Number the connection by cmd on windows 7

I want to say beacause when I start my Norton Internet Security Boot scan it shows to update internet definition of safety boot, you ill need an internet connection... I have my net connection but its dial upward, so do not automatically but Norton have a startup scan command line option... That's why I need a cmd for dial-up connection...

Can u explain to me how to start Access switched by cmd on windows 7?

Please its urgent...

Hi Claudia,.

The question you posted would be better suited in the Norton forums because id Norton performing time analysis startup, the Internet connection will not work (by the way, you have a dial-up connect which is a slow internet connection). If there is no work around, Norton Support is the best place to find out about it.

  • Zbook 15 G2: Zbook 15 G2 - which required software for the connection of fingerprints on Windows 7-64 bit (company)

The problem is quite simple, but the answer seems to be quite elusive.

I have a new Zbook 15 G2.  It is a work laptop and they apply a standard image using Windows 7 Enterprise.  Unfortunately, it does not all support for the fingerprint readers by default.  I have admin access so I am allowed to load the appropriate drivers/software

But I can't seem to find the correct drivers.  When I search by serial number I get the driver of fingerprints of validity, but it doesn't seem to be a specific software for the use of the connection for Windows 7.  I had several years ago, under the old HP of ProtectTools.  Now, I also see references to Client Security Manager and SimplePass (the latter being the most recent according to a table).  I installed SimplePass but he doesn't seem to see the fingerprint reader (or it is not optional).  Device Manager shows the fingerprint under Biomentrics reader and shows it works normally.

Can someone clarify the situation exactly WHAT must be loaded on the assumption of a new installation of Windows 7?  I can take it from there I think, but without a list looks a bit like a crap-shoot to get the right software installed in order to support.

    Thanks in advance!

    Jerry

    Hello:

It has always been my experience that workstations and laptops professional use security software to protect the tools which has now been replaced by the customer Security Manager software on the newer models like yours.

Consumer class specifications use the security software simple past.

So, if you have installed the validity fingerprint driver, my recommendation would be to install the last client security manager software to register your fingerprint.

I tried the 587 port not working either.

    anyhelp would be greatly appreciated

    De : Gary van

I guess that your problem is with the reception, because the error message you have provided relates to the reception.
Ports 25 and 587 do not affect receive it, because they are for the shipment.

The error message is difficult to assess because you x'd, one part of the name of the server. Perhaps the error is in the part "xxxxxxxx" to the name of the server.

  • Windows XP Outlook Express 6... the connection to the server has failed.

I have Windows XP. When you attempt to send emails from my Outlook Express 6, I get this message...

The connection to the server has failed.
    Account: 'pop3.live.com '.
    Server: 'smtp.live.com '.
    Protocol: SMTP
    Port: 25, secure (SSL): Yes
    Socket error: 10013
    Error number: 0x800CCCOE

Probably your ISP blocks port 25 for access to the SMTP servers other than their own. Go to tools > accounts > {account} > properties > advanced. Change the port to 587 and try again.

I have an internet connection works fine, but trying to fix the wired (Ethernet) it returns error "windows can not finish repairing... the following action could not be completed: renewal of your IP address."
Then I went to cmd, then typed "ipconfig/release" to the manual release and renew and it returned the error "the RPC server is unavailable."
    What is going on?
    Answer your questions:

    1. Why are you trying to repair the connection, if you have already connected to the internet?
2 are you facing problems of internet connection?

-That is a good question. I know you want to know why I tried to repair the connection.  Well, I just noticed that the web pages were unresponsive for a little while and I was surprised that I got these errors when it worked fine.
-I had left my computer without having to reboot for two days, then I did my job, started cold PC and that fixed my 'problem '.   Actually, I just tried to fix the connection a few minutes ago and he managed, so I went in cmd and ipconfig enough played & / renew and everything worked fine.
-Sorry to bother you, I guess I was just curious as to why these error messages have been coming.

    Hello

Your ISP, who runs the mail server, can provide port numbers and other settings. Pages of help/support of the ISP may have this information easily accessible.

The other common cause of error 0 x 800 is safety programs - an antivirus program scans incoming or outgoing e-mail, or a Firewall interferes with authentication.

    Hope this helps,

  • Problems sending/receiving mail - error number: 0x800CCC0E - "the connection to the server has failed..." »

    De : Briangie

I've been out of town for a few days. I was using a public Wi - Fi connection to my laptop. The first part of the week worked fine, but now using the same wireless connection, I receive the following error message. Has happened since yesterday afternoon 03/10/08 and today is 05/10/08. What is the problem? Help, please!

The connection to the server has failed. Account: 'mail.charter.net', server: 'mail.charter.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, secure (SSL): Yes, Socket error: 10060, error number: 0x800CCC0E

    From: Gary van

In Windows Mail, go to the tolls, accounts, select the account mail.charter.net, properties, advanced. Change the port number for the incoming (POP3) server from 995 to 110. Make sure that the adjacent SSL option is not checked. Click OK.

As a general rule, the owner of the SMTP server must be the same that provides your Internet connection at the moment.

The workarounds available when sending abroad are the following:

    1. use webmail to send (via your browser).
    2. ask your ISP if they have one port other than '25' for SMTP. I do not think that
Charter of fact. Cable companies are very difficult to accommodate travellers.
    3. If you frequently use the same connection away from home, replace the SMTP Protocol
Server in this respect. It's a little tricky, but if you want to go this route.
    I can provide more details.
    4. If you frequently send to multiple locations, get a free Gmail account,
Configure it to POP access and use for your shipment of household chores.
Gmail uses port 465 for SMTP, which is not blocked as is port 25.

I am running vista with windows mail and a week ago, I get the error message:

  • Windows Mail 0x900CCC0F error code: "your server has unexpectedly ended the connection." Help!

    Hello

I am running Windows Mail on Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 on a PC HP for ~ 5 years. Our ISP is SBC (AT & T - Uverse) in California, 12 MB/ch wired high-speed Internet. Until recently, electronic mail has been working well. Then, we started to have problems with the speed of send/receive. When you perform one of these tasks, 100% of the time, the green in the status bar goes about to halfway and then stops completely. It takes a few minutes to complete the task (after that Windows Mail is responding again). About 75% of the time, the connection times out. This happened about a year. I had an AT & T technician examine the settings and questions several times and they all said that there is a problem with Windows Mail. The latest technology told me to turn off my antivirus, but then I HAD a virus, so I had to turn it back on. Anyway, I'm currently running Microsoft Security Essentials on your computer, and I read in a forum earlier that he didn't have a problem in this case. This was really inconvinient for us and I came close to switching Mailhosts. It is convinient for me to watch on my cell phone, it's the computer these days. So many random error messages and low speeds - Ugh!

And then, the e-mail completely stopped working today! Every time you try to send/receive, it appears: "your server has ended suddenly the connection. The possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. "Account: 'Windows Mail', server: 'inbound.att.net', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, secure (SSL): Yes, error number: 0x800CCC0F. This has been reviewed several times and AT & T said that there is a problem with Windows Mail. I can't send or receive e-mail, and it is completely ridiculous! Soon will contribute an expert please! (Otherwise, we change to another host)

    Sincerely,
