can help you further.

  1. have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

  2 is this problem limited to all specific jpg files you downloaded?

  I suggest to put Photo Viewer/photo app as default and check if the problem persists.

  To my knowledge you can't, not without having to buy something like Flip4Mac, that allows you to play .wmv files.  As this is a Windows Media file, you cannot open it on a Mac without help, and help usually costs $$$.

  Why use iTunes AND WMP AND a Galaxy? Use one of them.

  The reason for which you you hide it all under "Unknown", this is that wav files are not encrypted when you ripped them. You must add the titles to the hand. However, your Galaxy will not be able to read them.

  You could rip as mp3 at a rate of 320 files - negligible loss of sound quality at a high rate, or as a file flac.

  You can use a codec for WMP for files flac and I don't know if iTunes can read - I never use it for reading. Check the plug on the Apple site. Yet once, however, the Galaxy cannot.

  However, they can read mp3 files, as can your Galaxy (I have a). To transfer files to the Galaxy its recommended to use Kies software (available on Samsung website)...

  If you were to use a program like AudioGrabber (Google for it, its freeware) coupled with the Lame codec (follow the links on the site of AudioGrabber) then you can rip from CD directly to mp3 at a rate of 320 that WMP + iTunes + your Galaxy can read.
