  5 a. provided the URL copied in embedded content

  6 saved the dashboard and it ran.

  7 error received unauthorized access

  Please note that I received as "Suspicion of Injection of Script" error sometimes.

  I see that no permissions related issue because I've been running reports by using administrator privileges.

  Problem has been solved by following step below

  The spaces in between the name of the report template/folder/data should be replaced with % 20.

• How to get the current name or IP server in OBIEE Dashboard?

  I have a requirement to redirect to a dashboard by clicking on roll number. What I did with GO the URL in OBIEE dashboard. The URL is of the following form:
  
  http://172.16.0.12/... It works very well.
  
  This url points to the development server. Is whereas when I am this dashboard on Production Server, the URL must be changed to point to live the ip address of the server... possible to dynamically obtain the ip of the server in OBIEE dashboard?

  You don't need the host name of the IP when you use the url go.

  Based on the permissions granted to the user, it will have access to it. If user is to have total control, then it may have change dashboard, else if the user read only access to the dashboard while he can't have the dashboard option change.

  You have a problem with your date format

  UPDATE DASH_ALERT_MSG set DATE_UPDATION='7/28/2008' WHERE DASHBOARD_NAME='Media'

  One solution is to change your NLS_DATE_FORMAT:

  ALTER SESSION SET NLS_DATE_FORMAT = 'MM/DD/YYYY/'
  

  but you can choose to change the date format OBIEE to match the format of database.

  Hi gurus,

  I have installed-to-end analytics where events are getting fired and reach the stage DB through a router of the event. ODI takes the data from the DB staging and implementation report DB. Now, when I consult the OBIEE dashboard (http://< Home >: 7001/analytical), the articles are very well visible and configurations are made so that the click on any ID doc opens correctly article BUT menus 'Cmajor'and 'local' are empty.

  I am able to see channels in the DW_REPORTING database.

  OBIEE is 11g on Windows Server 2008 r2.

  Please let me know what I missed.

  OK, it sorted. It was a browser issue.

  OBIEE works perfectly on FireFox. Drop-down menus soon began to fill, so much awaited and then was able to see the values.

  I use OBIEE 10.1.3.4 and have a report dashboard with guests from dashboard. When the report is run, an error is encountered on a join on a column that does not exist, when you look deeper in the NQuery log I found that the query selects a table at random which is off no use to the report and that the join of the column does not exist an error is displayed.

  Is it possible to change the way that the query works on what table he chooses?

  Most likely the unwanted table is joined (or is used in a derived column used by your report) in the MDB.

  You can delete the reference MDB at this table, or attack the mapping missing in the physical layer.

• OBIEE Dashboard invites value through action links

  Hi all -

  I have an ABC dashboard with dashboard for the guests 'Account name' & 'account number '.

  The account name will have several account numbers.

  Currently, if a user selects the name of the account, then in the "Account number" prompt, we will have a list of account numbers and user can choose one of them.

  Now the new requirement to register a new page for this dashboard.

  In the new page, we will have a summary report which has 'Account name', 'Account number', 'Amoun > 5000'.

  If the data are for example:

  Now the question is that we have an action on the 'account name' in the summary table, which will go to the 'account name value"to the dashboard 'ABC', link

  The account name is successful, but the "account number" which is next to him in the "summary table" does not, if there are other 'account number' he takes at random.

  But the requirement is to print the account number located next to the action link "account name".

  When you add a link to action on an attribute column in a table, it'll pass the values of this column and the columns to its left.

  A column will indeed pass the values of all attributes columns.

  So in your example, 'Account name' is the first column, there is nothing else on the left, a link on that action only value will be sent to your dashboard 'ABC' of Pentecost.

  If you change the account number and the name of the account (if your table is: account number |) Name of the account. Amount > 5000) with the same exact action link on the name of the Action value of the related account number (on the left of the where you clicked) will also be sent to "ABC".

  For your needs, it is perhaps easier to add the link of the action on the number of account as well.

  If you click on the account number you will send the account name and account number.

• Condition on dashboard change - new status icon (to choose an analysis) of the article is not visible. Permission problem?

  Hello colleagues,

  We tried to put in place a condition on a section in a dashboard (Dashboard Edit-> drop down-> Condition Section Properties-> select the status-> "new condition" icon is not visible). As a general rule, this icon is present to choose an analysis and a condition of game to generate results in the table edge, but for some reason any, that it is not visible now.

  Is it a question of privilege or a permission? If so, please advise how to solve this access.

• 25 color change question in Internet Explorer theme

  I changed the 4_2.css to theme 25 so that the header is # 671 17 color and the navigation bar is color #333333 to match our color scheme of institutions. This makes perfectly in Firefox and Chrome, but IE 9 shows this under the standard blue colors. I narrowed down it to what follows in the definition of the page header template:

  Problem solved, and now works in IE9, 8, 7 and ff & chrome. Focusing on the header of the solution was in the base64 encrypted background-image: url('data:image...) During the decryption of the code there are references to #4276 b 5 & 5a92d9 #. I changed my colors and it works now. The complete code is:

  However when I try to start the virtual machine Via code, it gives me an error saying that the virtual machine has questions to be decided.

  This is the question asked by VMWare:

  sg.disk.AdapterMismatch: the disk attached to the node SCSI0:0 has been created for the Buslogic SCSI adapter but SCSI0 Virtual Machine device is a SCSI LSI Logic card.

• Integration of page of OBIEE dashboard in jsff Facelet

  We strive to integrate OBIEE with ADF (Jdev 11.1.2.0). We must be able to view an analytical dashboard that is been created in OBIEE in our project of the ADF. I wanted to know if we can incorporate inside facelets jsff OBIEE (a dashboard page). I was able to drop the OBIEE content on a page jspx and able to run successfully, but if I can't integrate content into a facelet jsff and run it.
  
  The other thing that I'm trying to do, is use the inlineFrame to embed a jspx page in a facelet jsff. However, when I try this I get ' the following exception occurred:
  java.lang.NullPointerException. Is someone can you please help me solve these problems.

  AFAIK OBIEE will be part of the next jdev 12 c but will not be part of the jdev 11.1.2.x... As I mentioned earlier, you should stay with jdev 11.1.1.6.0 if you can not wait 12 c.
