NVIDIA iMac cards
I can't get a clear answer on this.
I want to know if the new maps graphics on the iMac of 2013 compatible CUDA.
There are two options:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M
Are on the Premiere Pro Tech Specs Page:
Adobe first Pro CC for Mac, Windows, PC - Tech sheet
However a quick conversation with cat says anything over 1 GB vram is?
Thanks for the idea.
Hi Rtb_adobe,
Although not officially supported, you can use these video cards for the Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration. See this blog: Adobe first Pro CC and GPU support
Thank you

Qosmio X 870-112 3D - Nvidia graphics card DIED
I bought the Toshiba Qosmio 2 years and after using it only for work
I decided to take advantage of its potential for the game. I installed an old game of 2006, and after 10 days, the video card is dead. I have my own electronics laboratory, I opened the computer, clean, replace the dough thermoconductrice and monitored electronic temperature thermocouples professional.
There is no problem of overheating, but the video card is dead, it must be replaced. "A very common problem, unfortunately the NVIDIA video cards, requiring a GPU reballing or complete replacement."
Where can I find the replacement of a video card? Anyone know who to contact?
Toshiba has disappointed me, I paid 2,500 euros for this computer with its hard disk and the ram upgrade and after 2 years is no longer a value of what it is.This question is very unfortunate and I understand you very well.
I think it was simply bad luck that this problem occurred after the expiration of the warranty. But in my opinion a hardware malfunction can still happen and it doesn t depend on model laptop or notebook computer from the manufacturer.
In case of malfunctioning of the equipment, the Toshiba certified maintainer is the first contact point if it comes to fix the laptop or to order new parts.
But the new GPU or motherboard can be a very costly affair and I recommend asking for the estimation of costs.

Qosmio G30 - nVidia graphics card failure
Hello
as the title says my graphics card went kaput on Qosmio G30, who is 14 months old.
I read in some places that could be the problem with the generation of nvidia graphics cards.
Does anyone have any info on this subject because I have just quoted entre.6 and 1.8 k for what fixed it.
This graphics card is separate from the motherboard or this prob will result in a new motherboard. If anyone has any info I would be very grateful, thank you, thomasPS for some reason that I could not connect with my username (yetchh) original so had to create a new account, have no idea why?

Hi Thomas
That s a pity :(
Especially the GPU (graphics chip) is attached to the motherboard. He welded s and replacement is not easy. There are several Lepidoptera, I called the ASP in my country because I needed some info on replacing the CPU on my old laptop and the guy said that the replacement of the CPU or GPU is not easy and is not possible.
Well, what to say I think you should contact the authorized service provider in your country for replacement of equipment.
But I wonder why you come in on costs?
The laptop is about 14 months. If you have registered your laptop on the Toshiba page, you should get a 2 year warranty which should focus on the laptop. So all pieces of equipment should be replaced for free.

HP Pavilion a1640n: install a new nVidia video card
I just bought a GeForce 9400 GT from nVidia video card to upgrade my HP Pavilion a1640n running Windows XP SP3. The a1640n has integrated the video and says nVidia user guides: "If your motherboard has integrated video card integrated, you may need to disable first, please contact your system or motherboard manufacturer."
My questions: do I have to first disable the integrated graphics subsystem? If so, how? Are there jumpers on the motherboard or the I disable in BIOS or in Windows Device Manager or...?
Thanks in advance!
Hello:
There is no video settings to change in the BIOS normally on the HP PC. There are no riders to pass.
What you want to do is to first uninstall the drivers of your graphics integrated in the Device Manager. Just right click on the match video and select uninstall.
Do not restart the computer. Instead, stop it and install your new video card. Re-turn on your PC. Your new video card should be detected automatically and your integrated graphics should be disabled automatically.
Don't forget to move your video cable on the new map.
If you purchased a card with HDMI output, your integrated sound card will probably disabled in favor of audio HD integrated on the video card.
Don't worry there. Go into your BIOS if your sound is turned off and change your audio settings embedded auto to "Enabled". Save the setting it by hitting the F10 key and there still when you go out.
Your integrated sound card should be back, and you'll also audio HDMI when you need.

NVIDIA graphics card does not work on T430S with Windows 8
My T430S laptop running Windows 8 and has a NVIDIA graphics card. Somehow, I could never get into the control panel NVIDIA and received the error message below. I checked the setting in the BIOS and it seems that NIVDIA Optimus mode is not available on Windows 8. I've updated the latest driver published in February 2013 for Lenovo, but it does not solve the problem. I was wondering how I could use the NVIDIA card on my compueter.

