NVIDIA video card do not have FireFox, other browsers are ok.

I went from an ATI video card Nvidia GeForce GT620 card yesterday and now when I use Firefox, when I scroll or when the browser load or 'think', the speakers make a cracking noise when music plays. If I pause Windows Media Player or the Zune software and scroll I don't hear any sound but as soon as the music plays and then scroll, its all crackle-y.

The problem does not occur in Chrome or IE 11, only firefox I'm running Windows 7 32 bit.

I just discovered that scroll in Outlook also makes noise if its not just Mozilla FireFox.

  • Certain websites in Firefox do not display correctly, other browsers are fine.

Hi, for about a week my wife had problems loading certain websites. When she goes to Twitter or Pinterest example site will appear very basic with everything aligned to the left. However, everything works perfectly with other browsers like IE and Chrome. I've been watching people with similar problems and tried what worked for them, but nothing helps.

So far, we tried: clear the cache and cookies, performed a reinstall full Firefox while ensuring to remove records of Mozilla remains in Program Files and %APPDATA%\microsoft\windows\sendto thus, restart the modem/router, by doing an ipconfig/flushdns and finally to top it all the computer restarts.

Absolutely nothing has worked so far.

Update: it solved the problem. Oddly enough changing the date on the computer has solved the problem. Why is this?

  • Used the update and now the video card is not recognized

I updated updater manual update and have not updated anything since early December, 01/30/10 I installed the 5 important updates that were listed, I don't remember who they were, after installing the computer needed to restart and after the recovery, the video card is no longer recognized.  I get the BIOS beep code for no video card or bad video memory.  I know that this seems to be a hardware problem, but this computer worked fine until these updates. Now that the video card is not recognized, I can't even get into the BIOS, and still less actually starting windows. Any help/ideas what caused this and how can I fix this are greatly appreciated, thank you very much. Even a list of the latest important updates might be useful, I can't seem to find a list of anywhere.

Palit-card nVidia GeForce 9600 GT graphics card

Oh and I took out that graphic card and put in a different one, nVidia PNY GeForce 7900 GS and always get the same error code. I also disconnected and removed the battery from the motherboard to reset the BIOS, still the same problem.

    Hi JohnyDick,

This problem seems to be due to the updates of Windows, although it could be a coincidence.
I first you recommend to remove the nVIDIA graphic card and connect the monitor to the onboard graphics card, then try to start the computer.

If the problem persists then I recommend you to contact the computer manufacturer for assistance.

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Pavilion a1640n: install a new nVidia video card

I just bought a GeForce 9400 GT from nVidia video card to upgrade my HP Pavilion a1640n running Windows XP SP3.  The a1640n has integrated the video and says nVidia user guides: "If your motherboard has integrated video card integrated, you may need to disable first, please contact your system or motherboard manufacturer."

My questions: do I have to first disable the integrated graphics subsystem?  If so, how?  Are there jumpers on the motherboard or the I disable in BIOS or in Windows Device Manager or...?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello:

There is no video settings to change in the BIOS normally on the HP PC. There are no riders to pass.

What you want to do is to first uninstall the drivers of your graphics integrated in the Device Manager. Just right click on the match video and select uninstall.

Do not restart the computer. Instead, stop it and install your new video card. Re-turn on your PC. Your new video card should be detected automatically and your integrated graphics should be disabled automatically.

Don't forget to move your video cable on the new map.

If you purchased a card with HDMI output, your integrated sound card will probably disabled in favor of audio HD integrated on the video card.

Don't worry there. Go into your BIOS if your sound is turned off and change your audio settings embedded auto to "Enabled". Save the setting it by hitting the F10 key and there still when you go out.

Your integrated sound card should be back, and you'll also audio HDMI when you need.

    Hello Ann42633,

If you have not changed the video card that you purchased your computer, you can visit the Dell Web site and use the service tag to determine the video card.

In addition, you can locate the type of video card you have by the following text:

    -Click Start

-Type Device Manager into the start menu search box, press enter

    -Develop graphics cards

You must also obtain the appropriate driver from the Dell Web site and update your video card.

    Hope this helps

  • installed pes 2013 on laptop when you select game get error message "video card does not meet the required specifications (GPU:VRAM 128 MB)" can anyone help?

installed pes 2013 on laptop when you select game get error message "video card does not meet the required specifications (GPU:VRAM 128 MB)" can anyone help?

This means what he says.  You do not have the minimum required VRAM.
The minimum specs for the game is listed as 128 MB of VRAM, but is supposed to work
on the graphics card integrated Intel 2000/3000.
The amount of VIDEO memory dedicated on laptops is apparently determined by the FAB of the laptop.

Without knowing which laptop, or if it is one that has a dedicated graphics card, I guess that your laptop uses integrated graphics that devotes too little of VRAM (64 MB?),
If it does not the minimum requirement of 128 MB of VRAM.

  • Dedicated video card does not work

I just bought a HP 200-2d03SQ laptop and install Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit), and unfortuantely the laptop does not recognize the dedicated video card from AMD. When I install the driver for the video card, first of all, it detects I have the AMD Radeon HD 6400 when in fact I have the Radeaon AMD 7450 m HD and then when I install the driver, it is not recognized. In the center of comand, it indicates an error.

