  This issue may be caused if you are using the proxy settings, incorrect settings or store waiting for update needs to be installed on your computer. I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

  Step 1:

  Install all pending Windows updates and check if it makes a difference.

  To check updates

  (a) click on the gear box in the upper right corner in internet explore.

  (b) click on the Tools button and then click on Internet Options.

  (c) click on the Connections tab, then click LAN settings.

  (d) uncheck the use a proxy server for your LAN check box.

  (e) click ok.

  Denge75 looks like there is an incorrect entry in your registry for Photoshop Lightroom.  I recommend you to uninstall Lightroom 5.3.  One times removed, then please also use Microsoft Fixit to solve the problems that programs cannot be installed or uninstalled to remove all entries for Photoshop Lightroom renaming.

  You should then be able to download and install Lightroom 5.5 directly from Adobe - Lightroom: for Windows.

  I had this same problem by updating the quantum libraries on a test instance.
  Check the paths in the vertex variables and also the tax_libraries and tax_data columns in pay_action_parameters.

  On unix:

  env | grep VND
  VND_PAY_PL, VND_VERTEX, etc.

  If these look not just that they are defined in the file devenv.env located in $FND_TOP/usrxit

  Once you set them correctly logout and log back in and bounce the applications process.

  It worked for me. Good luck.

• APP-FND-00806: the default value is not valid for the p_period_from segment

  We get this error when a user selects a date that is two years of one of our custom reports. I am fairly new to value sets, so I'm not sure what to include here. The parameter on which the problem has a custom value game which is a list of standard date format type values, but there is no validation of value.
  
  I have watched a few other items of metalink but have not yet find something that could solve this problem.

  Hi - I've done a fresh install of R12.1.1 on RedHat Linux - x 86 update 5 (Oracle Linux) unbreakable.
  
  Post Install resulted in some errors:

  Help page

  Then I tried to restart rapidwiz, but I don't know where is the saved configuration.
  
  So I restart Apache, was able to connect from a Windows client and try opening the forms, but get the error:
  
  APP-FND-01630: could not open the file /d01/oracle/VIS/inst/apps/VIS_oracle/appl_fnd/12.0.0/secure/VIS.dbc
  
  I don't know what to do, am about to throw this box.