Hi, jumper1127
Also there is a BIOS update available for your machine that came out at the same time as the pilot of the Optimus. Which can be found here and can help your problem.
Good luck. Let me know how it goes

update errors, nvidia graphics card.
Hello, I have a problem that I can not update my nvidia graphics card, I saw a post here and tried to re install but it says "graphics card cannot find compatible graphics hardware" and if I try to open the nvidia Control Panel it says "a NVIDIA graphics card has not detected in your system". In Device Manager it shows GT 630 M and 650 M, tried to download two nvidia drivers, but still get this error message.
PS my cell phone is samsung NP550P5C-A02UK and I tried to download the drivers from the Samsung support for my laptop Web site still nothing.
Hello
Thanks for the reply and sorry for the inconvenience caused.
After looking at the error code, we can get to two conclusions:
- Graphics card problem.
- The problem with the graphics drivers.
I suggest to uninstall the current drivers from Device Manager first, learn more about how to remove devices from Device Manager please visit the link below:
Once the device is uninstalled, restart the computer.
Windows will load the base drivers and check if it helps.
Please keep us updated to help you better.

can I replace quadro4000m with nvidia gtx 690 z1 nvidia graphics card hp all-in-one
All Z1 in a HP workstation
can I replace nvidia graphics card quadro4000m with nvidia gtx hp 690 z1 all-in-one for better graphics performance?
Hello
The 690 NVIDIA is only a 'chimera' at the moment. We'll see what happens after the rumor launched as of April 28.
Open the Z1 HP if you have a look at available power connectors and also note the size of the power supply. The Z800 with 875 watt POWER supply can operate according to the available power connectors.

CS6 Production Premium supports AMD graphics cards? Specifically over-pants M6100. If so, all the features work with the M6100, or are there features that work only with nVidia video cards?
CS6 does support OpenCL and OpenGL?
Are all features that CS6 supports for NVidia Cuda available for the M6100 OpenCL?
Bill supposed to first Pro CC (not CS6) response. Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version does not support OpenCL for accelerating GPU of MPE. Therefore, there is no "opencl_supported_cards.txt" file in the folder of Premiere Pro, and the code to OpenCL is disabled permanently in all versions of Windows from Premiere Pro CS6. So, for your over-pants M6100 Premiere Pro CS6 will be permanently locked to only software MPE mode. (Acceleration GPU of MSES in the Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version is limited to the CUDA only, which means that only NVIDIA for GPU - no AMD over-pants or GPU Radeon support CUDA at all.)

I can't find a compatible Nvidia graphics card and monitor system of the body/Neo3D 3D
Adobe first Pro CS5.5 / specification tecniques (http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html) lists the graphics cards that can be used to accelerate video editing. I want to set up a system similar to what Dave Helmly is described (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aqi_qivG82c) with a computer 3D monitor and 3D TV secondary screen. However, the 3D monitors that I saw as an Asus (http://usa.asus.com/Display/LCD_Monitors/VG236H/#overview) indicate graphics cards Nvidia that no overlap with those specified on the website of the organization. Also, I found no towers locally that come with an appropriate Nvidia card. I found some that have a free PCIe slot. I need two cards in any case; However, the graphics card that comes with some of these machines specifies a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600.
Here are my questions:
(1) what Nvidia graphics cards are both supported by the Organization and support of 3D monitors? I'm looking on the bad feedback? The Alienware site does not specify which graphics cards are compatible.
(2) if the integrated video card has a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1600, does mean that if I want resolution 1920 x 1080 for each of the two eyes I need format (output HDMI to 3D TV) alternate-frame sequencing?I have not bought equipment yet, I am looking for options that work. Thanks for your help.
Hi Dennis, you need one of the Quadro graphics cards to do what you want (use the Nvidia 3D output). GTX cards will be released to a secondary 3D display, but only side by side and more to the title. I have a GTX 480 which I use with the body and Neo, main monitor is 2560 x 1600 (non - 3D), my secondary monitor is a Sony 32 "3D TV on which I discovered 3D since the timeline and FirstLight mode side by side. To be honest, I change and cut in 2d mode and really only use the monitor 3d for the color calibration (which is different for 3D 2D because of the need to reduce areas of contrast high which cause ghost images) and for the z depth of positioning for the composition and titles.

Engine Mercury works only with NVidia Quadro cards?
Fellow Forum members,
Prices for NVidia Quadro cards are INCREDIBLY expensive. Finally, I checked the prices were as shown below:
Quadro 6000 = $4,000
Quadro 5000 = $1,800
Quadro 4000 = $1,000
My question to someone there is '' done the Mercury Motors CS5 for After Effects and Premiere Pro exclusively work onlly with Nvidia Quadro series cards? ''
If the answer to my question is NO, then I would that this thread can be dedicated to the sharing of alternative solutions for graphics cards that will not burst his portfolio.
My motherboard supports technology ATI CrossFireX Quad, 3 - Way CrossFireX and CrossFireX and NVIDIA Quad SLI, 3 - Way SLI, and SLI technology.
My way of thinking, that's if I could use two or three ATI cards bridged together to match 80% of the performance of Quadro 6000 at a fraction of the cost, I'd be happy. However, the bump in the road is if the motor Mercury of CS5 is compatible with bridged ATI graphics cards together? Motor Mercury of CS5 cares what type of graphics resident cards into the motherboard in order to deliver 100% of the performance? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hello
In addition, CS5 does not use SLI technology
It uses only 1 graphics card
This thread explains some good stuff
http://forums.Adobe.com/message/2791699
information seems accurate
hope this helps

NVIDIA video card do not have FireFox, other browsers are ok.
I went from an ATI video card Nvidia GeForce GT620 card yesterday and now when I use Firefox, when I scroll or when the browser load or 'think', the speakers make a cracking noise when music plays. If I pause Windows Media Player or the Zune software and scroll I don't hear any sound but as soon as the music plays and then scroll, its all crackle-y.
The problem does not occur in Chrome or IE 11, only firefox I'm running Windows 7 32 bit.
I just discovered that scroll in Outlook also makes noise if its not just Mozilla FireFox.
