    Hello

It would be a good idea to run the System File Checker tool to see if you have corrupted files

"How to use the System File Checker tool to fix the files on system missing or corrupted on Windows Vista or Windows 7"

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929833

Use the (SFC.exe) System File Checker tool to determine which file is causing the problem and then replace the file. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click principally made programs, Accessories, right-click guest, and then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow.
    2. Type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    And Malware scan:

Search for malware, if necessary using the safe mode with networking.

  • Unable to connect to Skype last with Messenger account

    Hello

I see that this has been asked before, but no matter how I search, I can't find an answer, so I hope someone will be able to help here please?

For the last year I've been deliberately uses an earlier version of Skype as it was (and still is) a problem of signing in the last version of which was an old MSN/Messenger account. I get the message saying that my login details were not recognized. Then I found on this forum if I rode back to an older version of Skype would be all well... and it was... until today...

I now have the question when I sign in I am disconnected back and said that I have upgraded (see photo). But with the latest version... I sill have the problem where they tell me my login details are not recognized.

I have a true Skype account in my own name, but it is work related and I don't want to mix all the contacts. The one I use in my personal account was my old MSN/Messenger account and it was taken over by Skype.

    Help!

I use a computer laptop Dell Latitude E6500 and Windows 7 Professional, I have four years and not had a problem until now.

Why doesn't the latest version of Skype with old Messger login?

    Thank you very much

  • Unable to connect to Skype account.

    Original title: SKYPE

I have problems logging back on my Skype account. I did a backup and recovery with no luck. Everyone HELPS

    Hello

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community Forum. Rest assured that we would do our best to help you.

Answer the following questions which would help us understand the issue:

    1. what exactly happens when you try to sign in to Skype?

    2. do you get an error message/code? If Yes, what is the exact error code/message you get?

    3. which version of Skype you installed?

    4. have you installed security software on your computer?

Try these steps and check if that helps:

    Step 1:

If security software is installed I suggest to disable the security software for the moment and verify if you are able to connect.

Note: Be sure to activate or activate security software once you are finished with the test.

Important note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks

Also to disable the firewall for the moment and check. To do this, visit the following link:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/283673

Note: Be sure to enable the firewall once you are finished with the test.

    Step 2:

You can also post your query to the Skype forums in the following link.

Hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to answer, we would be happy to help.
