Object interaction Web disappears (output SWF, Internet Explorer 10)

Hi people,

I met a problem with web objects endangered output SWF in Internet Explorer 10 (Windows 7 machine). He's not in Chrome, but unfortunately that doesn't help me because I'm stuck with a business environment that uses only IE.

The question is that if I click within the web object (pdf, webpage, whatever) and then click outside of it, the entire interaction disappears. I use code JavaScript from Jim for a dynamic web object, but the same thing if I make a new project and simply a web address in the widget. Sometimes a preview, in a web browser, on SCORMCloud, our LMS and example of Jim SWF in its dynamic web object tutorial.

I tried workarounds, like that of an image transparent/chip shape on top, but of course the web/iframe object is always on top. (I knew, but always hope...)

I don't know if anyone can help, but it would be nice to know if it happens to other people in the same web browser.

I guess I'll contact Adobe directly soon, because that would be really disappointing to have to renounce my project idea - a quiz random with custom questions that takes html files with the correct image, intended to reproduce an old test (done in Authorware, I think). It might be reproducible with advanced Actions, but not easily, and not in a way that could easily be reused for several tests with different images or several issues. In addition, I had another ongoing project that could involve using the widget to embed a PDF file, and that no longer works.

Thanks for reading,

ElaKat

Check the wmode (window mode) of the SWF file.  I think that it should be set to "opaque".  You will need to make this change in the file html or one of the js files (depending on how you published).

  • Web Smart Printing blocking Internet Explorer

I just installed and configure a C8180 to use the network connection on multiple printers and met with the strangest problem. My Internet explorer is locked up and will not start. So this leaves me in a very special position, you must go online to search for solutions to the problem, but you can't get online because IE is locked up. I just removed the Smart Web Printing that has been installed with the installation of the printer and BINGO! My internet explore now works. Can someone explain why this happens on Vista and XP?

I have a similar problem.  I just bought a dell with Vista 64 bit.  I had problems to connect to internet on IE7, about 50% of the time, I could click on it once and it wouldn't connect and then click again and it would connect.  If I had a lot of open windows 1/2 of them would connect and the other 1/2 would not.  It took for always trying to figure out what the problem was but finally uninstall Smart Web Printing has solved the problem. I have a photosmart c6280 all-in-one.

You have McAfee? McAfee has been updated at the same time as the last batch of updates from Windows 7 and this is the cause of problems of internet connection for most, if not all, users of McAfee.

See the communication from this "criticism" - McAfee

You should make the fix McAfee, if necessary. There are corresponding communications for their enterprise products.

    Hello

Welcome to Microsoft Windows Vista Forums.

I suggest you follow these steps:

Method 1: See if you can view another Web page

To do this, follow these steps:

    Start Internet Explorer.

In the top of the browser address bar, enter one of the following addresses:

    http://www.Microsoft.com

    http://www.MSN.com

    http://support.Microsoft.com

If you do not receive a similar error message after entering one of these addresses in the address bar, contact the owner of the Web site where you see the problem. The website is maybe temporarily unavailable or other problems.

If you receive the same error message, go to the next method.

Method 2: Run the Network Diagnostics tool in Internet Explorer

To do this, follow these steps:

Start Internet Explorer, and then try to access the Web page that displays the error message.

On the page that displays an Internet Explorer error message, click diagnose connection problems . The Network Diagnostics tool will run. When the tool has finished, it will notify if you one of the following results:

He was unable to find a problem.

It has detected a problem. In addition, the tool will provide guidance on the next steps to take to resolve the problem.

Note Users of Internet Explorer 6, click on detect network settings

Click IP address , and note the IP address. You may have to it for future troubleshooting.

Follow the steps in the Network Diagnostics tool to fix any connection problems.

    Start Internet Explorer.

If you receive the same error message, go to the next method.

Method 3: Use the delete browsing history

If resetting the modem or the router has not resolved the problem, delete your browsing history might help. Follow these steps to delete your temporary Internet files, history and form data:

    Internet Explore 7

    Start Internet Explorer.

