NVIDIA GeFORCE 9400 M drivers / OpenCL error

Hello

I start getting the following error

Generation of program journal OpenCL: d LOCAL_SIZE_X = 8 - D LOCAL_SIZE_Y = 8 - D SPLIT_STAGE = 1 - D N_STAGES = - 20 d MAX_FACES = 10000 d LBP

fatal ptxas: Assembly Ptx aborted due to errors

What launches an openCV/OpenGL application of mine (which was OK and functioning without errors) and it has been suggested that I double check that my nvidia drivers are not damaged as this seems to be a GPU related issue.

How can I verify the integrity and perhaps re-install these drivers?

(Mac Os X 10.11.3, MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid 2009))

a specific application or several?

the drivers for this model Mac 10.11.3 should be delivered with 10.11.3 install.

If you use the nvidia drivers directly on theNvidia siteyou should know that it has been developed for OS X 10.10 and some of the framework may have changed, as they are not for your card.

You can perform a hardware test if you have the drive of diagnosis provided with your mac, and start it. If you don't have that available you are likely to roll back to a previous instance of an OS while Time Machine (you did one supplied) and can verify the integrity of the GPU in a previous instance of the operating system. Otherwise, if you have a partition of windows or Unix, you can start that (I would avoid virtualize and will direct boot) and update the drivers on the nvidia site for your Mac OS no test here.

    Hello

I upgraded my HP Pavilion dv6000 (6620eb) of Windows 8.

I tried to install the driver for the graphics chip from different sources (official site of hp recovery Vista CD, Windows Update service original 8 & Nvidia official site), but none succeeded.

Mention of Control Panel "graphic driver generic windows" and I am only allowed to use 1024 x 768 resolution.

Is there an official HP or Nvidia driver that works with Windows 8 for this laptop?

    Ty for your answerz :-)

    Hello:

No, it's not a W8 driver that is supported.

You can try this... it works normally.

Download and run the Vista driver to support your laptop and driver page.

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/WC/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-70238-2&CC=US&DLC=en&LC=en&os=2100&Product=3629885&sw_lang=

You should get an error indicating in substance that the operating system is not supported.

Close the error window and go to Device Manager. Click the display of the maps section.

Click on the graphics card of Microsoft Basic. Click on the driver tab, click on set to update driver.

Select the 'Browse my computer for software' and navigate to the installation folder that was created when you ran the above driver.  This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp42635.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and I hope that the driver will be installed.

Upon restart, you should see your nVidia 7150 m installed.

  • NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 code 19 error

    Hello

I am running Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit and have encountered a problem with the graphics drive. There is an exclamation mark next to the NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 in the graphics card and the error message is "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) »

It is up to date and there is no driver to restore. I uninstalled it and upon restarting, Windows successfully installed the driver, but the exclamation mark is still there. It has been suggested that I choose option 2 here to search for the drivers and Graphics Driver 280.26 has been found to install, but it made no difference. I don't know if it's important that I tried to uninstall it once before and selected the 'remove the software for the device option', but who do not select the second time.

When I select 'check for solutions' in Device Manager there are two long files that describe the error. I downloaded here and here.

The only problems is originally so far (or at least I suppose is caused by this because it happened at the same time) is that I can't select 1440 x 900 for a resolution of the screen so my screen is off, and I can put my computer in mode 'sleep'. Sleep is grayed out in the options. Any help is very appreciated. Thank you!

So, after two weeks of multiple uninstalls, reinstall, install clean, destruction of registry, driver, using different drivers sweepers, spend time with the customer of NVIDIA and passing by each troubleshoot I could Google, I removed the HP Portrait display 1.4 update and now all is well. That had been installed AFTER that I started having the problem with NVIDIA so I guess it started as a small bug (the driver for my mouse also stopped working at the same time as the graphics card, but that was a simple fix) that the HP update is impossible to fix.

    Thanks for your help, Paul!

  • Problem NVIDIA GeForce 820 M installation drivers for Windows 7 64 - bit for HP 15 - r022TX

I recently bought a HP laptop 15-022TX (with NVIDIA GeForce 820 M card) from Flipkart. I installed Windows 7 Pro 64 - bit of DreamSpark and downloaded the driver for the card from here.
Now when I run the Setup, it gives the following error:

I walked to the Intel Download Center and use the Intel® driver update utility. But it seems that Internet Explorer crashes whenever I start the utility (tried with Windows 7 Pro 32/64 - bit, Windows 64-bit Pro 8.1).

Now I wanted to determine my Intel graphics driver so here is the output of 'Right click on the desktop'-> 'Screen Resolution'-> advanced settings.

