• RoboHelp 11-problem with dropdown lists fonts, size of the police and Zoom

  I have a user guide that was created before I became technical editor. I started using RoboHelp 7 and I do not know if this guide was created in an earlier version of RoboHelp. I myself upgraded to RoboHelp 9 and then to version 11. The file contains 3237 files, 480 records and the size is 64.5 MB. I had someone save me when I was away from the office. She used different fonts on certain topics than what has been used in the rest of the guide. (Arial was used in the guide, using Calibri). I am now updating of the guide and I can't change the font. When my cursor is sitting on the text within a topic title fields and police continue to Flash. Header flashes normal flashing title 1 and police Times New Roman and Arial. When I click on the drop down menu to police, I cannot select anything because the drop guard scrolling, if I try to scroll to the top menu drop-down continues dating back to Time New Roman. And it happens if fast, that I can't click on a selection. I tried you select the font in the topic and do a right click on the mouse select font. I am able to choose the font that I want, but when I click on OK, the police is not displayed in size, it should be. 12 very small poster font size. Anyone know what can cause this problem and what can I do about it? Thanks for any help you can provide.

• Problem of horizontal list

  Hi all
  I have problems with horizontal lists. I can't get the list items to accept filling in the LINES so that they appear vertically central to the navigation bar, while the horizontal alignment of the left. • RoboHelp generate accident MS-HTML (long)

  I use RoboHelp HTML 2002r2 Build 1150 on a box of Citrix Presentation Server 4 running on Windows 2003 SP1.
  I have a project that is stored on a network (Netware 6) drive using the client 4.91 SP2.
  My desktop is Windows 2000 SP4.
  
  The first time that I try to generate the file CHM Server breaks down just before the "copy files" part of the build, and everyone on the box is thrown. After about 2 minutes, access is restored, although all sessions have been laid.
  The system gives event 1003 event log, it is a fairly generic stop error and none of the solutions I've found for this event ID helped. Other event logs show services restart as if Explorer has expired and restarted.
  
  Subsequent attempts to generate the file CHM OK work and are usually OK for the rest of the day. I do not know what re - defines the trigger of error but the next day the first generate crash usually. I tried to restart the server and workstation during the day and the generation of CHM has been fine... until the next day again. There is no current process of execution during the night which should affect the server, just a backup. I intend to move the backup off for a few days for to FEI, it affects it, but I can't do that until the weekend because it is a live server.
  
  I've set up a test server has no problem, but it doesn't have the full range of applications and settings that the server has, it would take a week to put in place.
  
  I noticed that each compilation let the temp folder! chm_temp_folder_ nn behind, that generate it is successful or not.
  
  The server is locked so that certain users can run certain applications, however my user has read/write access to the Robohelp installation directory and the project directory on the Netware server.
  
  I have re-installed the app from scratch (uninstall, manually remove the files bit left in the Robohelp file, deleted HKCU\Software\Blue Sky Software, then re - install and patch).
  
  A few questions for those of you who have made up to now :-)
  Robohelp known problems running on a Citrix server?
  Known problems running the upholstery of a mapped Netware drive file?
  Why temporary folders are left after a successful generation of CHM file?
  Any ideas why build it first falls down?
  What would you do to troubleshoot?

  Hi Offa and welcome to the forums. What I would say is not, repeat not, run HR of a network drive. You ask for trouble if you do what HR ech project has an underlying Access database that are known to have problems except when performed on a local drive. By all means the backup on a network drive. The only time that you have the source files on a network drive is where they are the controlled source.

  I had a problem with the list control in flex. I'm trying to implement a list of a few names where the user can select each name by clicking on the item in the list. My question is if the list with the same name then not able to select the items in the list. (The same reversal isn't the case)

• Problem with the list item

  Hi all
  I am facing a problem with the list item in my form. In my form, I have a list item (tmd_stat) with 3 list of values as the item complete, incomplete and null.this lies in the control block.
  
  I have a block (Detail) which is the database block.status_disp [point List] is one of the .an article on the value of list tmd_stat is filling with different values.
  
  an alert message (you want to change the status? Yes/No) will appear when we change the list item. If I click YES then the list works and retail block point status_disp is filled with a different list of values. If I click on 'No' the list value will be set to changed value.i.e suppose that I'm changing the Complete incomplete list item, alert message will be displayed. If I click on 'No' the cursor is placed on incomplete but incomplete. How can I place the cursor on the full value.