On the Tools menu, click delete browsing history .

Select the check box next to Temporary Internet files .

Select the check box next to the history .

Select the check box next to form data .

Select the check box next to Cookies .

At the bottom of the window, click delete .

Close Internet Explorer and restart Internet Explorer, and then try to access the Web page.

    Internet Explorer 6

    Start Internet Explorer.

On the Tools menu, click Internet Options .

In the Temporary Internet files section, click delete files and then click to select the text box delete all offline content , and then click OK .

In the history section, click clear history , and then click Yes .

Close Internet Explorer and restart Internet Explorer, and then try to access the Web page.

If you receive the same error message, go to the next method.

Method 4: Use the Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) mode

To do this, click Start , point to programs , point to Accessories , point to System Tools and then click Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) .

Note The Internet Explorer (No Add-ons) mode is only available for Internet Explorer 7 and Internet Explorer 8.

If this resolves the problem, follow these steps to isolate the browser add-on that is causing the problem:

Click Tools and then click Internet Options .

Click on the programs tab, and then click Manage Add-ons .

Click an add-on in the name list, and then click disable .

Repeat step 3 until you identify the add-on that is causing the problem.

  • A bug in Internet Explorer?

    Hello

Can someone tell me what is it?

I saw and heard this announcement on CNN today:

"A new bug in Internet Explorer allows hackers to commandeer your computer."

Then, he gives a link to access the site for more information. That's what I get from this link:

That's how it works: hackers set up a Web site that installs malware when you visit. If you are fooled by visiting the Web site using the Internet Explorer program, malware infiltrates your computer and gives total control by a stranger. You can even notice.

"I would say that someone taking control of your computer is just the beginning of the worst case scenario," said Adrian Sanabria, an expert with security 451research.com . "Because then they steal your information, access your email, etc"

Right: Cyber Insurance bridges the gap between physical and digital

That's where the real danger lies. Anyone in control of your computer can spy on everything you do. If it's a PC at work, hackers can reach what to what an employee has access.

It's worse for those who use Windows XP, because Microsoft does not support this operating system with security patches. For them, Microsoft said: upgrading to Windows 7 or 8.1 GB.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security recommends that people abandon Internet Explorer until there is a patch - or install Special software in the meantime instead.

But this bug is more pervasive than it looks. Many machines use Windows - Bank ATMs, point of sale, seats restaurant tools - and Internet Explorer is their default browser. If hackers manage to send them to a bad Web site, that the machine is now under their control. It won't be easy, but it is possible.

"You do not as a Windows PC running the software," said Paco Hope, consultant at the software security firm Cigital . He advises companies to speak to salespeople to determine the vulnerability they are.

Because that this attack is based on few of the additional features of Internet Explorer, there is a relatively easy fix: just disable them. FireEye advise to disable the Adobe ()ADBE() Flash plugin. While Microsoft is working on fixing the bug, its engineers suggest your browser runs in Mode 'Enhanced Protect.' But experts say computer that will probably ruin your experience online.

To disable the Flash plugin in Internet Explorer, click "Tools" and then "Manage Add-ons."

That is why the simplest solution is to simply abandon Internet Explorer and use another browser, said Marius Buterchi with the antivirus software manufacturer BitDefender . This attack does not affect other Web browsers such as Google ()GOOG, Fortune 500) Chrome, Mozilla FireFox or Apple (),AAPL, Fortune 500) , Safari.

This type of attack is particularly bad, because it affects all versions of the Web of IE6 by IE11 browser. It's more than half of browsers currently in use right now, according to the Web Analytics site NetMarketShare.

This is not the first time hackers use modules like Flash to attack computers. But this hack, first publicly disclosed by FireEye in a blog post Saturday, has been described as a 'zero-day '. This means that the attack is a unique technique, never seen before - a particularly dangerous vulnerability, because it has not yet been patched.