Could you please help me? the video card does not recognize the video card only for Windows 8?

CS6 Production Premium supports AMD graphics cards? Specifically over-pants M6100. If so, all the features work with the M6100, or are there features that work only with nVidia video cards?

CS6 does support OpenCL and OpenGL?

Are all features that CS6 supports for NVidia Cuda available for the M6100 OpenCL?

Bill supposed to first Pro CC (not CS6) response. Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version does not support OpenCL for accelerating GPU of MPE. Therefore, there is no "opencl_supported_cards.txt" file in the folder of Premiere Pro, and the code to OpenCL is disabled permanently in all versions of Windows from Premiere Pro CS6. So, for your over-pants M6100 Premiere Pro CS6 will be permanently locked to only software MPE mode. (Acceleration GPU of MSES in the Windows of Premiere Pro CS6 version is limited to the CUDA only, which means that only NVIDIA for GPU - no AMD over-pants or GPU Radeon support CUDA at all.)

-The 'legacy' drivers are not technically a restore because there was
never a movement forward to Win7.
They are only a newer version and probably the last, the pilot who was provided for
Some older cards on older (legacy) systems.

  • Graphics card Radeon laptop on platform Windows 8 crashes when you watch videos in Firefox. Problem does not replicate on other browsers. Is there a solution?

I have a 4540 of Hp ProBook with a Radeon 7 x chip video integrated of series, platform Windows 8.1. When I watch videos with the browser Firefox video adapter fails and the computer sometimes freezes. If I watch videos with another browser I don't have a problem. I went to HP and have downloaded the latest drivers from AMD but still no will. So far, the only solution is to not use Firefox when watching video clips. In short, I don't know what direction to go, and since the problem seems to be specific with Firefox, I thought I would draw your attention to the problem.

Some additional info... If I bypass the Radeon chip, i.e. use the alternate Intel video chip, I don't have a problem. It said the native PC with Windows 7 pro with the upgrade software and the key of Windows 8. In any case when 7 was installed there where no problems with the playback of videos in Firefox. Installing Windows 8 was installed a clean place, not an upgrade...

    Thank you

I forgot a second hardware acceleration setting, which is changed in Flash itself. See this article from Adobe technical support: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html#main_Solve_video_playback_issues

  • Video card will not be installed properly

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion a6120n. I am installing a Radion HD 5450 video card (see links below for pc and a video card). I improved my diet to a LSP Ultra 750w and disabled the on-board graphics. However, regardless of the manner in which I try to install the Videocard (when running the pc or not), and reboot, my monitor says 'No Signal detected'. When I try to install the software for the video card from the CD, it goes through the complete installation process and says it's full, however, the file never appears in the folder it is supposed to. Basically, whenever the new video card is attached to the motherboard, the PC doesn't like it and I have no display.

My BIOS version is 20/04/07. Can I change the video setting [PCI] or [on board] but nothing more than that, such as PCIE. Y at - it a new version of BIOS that I have not found?

Should I look at a different video card?  It's a not compatible for some reason any?

    Any ideas here? I'm puzzled.

Thanks a lot for your help.  Happy HP for this.

    Well... Good and bad news.

First of all, the bad news: after much searching through these forums I found a post of 2007, States that there are problems with the Radeion HD series graphics cards the user had the same problems I have and he wasn't able to use the card.  So although the specifications look like they work, the motherboard just don't like this series.

The good news: I picked up a Nvidia GeForce GT 610 with essentially the same characteristics and plugged in today and I'm happy to say that it installed without any problems.  Apparantely, my motherboard is biased!

Thus, everything works now and I'm happy with the Setup program.  I can't wait to test it more, but I wanted to make sure I sent my thanks for your support and the support of the other person as well.  I appreciate that you took the time to help me.  Bravo!

  • Installation for the new video card will not work. Message "Hardware not detected" what's the problem?

Windows XP Home Edition. Motherboard ASUS P4PE. (Old) NVIDIA geforce4 TI 4400 failed - video card replaced by Prowler Radeon 7000 64 MB agp (Mad Dog). The black screen with the old card and bought a new one. At out the old card and installed a new.  Start the computer and graphics were. With Nvidia drivers installed, display settings could be changed. Device, 'Monitor' Manager showed now default monitor instead of good Sony monitor. Remove all drivers video and rebooted.  Screen "new hardware found" appeared, but I couldn't get the new drivers loaded. I inserted the disc by the manufacturer, but the pilots has not can be detected. Has attempted to launch "Setup" on the disc, but received a material not found error message. Yellow mark points to "Other devices" and the hyphen "VGA Display adapters". No 'monitor' in Device Manager. Tried to turn off the windows firewall and Virus software. I tried windows update. Still have a problem. What's wrong?

The old drivers must remove the first test pilot seeper guru3d.

The nvidia Setup program should find the material but otherwise download the latest version of the software from their Web site.  They must be the pilot, right down to the revision number, not only the model number.
