• Dashboard any export to PDF - do not use the information book

  Hello world

  I know that I can export a page of dashboard both in PDF format as well as the export of an entire dashboard to Excel.  Is it possible to export a full dashboard with all the pages in a single PDF file? Briefing is not an option for me.

  Looks like it's impossible now. There is an enhancement request: bug 17716281 - DEMAND "PRINT ENTIRE DASHBOARD TO PDF" AS "EXPORT SET EDGE of EXCEL table.

• Help on the books of OBIEE11g of information

  Hi all
  
  I used no OBIEE10g and therefore have no knowledge on the information books. I have a new request of my client who wants a set of reports added to a briefing book. I did the following:
  
  (1) added the necessary administration permissions so that the link "Add to briefing book" appears in the dashboard > Options Page. OK until now.
  (2) I added the dashboard - my Page as well as a report more to a BB04 briefing. At the same time successfully added. OK until now.
  (3) I go to open in the header area, and then open the BB04 where I saved it. OK until now.
  (4) a screen will appear that says 'Edit information book' and has the dashboard - My Page and the other report. It has an icon change and delete... That's all... WHAT TO DO NOW?
  
  NOW, how can I open the content of BB04? I have no idea. I read that a briefing book can be opened in PDF and MHTML. How to do? No idea...

• Financial reporting schedule book

  Hello

  I would like to batch export calendar as a PDF of a financial information book in Hyperion planning. I've been able to do this for reports, but not for books.

  Is there a way to do this? How would you do that?

  I also want to export it to a directory on the file system, and they have saved using a suffix (kind of timestamp).

  How will you address this issue?

  You can do in the Planner in the workspace, if you did for reports which is the problem with the books?

  Set to annex to export the PDF file to a location and the file format.

• FM11 creates blank pages on the book to refresh

  Hi guys,.

  I'm here fighting with FM11 very strange behavior.

  I have a (informal) book with several binary files of FM (structured).

  The first part of the book is the cover with a few pages of marquetry includes an auto generated by the TOC (excluding the references to the pages of beginning and end).

  This work must be completed and contains total, including the cover as the first item and the last book of 48 pages.

  Now the first component contains 3 pages and a double layout with the help of several auto set of master pages (I know there is a problem with the removal of the excess pages with no left-right MP).

  But it's not exactly my problem.

  The problem is when I try to update the book. There is a blank page being created in the first part of the book, which I got rid of in the first place.

  Which is not really a problem because I can manually delete this page (and it continues being deleted if I does not update anything).

  But the real issue is that the references are SUBSEQUENTLY updated, which means all page references in the book are a single page to come.

  This is unacceptable, because it spans all the references in the entire document, which are wrong because of this.

  Is it possible I can get FM does not create this excess blank page?

  I'm tight on the calendar and clean up the mess of my boss gave me this document, so quick responses are really appreciated.

  New day, new chance.

  I finally found a solution to this. If I manually assign each component to start at a specific page (on the left in this case), I'm can FM does not create this white page after the 3 initial cover pages.

  While this works good for this project, I still think it's a bug. Reset of the user without notice or dialogue configurations cannot be expected behavior.

• At the opening of some Web pages I get a msg 'unable to connect to the server', but it works very well in startup

  The last few days during the use of the internet, some Web pages will not be not open. I get a msg of error saying 'unable to connect to the server', but it works very well with other sites such as Facebook and YouTube.  This happens when I use Safari, Firefox and Chrome.  Yet if I'm in Safe Boot mode it works fine.  I exaggerate the App installed VPN and when I am in normal mode and connect to the VPN exaggeration, all Web pages work correctly. I searched the net for days trying to find a solution but nothing I tried worked.  I'm not very computer savvy either so don't know much of what I do with this technical stuff.  I emptied the caches, but that did not work.  Following the advice of an answer to another question on this forum that was similar to mine, I went into the Terminal and performed a diagnostic test.  I don't understand all the information in this essay so hope someone here can decipher.   If a problem does not occur when it is started in safe mode, then you have already determined that the problem was isolated to a few 3rd party software running on your Mac.  Take a look at the information below to start with the removal of some elements of start-up and connection and see if the problem persists:

  Test your login items

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click users and groups.

  2. Click on your account under the current user name, and then click connection points.

     Make a list of the login items, you will need to remember later.

  3. Select all the elements of connection, and then click the button Delete .

  4. Choose the Apple menu > restart.

  5. If this solves the problem, reopen the preferences users and groups, add the elements of connection one at a time and restart your Mac after the addition of each of them.

     If the problem persists, follow the steps above to remove only the last element of connection that you added.

• Copy the Contacts from Vista to Windows 7 Contacts Possible?

