  A update the JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS to 2048 m in the oraparam.ini file.

  Restart the OBIEE Configuration using config.bat file

  I was installing OBIEE 11.1.1.7 on windows XP 32-bit, but keep getting error when I specify the BIPLATFORM schema, which is a search for the address for this machine returns the IP address instead of the host name. Anyone know what could be the problem?

  I have a problem in OBIEE 11.1.1.6
  
  I have a report where project is a filter that is, in which the condition.
  
  Now, I have a project not as ' ERP - HR STD and 2012. " Now this is not error getting data on. In OBIEE, whenever she see any & sign in the project number filter, it returns error. Now when I run the sql (obtaining of the journal nqsquery) query in PL/SQL developer or Toad, I get the correct result, data display.
  
  If some & or % sign appears in the filter data, OBI could not able to execute the query

  You must use the physical name of the Tables and columns. In the model every time that the position of the column as @1 or @2, you give this order should as in report.

  Ex: update DIM_CUSTOMER SET CUSTOMER_PHONE='@2' WHERE CUSTOMER_NAME='@1'
  In the report Column1 must match the name and Coumn2 should be the phone.

  These problems occur when the wsm - am application does not work. To resolve this issue, connect to EM-> applications-> internal Applications deployment. The two applications wsm - am on AdminServer and managed server must be running.

  You mustn't do something extra to have 'EM running in the instance of 11 g OBI. Although it is a deployed JEE application, if your server Weblogic (WLS) is launched and up and running then your Console EM should also be running.

  You say you do all that command line. Then, start the Weblogic Server, then go to http://< your="" server="" name=""> : 7001/console

  So which rises, will

  http://: 7001/em

  That's your Console of Fusion EM and it should come as well.

  Don't mess with the XML file directly.

  I have read carefully the documentation 12 c read this:

  "In the rare cases where the writeback templates files need to be language-dependent (for example, if a user logged in using the local (Spanish) l_es would use a different SQL command, a user connected using parameters regional l_fr (French)), then the writeback model files must exist in the appropriate language directories.

  Save nqquery.log which connection pool is used to send the query to the DB. Then check the configuration of the Connection Pool to see what user credentials are used to connect to the database, to which database (DSN), and if the table owner prefix is added to the SQL.

  I found the solution for the connection failed in RPD (reposiotry)

  The database connected all services to be cuddly but RPD can not able to see the data error occurred and obiee also offline database error has occurred.

  We have imported Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS) by using XMLA RPD Cube.  While using the drill down one-touch in BI answers using hierarchies of presentation, OBIEE generates the following error

  However, drill down one-touch works very well with the attribute columns. Alsoit stand is works well up to certain level of zoom. In the journal, it is obvious that OBIEE generates multiple physical queries (with clause) to extract the data in the cube.

  Is there a limit on the size of the mdx or number of mdx queries that msmdpump.dll can treat?  Is there any configuration to be changed when you are working with SSAS cubes?

  The error is due to the inadequacy of the maximum number of connections in the connection pool and the MaxThreadsPerClient of XMLA parameter in analysis services.

  The default values are 10 and 4, respectively. Then adjust the number of values of connections in the connection pool and MaxThreadsPerClient of XMLA will solve the problem.
