Numbers chapter in the TOC?

I wonder if there is a way of:

1 print the chapter number in Word using a kind of method of auto-numbering and
2 bear chapter numbers appear on the same line as the chapter name (e.g., Chapter 3: implementation of XXX).

I guess you want numbering to be implemented you generate HR. There is no built-in for HR option so the temptation would be to create a model where your heading 1 style applied the numbering. You could try it but I think it will fail, or it may cause other problems. I see a number of printing problems and many occur when people use their own models. There is nothing wrong with them, it's just that many fail with release HR.

What I suggest you try is using a copy of your project. Create a copy of the Style mapping template if it isn't already in your project, or create a copy of the master style mapping template which you should find in C:\Program Files\RoboHelp Office\RoboHTML\PrintDocExt. Open this copy in Word so that you are working on the template. Don't mess with the content. Just Wade in and modify the heading 1 style and generate then select the model in the last page of the wizard. If the numbering was applied something to offer to the gods.

We have 11 Frame and a doc defined by the 4.2 xDocbook - I know it's way back, but this is not our issue. :-)
We add a < etc > element in favor in our documents. It exists in Docbook and appears in various elements parents, including a < chapter > element. We need to insert it anywhere in a chapter.
Our rule of the general chapter was pretty simple: Section title.
Now, we just want the opportunity to add an etc. anywhere, can we add a Section. I tried this, which seems logical:

I had to read your entire message before that I didn't know that your validation error is XML rather than FrameMaker. They are in the definition of % bookcomponent.content. Note that the +'s in the subexpression:

(sect1 + |) (refentry.class;) + | simplesectunique + | section + %)

are inside parentheses, rather than after it. To paraphrase, this subexpression allows one or several elements of sect1, one or more sequences of % referentry.class, one or more items of simplsect or one or several elements of section. It does not brewing these four possibilities, as would the change created by the removal of the +'s internal and put one single + after the closing parenthesis:

(sect1 |) (%refentry.class;)|simplesect|section)+

Note that this last is parallel to what you have in your EDD.

The reason why this refentry.class %; is in brackets is that she could be declared to be a subexpression by using commas, which cannot be used at the same level as the existing vertical bars. My client asked if their lesson can have an option of connecting at the beginning that allows to the learner to look at the whole lesson without having to click a next button or pause between chapters or modules and a second option to select an table of contents type screen where they can choose the specific chapter they want to watch and then when the chapter is finished , the learner may choose to continue to the next chapter or return to the TOC.
I understand that I can create this scenario branching, but in my version, I would be reproducing the entire lesson (about 140 slides) to create two paths, a path with break/navigation for chapters and one without.
Is there a better way to achieve this style of navigation and keep the file as small as possible? My Java skills are at a beginner level, so please include the details if the solution must use Java.

You can do this using variables and Actions Advanced conditional in Captivate. But it is not a job for a beginner to Captivate.

You must use the slide branching to set the value of a variable that indicates whether to watch any content or use the slide menu choices to the user. Next, you need to use Actions conditional Advanced triggered by events YOU DRAG ENTER to skip certain slides and play others. You must also implement the Menu slide and again use variables and Actions Advanced conditional go to return users after completing the sections.

Find/change the question numbers and create the Table of contents

Hello! I need help to find all my item numbers and apply a paragraph style so I can use them to create a Table of contents page.
The sample numbers

I tried to enter #^? ^ ? ^ ? ^ ? ^ ? in the search/replace and but it is exactly 5 characters after the sign #. I wonder if you can find all characters starting by # and up until the last characters.
Once I found all item numbers, how can I apply the paragraph style to have these characters after the sign #? Because I only want to show item numbers without the # sign on the Table of contents/Index page.
In addition, I have InDesign CS2, which have no function GREP maybe I can do this without the GREP?

Are your numbers by themselves in a separate paragraph? OTHERWISE you can not USE the table of contents feature to list all the numbers.

If are, then just look at # in find/replace, then set it to change formatting a new paragraph style (you must create this style in CS2) that you want to include in the table of contents, then as you say, you can use find/replace once more on the history of the TOC to remove the # of all numbers.

I'm setting up a pilot logbook and I need to keep track of when I lead some approaches to the instruments for the purposes of recency.

For example, the last time I did a VOR approach was April 20, 16. I need the numbers to recognize the "VOR" text and give me the corresponding date. I'm having numbers give me this date in a separate table.