  I have a new desktop under Windows 7 Home Premium. Before the death of my old desktop (Vista 32 Home Premium), I was able to copy my Contacts folder to a backup drive. Is Vista comes in contact with the same type of file as Windows 7 contacts? Is it possible to copy contacts from Vista to Windows 7 contacts folder? If this is not the case, how would I go about importing the contacts? Thank you!

  Welcome to the Microsoft Answers site.

  You can import the information book or contact address of several formats used by other programs, convert them for use in this version of Windows and store them in your Contacts folder. You can also convert your contacts to other formats by exporting. Allows you to share them with people who use an earlier version of Windows or a different operating system.

  However, you must download Windows Live Mail in order to perform the steps listed in method 1. To download windows live mail on windows 7 click on the link below.

  Method 1:

  Follow the steps mentioned below to import contacts.

  1. open Windows Contacts by clicking on the button start then on your user name. Type of contacts in the address bar and press ENTER.

  2. on the toolbar, click Import, and then click one of the following formats to import contacts from:

  o CSV (Comma Separated Values). It is a format of generic file used to export and import information to and from databases or spreadsheets. If you can't import an address book file directly into Windows Contacts, try everything first convert to a CSV file and then import this file.

  o LDIF (LDAP server). This format is used to import information from LDAP directory servers directory.

  o vCard (VCF file). This is the most widely used contacts format.

  o the Windows address book file (Outlook Express contacts). This format (.wab file) is used by most earlier versions of Windows, including Windows XP.

  3. click on import, locate the contacts file you want to import, and then click Open. The new contacts should appear in your Contacts folder.

  If you can't find the contacts file you want to import, see the documentation provided with the program that created the contacts or visit the manufacturer's website. You will need to export contacts from the program before you can import them into Windows Contacts.

  4. when a message appears telling you that the contacts import process has completed, click OK and then click Close.

  1. in Vista, navigate to the folder C:\Users\(user name) \Contacts , and then copy all your contacts and groups of contacts to something (ex: DVD, USB drive, etc.) to copy in Windows 7.

• Error code O9XNZMXB - access denied for briefing

  I gave access to information books to a user through the manage privileges. However, this user always gets the error:
  O9XNZMXB - access is denied for the user/users/ABC/_briefingbook path
  
  Can anyone help? We created groups with the same name as the user ID.

  If not then to delete the user ABC Catalog Manager Help and ask the user to sign in again as it will create a new folder with default privileges or click this user and then set permissions recursively for its ID

• Index in the .chm file is incorrect

  I use RoboHelp X 5 with Windows XP SP3. I have an index which is correct in RoboHelp, but not in the .chm file. In RoboHelp, I have great book as a keyword and several secondary keywords. However, in the .chm file, secondary keywords appear under General Ledger Journal instead of accounting. I've attached screenshots of the two at the bottom of this post, and I pasted the appropriate section of the project .hhk file. (.Hhk file is really long, so I wanted to insert all this).

  While train to solve this problem, my colleague changed the key word of the great book general Edger and that fixed the problem, but obviously we cannot keep it this way.

  I tried the following:

  • Compared to this section of the Perfect file to others. I may have missed something, but it seemed OK to me.
    
  • Has started the project, removed the Perfect file and then saved a change on the HR regenerated the Perfect file index.
    
  • Delete the file .cpd.
    
  • Deleted and réentré all the keywords.
    

  When the problem started, the subkeywords ledger appeared under periods of future instead of General Ledger Journal - I'm not sure what I did to change it, but I think it was when I removed and then reinstated the keyword for future periods.

  Unfortunately, none of them worked. I saw another thread to a similar issue where the solution was to create a second index and copy the key words on it, but I do not think that X 5 allows a second index.

  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

• Archive reports

  I have a need to archive regular monthly reports. I had heard of Briefing Books & thought that this should be the solution. I can't find a way to send the iBot reports to information books.
  
  Here are my questions:
  
  1 is information books, the right solution for the archiving of report?
  2. usable with iBots information books & if so, how?
  3. when I click on the button "Download now" and open the file .sbb, I get XML not found ' invalid page at the top of the document. What gives?

  You can save the contents of the report running on ibot as a file using a script.

• No preference for the report answers option to display all of the results?

  It is the specific question OBIEE. I write for the first time. So kindly direct me to the correct forum if this isn't the one.
  
  If an answers report is likely to produce > 25 lines or so, it throws an arrow with a star inside icon for all results.
  y at - it a preference to set the report of responses to fetch all reports?
  
  This is particularly useful when we add reports to dashboard and information books. We want all data in some cases.

  Sure no problem. In the Table view, click the properties button next to the icon of sigma. The second option says: lines per Page. The value as the desired amount of lines. Click on 'OK '. That should do it.