• RoboHelp 2015: Problem conversion of numbered paragraphs

  Dear readers,

  For a project I need Robohelp 2015 to convert a text Word 2010 numbered section headers (1. Title 1, 1.1. Title2, etc.). I would like to as Robohelp to generate topics separated for each of these headers. Not numbered headers (default value of Word) it works very well, for numbered headings I get a single subject with headers converted to Favorites. Anyone knows how to generate topics separated for each heading numbered by Robohelp?

  Thanks a lot for your answer. You're right, I had checked Pagination, I forgot to mention that in my original post.

  Numbered headers are required for the project, unfortunately. After many tests I found what caused the document do not split into several pages on the numbered headers. In the Conversion Settings window, other parameters section, I had 'List Convert Word' also checked. This causes the headers interpreted as list items and not as headers, where they were not converted into several pages. Once I unchecked, everything worked fine. Currently I do not see why they have been converted to Favorites, but at least my problem seems to be resolved.

• SQLite problems try to list all tables

  I use SQLite for storage in my application and have encountered the problem of not being able to list all the tables in my database.  According to: http://www.sqlite.org/faq.html#q7

  The correct way is:

  SELECT name FROM sqlite_master WHERE type = 'table' ORDER BY name;

  But FlashDevelop rejects this saying

  (A) name does not exist as a colum

  (B) sqlite_master does not exist as a tabl

  (C) does not exist as a colum

  Is there a special way to do within the AIR environment?  Or I make an obvious mistake?

  I can't answer for the moment exactly why access sqlite_master may not work, except to say that it's probably the Flash SQL layer interferes with that.  Same reason you cannot issue statements "PRAGMA".

  On the other hand, flash.data has support for what you want built into it, in the form of the function loadSchema() .  Under the covers, he uses almost certainly ' select * from sqlite_master ", so this is your best bet all around...

• Problem with ScriptUI lists

  I have a problem with a ScriptUI Photoshop for six days.

  This script defines a table of all the images located in a top folder and its subfolders. Then he opens the first found photo and creates a list of the EXIF of the camera.

  listExif1.selection returns an array of ListItems.  You can get the index using the 'index' property, or get the text using the "text" property

  For example if I put the following code in the listExif1.onChange Manager:

  In addition, I don't know exactly what you are trying to accomplish, but as a guess, you want a list of currently selected items when the user press the run button. In this case I consider rather than follow the selections in the onChange for each listbox handler, simply get the current selections at the time when the user presses the run button.

  If the main function might look like this:

  first of all, I am french, sorry for my bad English

  I am installing a VMware View (6.0.1) solution, I deploy servers of the company I work (on Windows 2008 R2):

  -on the same domain (horizon.local):

  -Server connection-see: 172.16.15.1/24

  -Server view composer: 172.16.15.3/24

  -a Server Active Directory: 172.16.15.2/24 with a DHCP server

  -free domain name:

  -Security Server see: 172.16.15.14/24 and 194.3.x.x/24 (public IP address to external access). In this server, I installed an SSL certificate for the FULL domain name corresponds to public IP address.

  Between 172.16.15.100/24 and 172.16.15.200/24 ip address AND virtual desktops (Windows 7 Pro, see agent installed and installed the html access).

  So my problem: when I'm at home and try to connect to the Security Server (the FULL domain name is horizon.mycompany.net), everything is ok. I write my user and password, it's ok. The pool to allow it there but when I click on the pool, in the navigation bar on google Chrome, the FULL domain name has been replaced by the virtual IP address of office: 172.16.15.101, so when I'm at home I can not be connected (because of the private address).

  Anyone know how I can keep public IP address all the time?

  Are you able to connect to desktops using PCoIP and HTML access when it connects directly to the login server?  If it is successful, the connection to the server is fine.

  Regarding the security servers, there is a 1:1 relationship between security servers and connection.  This means that if you have 2 security servers, you should have 2 servers connection.  Since you have a connection to the server, I recommend the deletion of unused security server.  This is possible by running the command: vdmadmin-s-r-s unknown of the connect to server command line.

