• Merge two csv files both with the same columns

  Hi all

  I have two csv files (attached) both with the same DS column headings that I seek to merge into a csv file. I am struggling to find a way to do it.

  The two files are already sorted by DS but have additional info not required in the column of the DS. What I need is a cmdlet that will read each column DS each csv, correspond to lines and combine in a csv file.

  Any help, advice, much appreciated.

  If you want just to sort the rows and not change them, then you can do something like this:

  What happens if a line in the entry has no 2 ' _?

  I want to join line A to line B.

  Whenever I select the two ends, I want to join, then click on Ctrl-J, I get this:

  

  Lines A, B and C all joined them.

  I think that for some reason (or not), line A is connected to the lower end of the B line (no connection to the top and C is not involved).

  You can try to:

  (1) lock line C,

  (2) with the tool pen, click on the anchor of the B line at the bottom, and then lock the line B

  (3) with the pen tool, click on the anchor of the line down, then unlock the lines B and C;

  (4) are trying to join the line A and line B again.

  Failing, or instead, try the list:

  Sometimes, (some) things may fail or stop working for no apparent reason. When (other) possible reasons/remedies do not work, it is perhaps a kind corruption (temporary or permanent), or even preference settings which disturbs, which can be cured with something on the following list put in place in order to provide a catch-all solution for otherwise intractable cases. It starts with a few easy suggestions and safe) 1 and 2) for cases less serious and goes two ways 3) and 4) to reset the default preferences (easily but irreversibly and more laboriously but more completely and also reversible), then follows a list 5) various other possibilities, and it ends with a complete reinstallation 6).   How can I change the order of pages / print order of artboards in Illustrator CS6? I know that it was negligence in this regard griped in previous versions, once work plans have been introduced, but surely, it's been fixed now. It is only fair that I can't understand how do. It is not intuitive by any means.

  Open the Panel work plans (in the window menu) and drag work here plans to change the order. When the work plan tool is the current tool, selection of a plan of work in the work plans Panel will highlight the workplan in the workspace.  The first column in the work plans Panel indicates a number representing the page / print order. The second column is the name given by the Illustrator which you can change in the Control Panel, while the artboard tool is selected.

  Some time ago I wrote a vi file that performs the following operations:

  As a first step, it initializes a camera and chooses a region of interest (ROI). Data on the return on investment will be eliminated.

  I try to export photos from a wedding.  I put all the pictures in the order I want to burn it to a cd but when I export them they are all out of order.  The pictures come from different cameras, iphones etc that I gathered the family members.  It seems that export is to put all the pictures of different cameras used together.

  When you export unless rename you them, they use to existing file name and are at the mercy of the way in which the operating system displays! The surefire way is only rename them with the same file name and followed by a sequence number in the order you have them in LR!

  However as stated above, exported once, I think, in the end always depends on the sort by / view options of the operating system!

• Adobe story does not lines of dialogue that are amrked with (CONT'd) in a CSV export.

  For some reason any Adobe story does not export the lines of dialogue that are marked with (CONT'd) in a csv file. The rest of the dialogue exports very well, little bits that are marked with (CONT'd) are not displayed in the dialog column!. It can be changed with some settings or is this a bug? The script was imported from a file FDX. If anyone has a solution for this, please let me know.

  It is indeed a bug.

  Just to get the correct data in csv, a workaround for this problem would be to replace the word "suite" with a door-place Word, perform an export to csv and then change it back.

  1. press Ctrl + F in the script to open find/replace

  2. replace the word "Suite" with a placeholder Word, say "TEMPCONTD".

  3. the export to csv format script

  4. now replace the word placeholder with 'Suite '.

  Go to the view Options when you select Narrative View or PivotTable dynamic in that you can see a filter, simply click and export the results to excel it will work under the screen shot for your reference.

  If you export as XML instead, it should work because it uses UTF - 8.

• How to maintain the order of the user when exporting a collection?

  I had a collection of about 300 s VC, selected from among the many issues in my catalog. These images were taken over a period of 10 years, using 3 different cameras that have different names and types of files. The collection has been sorted by 'user '. I have spent a lot of time to organize the collection of so that images makes sense Visual when shown as a slide show on a digital album.

  I exported the collection on my hard drive as a JPEG and checked the box to put in my catalog, in a subfolder named within my parent folder. Everything is going well except that they are now completely out of use, and this order has no logical sense whatsoever - no date, metadata, filename, attribute, nothing from what I can understand. I have to start all over again to reorganize in - something that can take several hours.

  What I've done wrong? How can I keep my designated user order when I export a collection?

  I use LR 4.3.

  The simplest way is really very simple - Rob mentioned, but just in case you missed it...  All you have to do is Rename on export, adding a number of sequence at the beginning of the file name.  For example, use a name change template to make the Filename sequence.  Then ALL programs, not only LR, see them in the order you intended.  I have just remove this last export and export again with the requested name change, as it will take much less time.