So, how do I know which driver to download from the Intel Download Center? In "Find by category," I looked in "Graphics"-> "Laptop drivers graphic", but none of the drivers listed seems to help.

PS - Ironically, I could find help to install the driver for Ubuntu much faster.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you DerekQ and Paul_Tikkanen for the suggestions. But it seems that I solved my problem. I downloaded SlimDrivers free from download.com and let it scan my laptop. It automatically detected the obsolete VGA driver and downloaded and installed the appropriate Intel HD graphics card driver.

in any case thank you for your support!

  • nVIDIA GeForce Fx 5500 256 MB AGP Graphics Card Drivers for Windows 8 Pro 32-Bit

Hi!, I have motherboard ECS P4M800Pro M2 Ver2.0, 2.2 GHz E4500 processor Intel Core2DUO, DDR2 533 MHz 2 GB RAM hardware with WINDOWS 8 32 Bit operating system. The motherboard has 64 MB S3 UniChrome Pro IGP.

Further to have better graphics during the game, I bought recently NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 256 MB AGP 8 x video card. Since I installed this card, windows has installed its driver game by default "Microsoft generic display drivers" and the quality of the graphics is off nominal. Also the 1366 x 768 resolution widescreen is currently not available. The best resolution I have now is 1024 x 768. In this resolution, the graphics of Windows seems very strange on my LG 19 "widescreen monitor.

I tried to install the graphics card drivers on the NVidia site for the old version of Windows, but the drivers are installed with an error message "Pilot" not Compatible with this Version of Windows.

By default windows drivers has release date older than the drivers supplied on OEM for Windows XP.

Please help me to get the drivers for the AGP card compatible with my Windows 8 Pro.

Or how can I force install the older drivers in Windows 8.

    Hi Amit,

Windows 8 compatibility reports that NVIDIA GeForce FX 5500 graphic card is compatible with Windows 8. Check out the link

You can check if you have downloaded the 64 bit version of the graphics driver rather than 32-bit.  It could be the possibility for this error message.

Or select the option on the Nvidia site to scan your system to find the correct driver?

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx?lang=en-us

If you still receive an error message that the driver is not compatible, then you try to install the driver in compatibility mode.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Program-Compatibility-Assistant-FAQ#1TC=Windows-8

If this does not help, I suggest you check with the NVIDIA support.

  • Update Windows for Vista - NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS driver errors

Update Vista Home Basic 6002:SP2.  Secunia Personal Software Inspector and MS Security Essentials confirm the system software is updated.

Windows Update optional update for NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS on 4/5 and 4/11.  Updates have been declared as 'Successful' but has caused problems of compatibility with the resolution.  (http://winqual.microsoft.com/support/?driverid=20418057) More details below.

HW - Dell 530 with GeForce 8400 GS with BIOS 62.98.71.0.5 - 512 MB of memory dedicated - 767 MB shared memory.

CRT is detected as driver MS running generic PnP 6.0.6001.18000.  The display is an AMW CM1722PF 17 "CRT with a preferred resolution of the 1024x768x70Hz.  (IIRC, MS drivers for Intel 8031 correctly detected VGA display modes, rather than generic report.)

On both NVIDIA driver update attempts, Windows Update reports the success and I rebooted (despite the lack of obligation to restart).  Display was OK on the screen connection, but limited to 640 x 480 on desktop after login.  Edges of the Office had fallen.

In addition, Panel-> NVIDIA Control Panel translates "the NVIDIA Display Panel Extension cannot be created... Possible reasons include the incorrect version.  Reinstall display drivers can fix this problem. »

After the failure of 4/5, I uninstalled Windows Update display drivers and reinstalled on reboot.  Got the NVIDIA Display Panel and appropriate video modes.  Everything was going well until we repeated this Windows Update NVIDIA driver update fiasco 4/11.

Have not repeated the manual Reinstall driver this time, I'm puzzled why Windows Update can't get this right.    This is a very common piece of hardware and you would think that there is regression tests for driver updates.

This makes me wary of Windows Update.  Suggestions?

    Hello

I posted an incorrect link, changed now.

    http://www.AddictiveTips.com/Windows-tips/disable-Windows-Update-device-driver-search-prompt/

The TechNet post link also has the same information.

Or here - manually on a single computer

    http://TechNet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc730606 (WS.10) .aspx

Those who work in many cases, I've tried. If you have a current Windows
Update that tries to update a driver, then right-click on it in Windows
Updates and HIDE. There should be no other available.

    I hope this helps.

First, HP must provide more drivers for Windows XP.  You must face the fact that the failure of Vista and everyone is switch it on XP.  Any computer expert will tell you that Vista is a piece of * beep * which should never have been released.
