Numbers change format finance

How do I change the $20. 0 m format to the format of $20 million, I can do this with GREP

Yes, you can use GREP

Find (\d\.\d+)m (this allows the possibility that there could be more than one digit after the decimal point))

Change $1million ( is a pressure on the space bar).

This is not a formula, but a constant simple schema of a table complex. Wire remains, then do a right click of the terminal of the initializer of the feedback node and select "create constant. That should do it.

  • How can I change the default numbered list formatting?

I started a new project HR 10 and every time I turn a paragraph in a numbered list by clicking the numbering on the toolbar button, the font is changed to Arial. I need it to match my Normal style.

In all other HR projects if I click the numbering button, it creates the list but does not change the rest of the formatting. What is going on?

I looked in help, but he tells me that I need to define a new style etc etc. I've never done this before so am rather confused.

Is it possible to change the formatting of a list numbered according to my Normal style so I can just click the toolbar button to convert a paragraph in list?

It is probably because the body tag is set to Arial.

Normal is equivalent to a p tag, while lists are ul/ol/li tags and will inherit the police body, unless configured otherwise.

If you have two options for editing the style sheet in the editor of HR (double-click on the style sheet):

    1. You might change others > lists to your fonts.
    2. You might change others > background + text (BODY) to your fonts. With this option, all your text should use this font, unless you set a different font for a specific style (for example, the headings).

If you change the background + text (BODY), you could edit your style sheet in a text editor and remove the entry from the family of police for the p tag, but it depends on how comfortable you are with css.

  • Word 2003's painfully slow when I try to change format, insert page numbers, etc.

After the update was automatic, I have problems with Word 2003.  I deleted some registry data according to the instructions provided by Microsoft.  That seems to have solved the problem I had with recording and printing, but I still have a problem with most of the other functions.  For example, when I click format, click Font, it takes about a minute for the dialog box and another three minutes to apply the changes and close the box.  I tried to repair Microsoft Office, but to no avail.  Help!

    You can try this:

Open Word 2003 > click HELP > detect and repair.

If the above does not resolve the problem:

  • changing format of page numbers

    Hi all

I'm doing a series of forms ncr with ID cs5 serial numbers. I have in the past just used the page numbers on the master page to make running serial number. The question I am runnning now is that the serial numbers need in a format such as: 0001, 0002, etc... Is it possible to format page numbers to look like that?

    Thank you

    I'm on a Mac:

In your control panel Page, highlight 1st page

Use the menu drop down (or right click)

    Letter: Numbering & Options section

Under Style: Choose good numbering (see attach)

  • a string of numbers changing when you change a shape numbers

I'm on a test run using Acrobat DC. When you change one or more of the numbers in a column loses its shape. I managed to change some PDFs using Acrobat DC, but some (from the source of the monthly information) won't let me change the numbers. What I am doing wrong?

    Hi tired:

I looked at page 6 of your 15.06.23.pdf file. In fact, if you try to change 231-21, the formatting of the column gets disturbed. Then I tried to reduce the width of the box 'just enough' by entering the Central clamp on the right edge, then he restored the layout of numbers. Hope that works for you.

    Kind regards

  • Why change format effective PPI?

    Hello!

Effective ppi format change to 'effective resolution', as 2356x1678px. I want to return to actual ppi, as 370ppi. How to get back?

When you see two numbers like this, it means your image is climbed differently in the horizontal and vertical axes and is distorted.

  • Numbered list formatting

I suspect that it is a matter of Word more than making a Robohelp for Word - but I do not know...

I changed the tab stops/hanging indent for numbered lists and bulleted to 1/4 inches instead of the standard 1/2 inch of personal preference for a tighter spacing. When I have more than a numbered list in a document HR and change the first element in a new list to restart page numbering, Word automatically applies a different style to the first item in the list. The rest of the list is my favorite format. All list items have the same style of Word.

I've looked everywhere I can think but cannot understand why Word does this, or indeed, where it becomes the substitute of formatting. Can someone point me in the right direction? Or tell me that I should come back to the tab of 1/2 inch spacing because I am violating natural law of the universe!

    Thank you...

Thank you stone and limestone Springs. Since the discovery of the solution yesterday morning, I had intended to respond to Peter that the answer has nothing to do with printing. This is the case, indeed, reside in the area that you suggest, LS.

I use a very coherent styles throughout my Word docs, which was part of my frustration. I couldn't understand the source of the alternative Word apply when I chose to restart page numbering in the following lists in a document formatting. And I didn't come back just by using the chip number / and dash buttons because then I lose the ability to apply universally style changes throughout a document or set of documents.

Are the problem - and the answer - in behind the button Customize... in the chips and numbers dialog box. It seems that when I select restart numbering, Word replaces the style of Format/Styles with the style of bullets and numbers. Once I understood this point, I've changed the style of bullets and numbers to match the Format/style list number 2 and now everything works exactly as I would expect in the first place.

    That's the good news...

Now, I find that the parameters of bullets and numbers , which I thought were stored exclusively in robohelp.dot model where I applied them, are apparently used more widely. Or at least that is my current presumption because my revised dashes just appeared in a new created Word doc when HR is not running. To resolve this problem, I open Normal.dot and unchecked robohook.wll Tools/templatesand Add-ins.... I stopped and restarted Word and my customizations HR is no longer appear in Word itself but appear when I start HR.

Just to keep at least part of the mystery alive, however, I now discover that robohook.wll is checked once more when I open new documents based on the normal .dot - but my HR customizations do not appear! But at least they seem always to HR.

  • Change formatting without erasing the data on an external hard drive

My post HD format is Mac OS extended (case-sensitive, journaled); It was by default when I used it all first.

But now I want to make changes for Mac OS extended (journaled), as I assume that I will not need to enter the password for authentication whenever I have copy the files thereon.

Is there a way I could format my HD Ext. without erasing the files that are already in HD? Because it would be very awkward to copy the folder back.

Thank you very much in advance!

    X

Sorry but no... you must reformat the hard disk, which will erase the content.

"Case-sensitive" should not be originally to enter your password. "Case-sensitive" is rarely necessary.

  • Numbers: Conditional formatting

I am familiar with Excel, as with numbers. I try to use the conditional formatting in numbers, and it seems that less well implemented? Maybe someone can explain to me how this could work? To the point, I can't get a cell that shows the result of a formula to work in conditional formatting. Can't select areas of cells and to combine the formatting as it is on a single cell value compared and not a relative comparison to a cell in the same way, if I dragged a formula from cell to cell (it would fill the formula compared to all the cells in the new area drag out).

I am trying to compare two columns. If the results in cell A2 are the same as in cell B2 and then, there is no additional formatting. If on the other hand, cells A2 and B2 are not equal, then the formatting should make the text in cell B2 red. Once I get this done properly then I also want to apply to the rest of the cells in the two columns.

It does not work. The problem seems to be this column B is the result of a calculation and therefore cannot be read in the formula of conditional highlight? This is meaningless at all that it was designed that way. As I looked at length before this announcement, some talk of adding a third cell, but as the value that I need is to be calculated, I don't see how this is supposed to work - even in a workaround?

It is a project where I get a handle on an open account that got away from me. I compare the monthly interest charges of banks in column A with the result of my formula in column B, which allows to calculate what should be the interest, according to the formula provided clean banks. These two cells must match exactly, and when it is off, I want to note. That's why once that I operate in two cells, I want to apply to the results in two columns. But even once, it seems no way to do this?

    It works here:

To get this A2 "lozenge" click the box-and-arrow-symbol and then click cell A1.