Any ideas on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

This is a roundabout way. Perhaps another user will display a more elegant way.

Table 1 is a version abridged your journal of driving. Here is table 2:

Table 2 uses the SIERREUR function to place "" (NULL) if the SEARCH fails to find a match between the value in the header line and an entry in the log of your flight.

Otherwise, it inserts a value (The FIND returns the starting position of a string in another).

Now we've found BK VOR (and fill to the right) and SID.

Table 3 is a Date of any cell in table 2 which is not "" (NULL).

Formula in A2 (and fill down and fill the right)

= IF(Table 2::A2≠"",Table 1::$A2,"")

You can type this than = IF (table 2::A2 <>"", Table 1: $A2, "")

3 numbers will change <>≠

Formula of the cell footer of table 3 (for column A, then fill to the right)

= MAX (A)

To improve the 'presentation', move (copy / paste) 2 Table to another worksheet (TAB). The formulas will adjust automatically.

ThinkServer RD650 & 720ix RAID - how to get all the readers don't appear in the TOC?

Just got a RD650 with a 720ix controller. The chassis I have is where it provides a hybrid of disk form factors. Thus, at the front left of the server it first has 6 x 2.5 "bays and then 3 x 3.5" bays, which is the first half of the bottom of basket. Then the rest of the side front of the server and the other half of the background is populated by 6 x 3.5 "bays.

I have 6 hard drives in total: 2 x 300GB 2.5 "SAS 15 k and 4 x 3 TB 3.5" 7.2 k SAS. However, when I go in storage management in the TLT, the number of disks is only 5 and I don't get the option to include all 4 of my disks 3.5 "in a virtual drive, I get only the possibility to include 3. If the last drive 3.5 "which is located on the right side of the server and backplane is not displayed as being available.

Now, I know that this controller supports up to 32 disks, so what do I do to get this appears as a disk?

I'll post a picture here as well, the contours in green are my readers that ARE available, the red box is my a drive 3.5 "which is NOT displayed as being available (all the lights are on and drive seems to operate normally, if I swap this drive for another that I always get just the same 3, 3.5 available instead of all 4 readers).

I would REALLY appreciate some help with this, I need this appearance of player for RAID10 or this server back!

Yes sorry I meant far earlier, it was a dead drive, I thought since I had checked in the other bays correctly but obviously not.

This server has only 2 usb ports! Crazy, so if you're flshing a firmware or load a driverbundle or something else in the TOC but USB, you will need to remove the keyboard or the mouse, what genius decided cela? All servers must be at least 3 USB ports, whether or not you are going to run headless finally.

In addition, ALL 3.5 "4 drive caddies are cracked and broken where the screw fits on the front plastic part metal! This must have been done in the factory AND the hanging screws which holds the raid card down is broken!

Recently, I did a lot of data in tdm format. I recorded it originally in an overly complex and organized way which gave rise to the large header files and was very slow. I changed it and most of the data is fine, except 6 files in the old format. Just try to read out the data and then convert it into an easier format takes too much time. Each file has 15000 ~ groups of channels, each with 3 channels (I won't do this again...). I have witten a little vi to test the playback speed. Other than opening and closing of the record, if I found a group of channels by name, reading a channel of this group takes about 1 second. It could still take days to read all, but it would be acceptable. The strange thing is, it is that if I do this in a loop for successive channel groups which is clearly necessary, it takes more time and more time each iteration. This is behavior I've always seen during playback of the files in the TOC, but it did not cause a serious problem before. I can't find information on why, so I hope I'm just something stupid. I have attached the speed stable vi (Labview 2010). It runs for 5 iterations, the time for read channels

The channels, it's reading all have the same number of values, and it makes no difference if I put myself in a group of different channels (by adding a number to i in the loop).

Does anyone have an explanation for this behavior?

Try to change the replacement options in open data vi to open (read only).

Also, I found a moment of someone else having this problem. Their solution was to use the "convert to the TDM to TDMS VI" in the range of storage to convert files TDM PDM and then by performing read operations. Could this work for you?

For example I want to display the TOC icon on some of my slides, except of these slides, I would like to hide.

You can't easily change the buttons in the default player bars. But if you use a button custom shape on the first slide to turn the table of contents (only possible overlap), this time for the rest of the project button, always on top, it will have a unique ID (name).