  The image that you attached previously called a security server - WIN-SECURITYSER modifier has WIN-SECURITYSER as server name.  Security servers listed in administrator mode are WIN-QIP6105UM7 and Innoconnu.  I believe that when you change the name of a security server, it will update in administrator mode, but not on the field a security server modifier.  Since WIN-T2JSQ1T05IQ and WIN-QIP6105U0M7 seem to be names of default host and unknown is unknown (in English), I wonder if unknown was once WIN-SECURITYSER.

  If delete unknown does not resolve the problem, it may be necessary to remove and reinstall the Security server on WIN-QIP6105U0M7 software reinstall to ensure that it pairs correctly with the connection to the server.

• IE problem with spry lists when next to Flash element

  My Web site http://www.chamblissgiobbi.com/index.html has a problem with IE 7 & 8. On the pages of images where the Flash is used does not display the menu drop down. I read that the problem is that IE puts Flash on the upper level, regardless of what index Z, so that the drop-down list ends up being behind the flash. I tried a few bugs but still no luck.  Here is my code, and since I'm still new to this it might be something obvious I'm doing wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated it.

  You do not use the latest Spry files

  The latest version of the Adobe Spry 1.6.1 Framework it is the same version that ships with Dreamweaver CS4. If you are using Dreamweaver CS3 (uses Spry 1.4), its wise to upgrade your files to the latest version. This can be easily done by using Updater Spry who can be found here.

  I think that your problem will be solved once you have updated.

Building the content of files hep in the Word document I insert images by using the Insert-> picture-> Word file menu. After that I inserted about 2 MB of images RoboHelp crashes when I run the RoboHelps file-> generate main Layout for MS HtmlHelp, in the menu. The compiler output crashes just essentially by the following:

  I found the image on the border of the size limit and delete it and am able to generate the output. I can also replace it with a much smaller image and can generate the output.

  This seems very strange to me, 2 MB is nothing. We mainly use a JPG image and two small GIFs. This could be just a problem with the trial version of RoboHelp 8 or maybe RoboHelp wants images inserted in Word in a different way?

  You missed my point. With RoboHelp HTML you do not have to import, you link and then create the CHM. The Word document can reside on the network and SMEs can change. When you build, RoboHelp prompts you to update the topics in the current version of the document.

  Thus, you always have your Word documents available for others to update and you still have your CHMS.

  Which version of Word you are using. In 2007, things RoboHelp seems to be in the Add-In Ribbon.

• Problem with spark list and XML dataProvider

  I am VERY new to Flex so I'm probably doing something wrong, but I hope it means this will get a quick response.

  I use a list of spark related to a data provider. On the actions of the user, the list will be filtered. The problem I encounter is that when the xml result is one, she will eventually launch an error:

  Has no type constraint: cannot convert mx.utils::ObjectProxy to mx.collections.IList.

• RoboHelp Image problems

  Not always but often, robohelp will display an image that I insert.
  
  I added the image as usual, it appears in the list of project files, robohelp copy in the project directory and it is displayed on the page. However I export for printed documentaton and webhelp and no picture does appear, in aid of the web, I get the box with the Red Cross and in word I get nothing at all.
  
  I have not applied construction tags and images are in the standard .bmp format.
  
  any help or ideas would be appreciated.

  have tried to use image formats, including jpg and gif, which produce a noticeable difference in the quality of the image.
  jpg adds shadows under lines and behind the text and gif makes bland grainy effects. ulimately, I think that if robohelp says it can support an image type, then it should work perfectly.

  anyway I can't work out exactly how, but I managed to solve the problem.

  It seems a dead space at the top of my document where no image in the first 4 lines of my document are they displayed, I think that it is a bit of a bug, it's a little hard to explain.

  I inserted the picture in 5 different formats and one stood. the fifth. I changed the order and still the last image in the order has been demonstrated. So basically I now just avoid putting images in the lines of four albums.

• NB100, keyboard-numbers instead letters problem!

  Hi guys, can anyone help? Last July the keyboard on my NB100 developed a fault. The keys U, I, O, J, K, L and M when you press a given 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 numbers.
  As it was still under warranty, I sent it back to be repaired. Everything was fine until today, when he started to do the same.
  I checked that UK keyboard is selected (I even installed the United Kingdom International keyboard software) and I've updated the BIOS. All to nothing does not. I checked for viruses and spyware, there is none.
  I don't want the expense of another repair that the Netbook is now out of warranty.

  Someone at - it an idea of what the problem might be?
