  This problem occurs when the agent Windows Update Wups2.dll file is incorrectly registered in the registry. Because registry files that correspond to the Wups2.dll file are missing, update facilities have failed. There are two methods to resolve this issue, use method 1 first, and if it did not resolve your issue, go to method 2

  Method 1: Save the Windows Update files

  1. click Start and type notepad in the box start the search .

  2. click on Notepad in the programs list.

  3. copy the following commands, and then paste them into the opened Notepad window:

  REGSVR32 WUPS2. DLL/S
  REGSVR32 STINKS. DLL/S
  REGSVR32 WUAUENG. DLL/S
  REGSVR32 WUAPI. DLL/S
  REGSVR32 WUCLTUX. DLL/S
  REGSVR32 WUWEBV. DLL/S

  1. in Notepad, on the file menu, click on record under .

  2. in the list record under , click all files .

  3. in the file name box, type register.bat .

  4. save the Register.bat file to your desktop.

  5 right-click the Register.bat file, and then click run as administrator . Collapse this includes this image if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or click continue .

  6. try to install the updates again.

One of the problems is that my then "IT Consultant" active Office 2007 on 3 PC's at the same time, and even though I have activation keys, I know not that you belong to what PC. 2 other computers work properly in order to access the news and maybe by a process of elimination working key that is relevant for the PC dead.   As Vista was preinstalled you cannot move it to another PC.

  A Vista preinstalled (from HP, Acer, etc..) License is called an OEM license and is related to the 1st computer on which it is installed on.

  It is related to this PC for the life of this PC and dies when the PC dies.

  The licenses of Vista at retail are licenses that can be transferred to another PC.

  Like you bought a pack of 3 of the office, you can transfer licenses of office from PC to PC.

  Hi, my old Mac died a few months ago. I crab together a mess of discs and my old laptop and used until we got a new office. In the meantime, we have given my office (totally erased the hard drive) to my mother-in-law. I had read in aid of various forums that I should not have a problem to download to my new computer, so I was surprised to see that the possibility to download the Mac of my "Downloads" tab in the shop Adobe says "not applicable".

  (I'm really tired right now so forgive me if this is a silly question, but LR 4 I am referring to is updated.) This is why I can't download it? I should have the old LR 3 disk somewhere. Although I would rather simply add a program if I can.)

  I thought about it through a fog of sleep deprivation. I tried to download the 'English' version, thinking that "many languages" was all but in English. But it wasn't the case. I used my serial number of the LR 4 update and the product code and the serial number of my LR 3 Student Edition and everything's fine.

  Thanks anyway. (Leaving this here just in case someone else knows a similar situation.)

  I just bought a new MacBook Pro and a new crush LaCie 2big 2 series of RAID hard drive to use for Time Machine backup.

  LaCie drive is provided as parameter RAID FAST so I would change to SAFE my back to the top is mirrored. I opened the case of money, that you can see, and then select the options of raid and light is FAST, as well as other RAID options below, followed by CONFIRM.

  I have the lacie in the box tool, PIN, but it does nothing. Nothing happening however hard I put it in the select, I tried a paper clip too. Nothing happens.

  First of all, Firefox and Thunderbird are separate programs. You can use one or the other or both. If you decide to uninstall Firefox, which should not have any ill effect on Thunderbird, but of course, it's a good idea to make the regular backups of your computer in case.

  Second, Internet Explorer uses a Flash owner drive, you don't need another one for Firefox. If you visit Adobe 'about' page using Firefox, you can push the plugin appropriate for you.

  Reinstall El Capitan without erasing the drive

  Make sure that you have a current backup before continuing.

  HD recovery start:

  Restart the computer after the ring, press in and hold the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen to appear.

  Repair

  When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. Disk utility charges and select Macintosh HD entry indented from the list on the left.  Click the first aid tab in the toolbar... If disk utility reports any errors that have been corrected, then re-run first aid until no errors are reported. Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu. Select restart from the Apple menu.

  Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than Wi - Fi and more reliable.
