OCI error ORA-01403: no data found in oracle goldengate replication after tts instaniation
I recently migrated our central system of tg (11.1.0.7) solaris from Sun to linux (11.2.0.3) environment using goldengate (tablespace transportable method used for instantiation).
Initial replication has worked with HANDLECOLLISIONS and after I took over LAG, I took off Handlecollisions and noticed updated report discarded with OIC error ORA-01403: no data available in two repetitions.
I followed all the steps in the migration tts steps provided by oracle best practices.
Can anyone provide any clue how to fix this?
Thank you in advance.
For that error, the common problem is missing data, GoldenGate cannot find it because there is no key (search KEYCOLS in the installation guide), or a null is present (trying to update a record and a constraint is not null).

Hello
We strive to run a full charge in DAC, but it is a failure.
The S_ASSET table is empty and therefore, we get the error
Could not get column: ORA-01403: no data found
We were not facing this error in DAC 10 g but after upgrade to DCA 11 g, this task has no place if the array is empty. How remove this restriction and DAC will work perfectly even if the tables are empty to full charge?

Published by: user12051088 on March 4, 2010 01:40This unique INSERT could possibly end up with all of your pl/sql code!
insert into Talent_ID (Emp_ID ,Name1) (select distinct a.Emp_ID ,t.Candidate_Name from names a ,Talent t where a.Name_Type = 'PRI' and upper(a.Last_Name || ', '|| a.First_Name) = trim(upper(t.Candidate_Name)) ) /
Keep in mind, there is no way for me to test it! Furthermore, TALENT_ID is a strange name for a table. Probably typo but simply change the INSERT statement accordingly!

You are not allowed to open the form ORA-01403: no data found
Hello
I created a new forms of Oracle 10 g. It compiles successfully, but when it is open, it gives an error message: you are not allowed to open the form ORA-01403: no data found.
I am already connected to the database. Please can someone help what is the reason of this problem, and no matter what possible resolution?
Looks like you have some kind of security is enabled. However, because you do not share details about your environment or what you're doing here is not that we can do is guess.
- Exactly what version of forms do you use?
- Exactly which version of the database that you are using?
- You use something like Oracle E-Business (e.g. template.fmb)?
- You created the form with Oracle Designer?
- If you create a simple form using only the layout assistants and the DataBlock compared to schema Oracle demo (SCOTT), this form run?
No additional details describing what you do or have done could be useful.

However, it creates "ORA-01403: no data found" error when no data is returned for select.

Function body PLSQL returning a sql report returns ORA-01403 no data found
I'm on APEX 3.1.2.00.02 and Oracle 10 g.
I develop a relationship with the type of SQL query (body of function from PL/SQL returning SQL query). But the performance of the report, I get
error report:
ORA-01403: no data found
Source of the region
Proceduredeclare qry varchar2(32767); begin --Procedure call my_pkg.get_query(qry); htp.p(qry); return /*select 1 from dual */ qry; end;
The query will be improved later to add more month and year according to the user settings that I am running on this report.PROCEDURE get_query (V_QRY OUT VARCHAR2) IS qry varchar2(32767); begin qry := ' select name , max(decode(to_char(service_date,''Mon-YY''), ''Jan-09'', value, null)) as "Jan-09" , max(decode(to_char(service_date,''Mon-YY''), ''Jan-09'', value, null)) as "Feb-09" from MY_TABLE group by name '; V_QRY := qry; end;
I want to use specific query column names. I saw this suggestion from Scott in a number of threads to use / * select 1 double * / with the query, but does not not in my case.
Please can anyone suggest what I can do to make it work?
Kind regards
AmirFirst of all, unit you have tested the procedure (namely, in the workshop of SQL, SQL * Plus, SQL Developer, etc, etc) to see if it produces the output in the first place right?
If you have, and the generated query string is valid, try to assign the output to a page element (allowing you to visualize in the session browser), or even through the procedure output window for debugging (using the wwv_flow.debug function). This might indicate a change of State or session that is causing it not to return. You might find this easier to achieve if you switch from one "procedure and output parameter ' combination 'function returning string' approach."
If not, try to re-create the report in a new region - sometimes I came across strange bugs with parts of the report which were solved in this way.

Ideas please people?

