OBIEE 11.1.1.9 missing link administration in analytics

Hello

I did OBIEE repository/catalogue 10g upgrade to 11.1.1.9. It lacks the user WebLogic Administration link and another user with privileges of BI.

I can create/edit/analytical reports, run dashboard reports. I am using 10g style authentication and applying roles of a table using initialization block.

This does not work as expected. I can see Administrator role BI under my account-> roles and groups of catalog. Same worked well when the upgrade to 11.1.1.7.

If the link was missing in 11g 7, I tried analytics/saw.dll? ManageGroups URL, it worked. Now, if I try the same thing in 11g 9 I get error "unauthorized".

I tried to create the same administrator user as in 10 g with the BI Administrator role. Did not work.

I gave BI administrator rights in role to the catalog in Catalog Manager also including presentation Service Admin who was by default.

Please can anyone suggest what else can be done. Appreciate your time and assistance.

Thank you

Sudhir

    Nice day! I accidentally deleted icloud / photostream links in the "Favorites" in the Explorer section - and there is no way to recover them. I often use these links (well, have used - now, I don't have them) and it would be nice if someone could help me in my quest. Thank you!

    Good afternoon, zhker -.

    I understand that you are missing links to iCloud and photo stream on your computer Windows 10.   If you have not already done so, try to download iCloud for Windows to see if that solves the problem.

    Try view > display performance > high quality display

    Check also that the effective PPI of the image shows in your links Panel.

  • Remove the missing link of file-word (text) link

    I'm working on a former Indesign file that has the Word documents that are related to it. The links are missing, but the text takes the form of editable text so it has not lost.

    Can I copy and paste into a new text frame to solve the problem of the missing link.
    But it's a lot of work for a whole book. It would be perfect if I could break the link the Word of my frames of text file, but this option does not appear.

    I found 2-7 years old questions on the Adobe forums no useful response.

    Can someone help me with this?

    Thank you!

    "Ungroup" should be available in the context menu, if you click on the link in the links Panel.

    Since my German InDesign:

    Hope, that helps.

  • CS6: reports of the missing links, but when I check the links all is good

    Whenever I open this certain InDesign file, it says links are missing. But then I go to control panel links and utilities > search for missing links. No problem found. But then, when I go to package the file, I get the message of missing links again. Help please.

    Maybe something like a linked image in a .ai file related.

    Check upstream instead.

  • List of paths of missing link

    Bit hard to explain, but my goal is to make a script to essentially check the current open document for missing links and then retrieve the (former) paths for any list found there (so part of this path can be copy & pasted by the user into a tool of recovery of the Archives of works of ancient art)

    Perhaps you could paste in a list in a box on the editing table, or individual boxes of yellow next to each missing link, but I don't know how can I retrieve the path to use anywhere, it would be even possible?

    That's how i've got.

    If (link.status is LinkStatus.LINK_MISSING)

    If (link.status == LinkStatus.LINK_MISSING) {}

    Alert (link.filePath);

    }

    (this is to make a step forward)

  • Missing link on the PB

    Whenever I open a document created by another person, based on a model she inherited, the missing links, dialog box appears indicating an image on the PB is no longer tied. I have tried everything I can think of expand PB and looking image, but nothing helped. Even looking at the image, it is not an image, I recognize any publication created from this original model. Any ideas? Is there a way to simply remove the picture in the window?

    Are all visible layers and have you looked on the master page?

  • Link Administration locked out

    Hi gurus,

    When I use my credentials for the administrator or the weblogic original titles, it still saves Administration (which behaves like a BIConsumer role) unrelated. This is urgent. Could someone help me?

  • My indesign won't open 3 missing links

    I was open a file that was created before and there were a few missing links, about 16. I tried to recreate a link to them and it worked without any problems, except for the 3 files.

    When I try to recreate a link to these files (they are jpg and 1 pdf file) Indesign gives me the following error:

    Either the file does not exist, you may not, or the file may be in use by another application.

    I checked and it is not open somewhere else, the file exist and I checked the permission which seemed correct settings...

    Also tried to re-record the files under a different name, placed on my desk, made a copy. nothing has worked.

    If someone know a solution I would be very grateful!

    You can open images in an external editor?

    If they are jpeg or png or gif - save as tiff

    If they are tiff - save as psd

    If they are psd - save as tiff

    Or another file format let us know.

    Try to place the newly stored images then.

