• HP Jet 13: could not get the usable screen after you enter the password when you restart

  After reboot I get the standard wallpaper (like the rings of Saturn), hour, day, week, month, and day, wifi bars and battery.  After the press, I have the icon pushing, my name, email and password.  By entering the password I get the points surrounding white and WELCOME, then by default in the screen with only sûr white pointer visiible.

  That's all new laptop from Amazon and seemed to work well until I have intalled the Office 365 online.  Then I started to get warnings from McAfee on bad files 'try to start', then the blank screen even during reboot.

  Please let me how to restore my system or to whom to return it.

  Boot the computer normally and log.

  Black screen, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

  Select Task Manager.

  Click on file and select the new task.

  Type rstrui - also enter a tick in the box for "create this task with administrative privileges" - and click on Ok.

  When the system restore interface is loaded, choose a restore point at least 48 hours before the log - it occurs first and then proceed to the system restore.

  Hello!  I am trying to help a friend get a small achievable tablet to take with him to the chemo.  I was not able to enter the original hard drive because of password protection, so I installed an old hard drive to a laptop, I used to have in it.  I reinstalled the XP operating system since the DVD provided with the original computer and now it won't let me past the opening screen.  He repeats to me there was a problem with the activation of Windows, and when I click Activate, it says Windows is already activated.  I would like to get fixed for my friend before his next turn.  Very small pieces would be appreciated!

  The HDMI TV is defined as the main display on your computer monitor. To change the same to your laptop.
  Here's how:
  a. right-click on an empty space on the desktop and click on the screen resolution.
  b. at the top, you will see the current main screen with the Start Menu in the lower left.
  NOTE: If you are unsure which monitor who is, then click on the button to display the number on the screen to match with identity.
  c. at the top, click on the numbered display device (ex: monitor, projector or TV HDMI) you want to make your primary display to have its established border highlight.
  d. check the brand that my hand display and click OK to apply.
  NOTE: You will notice that when you check this box, the Menu start now we in this numbered display.

• Cannot start after the blue screen "page in the nonpaged area failure."

  My sons laptop has got to me.  There the error page blue to come with "failure page in the nonpaged area." There is a chain of technical info of numbers, but this changes a little at each attempt.

  I tried all F8 options, without success.  I did a restore disk from the laptop of my other son (which is the same) and that has not worked and I also downloaded a file of system restore on the internet who do not.  I ran diagnostics memory on the scope option and who found nothing.

  No matter what I try, always the fails to start after the first screen with Microsoft Corporation at the bottom and the small lights of scrolling!

  I would be grateful for any suggestions that anyone can have.  I wondered if I should try to borrow a disc of Windows Vista from someone and try from there?

  I used to have 12 contacts in the upper part of the speed of call screen to compose. Now I'm down to only 8. I try to add an extra 4 it tells me that I have exceeded the maximum number allowed. I just moved to the classic, this device was working fine on my previous 3 Q10s.

  If you look in the 10.3.2 the user guide, it says:

  "You can add a total of eight contacts or numbers to the speed dial list on the screen of the calls.

  I also looked in the guide to the previous version (10.3.1) and it is said you can have 12 contacts. Thus, they seem to have reduced the number from 12 to 8 for some reason any.

  I'm not aware of any documentation regarding the priority of the RIM screens.  However, I know that some of them use ve numbers - and no matter what you are coding, some screens from RIM will always display on top of yours.

  You will also find global screens have a number of restrictions regarding what you can do with them, for example to display the Menus behind the global screens.  Therefore tried to use global screens to develop your application might make this a bit difficult development.

  If you think that can override disable, and in it, do something like

  which should display your screen on top of the application that has been brought forward.

  Have a new toughbook of Panasonic CF - H2.  Windows 7. On the login screen of the touch screen keyboard has black keys with white numbers. When you type the password it does not show what keys are be depressed.   This is for safety.  Starting with Windows 8, it became optional and you can choose if you want to see it or not.

  I'm WRONG - please let this post die a miserable death fast... the setting is in the numbering screen preferences.

  I find myself constantly trying to dial a contact from the numbering screen, but it will only recognize the numbers from the keyboard.  Any other smart phone in the world would be trying to decipher the contact you are trying to achieve without the extra step of tap contacts or closing of the application of the makeup and do a smart search on the person.  They must be worried that their keyboard is also capable of misfiring in trying to dial a number from the physical keyboard.  At least give me a setting to choose my preferred method. Gripe to add to an increasingly large list.

  Hello and welcome to the forums,

  To search for contacts from the keypad, open the preferences in the phone app, and then make sure the option under "when the keyboard input" which is 'Show Contact matches' is set on "ON". This will allow to use the sliding keyboard and tap a contact name to bring up their information while remaining in the keyboard. You can find out if this goes on the main keyboard looking above the number keys on the screen. If the input box says «Enter the number...» "then it is to 'OFF', but if it says"enter the name or number.... " "he's ready to search your contact list for phone numbers.

  You will need to use the slider to find, at this time the letters under each number on the screen (a, b, c under 2 for example) are not options to search the database.