ORA-01403: no data found on the LOGICAL standby database
Hello
Logical question of Eve:
Enterprise Edition Oracle 10.2.0.2.
M work waiting LOGIC for 1 year but still i have not had this...
I m not be countinuously no data foud errror on the logic of the standby database.
I found the table causing the problem (db_logstdby_events) and jumped this table and table instantiated using the package bwlow:
exec dbms_logstdby.instantiate_table (...)
but when I start to apply the logical waiting process it gives again some were found for the new data table:
I even tried to instantiate the table to EXPORT/IMPORT assistance over time, but the same problem same deal with.
As much as I knew abt the error that is:
Table1:
ID
10
20
30
Now if sql apply processes on standby logic tent performs the operation of (for example) updated as below
Update table1 set id = 100 where id = 50;
above request will not be completed cos he'll never find 50 values which is not in the table. That is why this error coming...
Now my concern is... no user didn't dare change/make of such changes on the logic ensures. So if there is no change in the tables, then apply it sqll should get all the values to be needded for an update...
watingggg guyssss...Hello;
How do you know that the database pending is compatible with the primary?
Are there opportunities has one or several tables have been created on the eve before they were created on the primary? (If Yes check in DBMS_LOGSTDBY. INSTANTIATE_TABLE)
Or jump and re-instantiate the table.
Example of
EXEC DBMS_LOGSTDBY.SKIP('DML','EMPLOYEES','%'); EXECUTE DBMS_LOGSTDBY.INSTANTIATE_TABLE ('YOUR_USER', 'EMPLOYEES', 'YOUR_DBLINK');

Hi, Raj,
Instead of
SELECT LENGTH (TRIM (TRANSLATE (P_AD_CITY, ' + -. 0123456789', ' '))) IN THE DOUBLE P_TEMP_CITY; -to check if the value is numeric
SELECT NM_NAME IN THE P_NM_NAME OF THE CITY WHERE ID_TOWN = P_AD_CITY;
SELECT CD_CODE INTO P_CD_CODE FROM REF_COUNTRY_CODE WHERE CD_CODE = P_AD_COUNTRY;
You can say:
P_TEMP_CITY: = LENGTH (TRIM (TRANSLATE (P_AD_CITY, ' + -. 0123456789', ' ')));
SELECT MIN (NM_NAME)
IN P_NM_NAME
OF THE CITY
WHERE ID_TOWN = P_AD_CITY;
SELECT MIN (CD_CODE)
IN P_CD_CODE
OF REF_COUNTRY_CODE
WHERE CD_CODE = P_AD_COUNTRY;
You don't need the double table much in PL/SQL.
When you use an aggregate function (MIN, as above) without a clause GROUP BY, the result set is guaranteed to have exactly 1 row. This also avoids the error (ORA-01422) TOO_MANY_ROWS, which is probably impossible in this example.

I have created a static LOV with LST display 0 return
Display NON - RSA 1 return...
Could any body please help me in truble shooting error? How to to convert the data type to number, I have no privileges to make changes to the table...Mark you my previous answer as correct? (MOST POINTS! :))

Error ORA-00932: inconsistent data types
Hello world
I'm having a small problem with the error ORA-00932: inconsistent data types. The code below is what I'm working on. The error is on line 12:
"vStmt: = ' select DDH_HOST_NM, DDH_SCHEMA_NR from ' | '. vSchema |'. < table > @ < DB_LINK > '; ». This is because DDH_HOST_NM is a VARCHAR2 and DDH_SCHEMA_NR a number.
I know what is the error and where it is but I can't work on how to solve this problem. I tried to use to_char on DDH_SCHEMA_NR but that does not.
Anyone have an idea how I can fix this problem?
Thank you
N.S.N.O.
DECLARE
vSchema varchar2 (1000);
vStmt varchar2 (1000);
Version number (38);
CURSOR c_schemas IS
Select "< SCHEMA-NAME >" as "< scheme name >" twice;
BEGIN
Open c_schemas;
LOOP
SEEK c_schemas INTO vSchema;
EXIT WHEN c_schemas % NOTFOUND;
vStmt: = ' select DDH_HOST_NM, DDH_SCHEMA_NR from ' | vSchema |'. < table > @ < DB_LINK > ';
Run immediately vStmt in version;
dbms_output.put_line(vSchema||) e '|| Version);
END LOOP;
CLOSE C_schemas;
END;The problem is that you choose 2 columns in a single variable?
vStmt: = ' select DDH_HOST_NM, DDH_SCHEMA_NR from ' | vSchema |'.
@
';
Run immediately vStmt in version ;This must be either
vStmt: = ' select DDH_SCHEMA_NR from ' | vSchema |'.
@
';
Run immediately vStmt in version;or
vStmt: = ' select DDH_HOST_NM, DDH_SCHEMA_NR from ' | vSchema |'.
@
';
Run immediately vStmt in vHostNm, version;where vHostNm should set as a variable too.