  • Remove all the missing links with frames

    How can I make a script to remove all the missing links with frames in indesign?

    var doc = app.activeDocument;
    Links var = doc.links;

    for (var i = links.length - 1; i > = 0; i--) {}
    If (links [i] .status == LinkStatus.LINK_MISSING) {}
    try {}
    Links [i] .parent. Remove();
    var image = link.parent;
    var frame = image.parent;
    Frame.Remove ();
    counter ++;

    }
    {} catch (err)
    $.writeln (i + "-" + err);
    }
    }
    }

    I have try this script, but still remain a framework, what is wrong with that?

    It works for me:

    var link, image, frame,
    doc = app.activeDocument,
    links = doc.links,
    counter = 0;

    for (var i = links.length-1; i >= 0; i--) {
        if (links[i].status == LinkStatus.LINK_MISSING) {
            try {
                link = links[i];
                image = link.parent;
                frame = image.parent;
                frame.remove();
                counter++;
            }
            catch (err) {
                $.writeln(i + " - " + err);
            }
        }
    }

  • Missing links CS5/Win 7

    I replaced my XP PC and copied all documents, pictures etc on my new Windows 7 machine. My problem is that all of the InDesign CS5 files created previously now have missing links. Is there a work around or do I go through each document and solve the problem of the missing link, a link at the same time?

    Bob

    The packaging is certainly the best solution. Better yet would be packaging to a shared network drive or an external hard drive that can be put back on the new computer.  Better yet, if you have access to a network, both computers to network together and share a folder so that you can package directly to the new computer from the old computer.

    The only other way I can think of to make sure that you do not lose the links is to make sure that the binding paths are completely identical from one computer to another, which is difficult when you switch operating systems. But I always recommend packing files, especially when you are finished with them. It encapsulates all your work files in a folder that contains everything you need to edit the file in the future - even if you move and have to re-bind the links.

  • Missing links in InDesign Cs4

    SO I read around this forum and have not found the answer I'm looking for.

    I'm not very familiar with InDesign. Ultimatly someone made a Web page for us and I want to be able to transfer it to Dreamweaver... which I am very familiar with.

    I have already designed file. All the files are on the local computer.

    When I open the file, it comes to getting the error message:

    untitled.JPG

    This Document contains 19 missing links to sources that are missing. You can find or reedit the missing links using the links Panel.

    My question is this:

    (1) is there a way to identify which links are missing?

    (2) where the links Panel in the menu bar?

    Thanks for your help and your Patience.

    I have to admit, I'm very much a frame with InDesign

    The names of the missing links appears in the links Panel, you will find by window > links.

    If you really do not have the files, you will need to select in the links Panel and repeat, leader ID to the correct location.

  • Missing links after a Malware attack

    XP Pro, IE8, OE6

    My old father-in-law of 94 is suspected of by clicking on a link in an email from "Solutions from PC" he received as bait the reader with 'If you can't read this email, click here', followed by the Pandemonium, then ends by "we can fix your computer for $79, just click here.  Fortunately, it has not executed this last step ($$). It won't just admit it. In any case...

    MSE has completely failed me. I've since returned to Malwarebytes online malware protection. So to make a long story short... the office photo disappeared (only in blue BSOD), programs in the start folder Menu was completely empty (but because the programs were all still there in Program Files), administration tools and accessories were empty and the system restore didn't work. The malware "System Check" was bad. Malwarebytes would not work. I scanned with MSE and cleaned up the bad guys (AFTER infection :-(), deleted and reinstalled Malwarebytes and it ran, but the damage was done. I ran SDFix and it was clean and then displayed. Bringing more hidden links, but not all. System Restore worked now but I had to fire through the window RUN (no links anywhere). But the old restore files have apparently been corrupted and none would complement a restore (get about 1/2 way on the progress bar, then quickly complete 100% restart and then "unable to finish restoration".  Internet has never stopped working, if it's not the kicker. First time I had seen that happen with a coup of malware. Usually, at least a proxy is checked, if not a winsock problem.

    Everything works now, but I'm missing a bunch of links again and I was wondering how to recover them, short of a repair installation. Adminstrative Tools is empty, both record programs and in the control panel. Many start/program Menu folders are still empty, entertainment is empty, Sytem Tools contains only the IE link (no add-on), and root C contains three records of recycler (recycler, recycle (2) and Recyler (3).) I don't know what these are, but they each contain a couple of folders that contain application files names you see in the registry as "S23984q32098u3948234" - I made this one.

    Could / should I copy the links from my computer (both XP Pro) and hope this works if their paths are the same? Are there certain keys regsitry that I need to change/remove?

    Any suggestion would be great. Thank you
