Hello.

You must add these additional java options in odiparams.

ODI_ADDITIONAL_JAVA_OPTIONS = - XX:MaxPermSize = 2048 m

And make sure that your values INIT_HEAP and MAX_HEAP are clean.

    What can be?

    Well, you very probably not a lot of space on the left under/Home.

    You can move to another location that is located on/home/oracle/orInventory the / partitioning of the partition where you probably have more space left if you used the default value.

    For example, as a root user:

    mkdir/U01

    MV/home/oracle/oraInventory/U01

    Update /etc/oraInst.loc and replace

    inventory_loc = / home/oracle/oraInventory

    with

    inventory_loc = / u01/oraInventory

    This warning is created by Cygwin.

    Error Message:cygwin warning:
    MS-DOS style path detected: c:/agent
    Preferred POSIX equivalent is: /cygdrive/c/agent
    CYGWIN environment variable option "nodosfilewarning" turns off this warning.
    Consult the user's guide for more details about POSIX paths:
    http://cygwin.com/cygwin-ug-net/using.html#using-pathnames

    Because of this message, even when a command is executed on a remote server, the deployment fails to launch similar warnings.
    However as stated in the warning, setting the CYGWIN environment variable option "nodosfilewarning" turns off this warning.

    By Cygwin documentation

    http://Cygwin.com/Cygwin-UG-NET/OV-New1.7.html
    On the use of a path (C:\foo, \foo\bar) BACK, the Cygwin DLL emits a warning BACK paths cannot be used.

    Solution:

    1.) If your WHO is under Windows, follow the procedure on the SGD server below.

    • Make sure that the cygwin utility is installed with the oracle documentation

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E24628_01/install.121/e22624/preinstall_req_cygwin_ssh.htm#EMBSC150

    • After the Installation of Cygwin

    (a.) CYGWIN environment variable set in system variables

    MyComputer--> advanced--> EnvironmentVariables
    Add a new variable: CYGWIN and value as "nodosfilewarning".
    NOTE: No reboot required

    (b) update of \CYGWIN.bat (CYGWIN_HOME default is c:\cygwin if installed location)

    @echo off
    C:
    chdir C:\cygwin\bin
    set CYGWIN=binmode ntsec nodosfilewarning
    bash --login -i

    (c.) stop service sshd using services

    As soon as > run > Type "services.msc".
    Search for 'Cygwin sshd' service and stop it

    (d.) Start sshd service using CYGWIN terminal (and not services)

    From the Explorer, go to
    Click cygwin.bat (for CYGWIN = nodosfilewarning setting are taken into account)
    Start using the sshd service:
    $ / usr/sbin/sshd

    NOTE: Above the command may throw an error indicating

    / var/Empty must be owned by root and not by group or accessible writable

    Run below from the same terminal for cygwin
    chown $ : /var/empty
    Run the sshd command again
    Once the command is executed, it returns quickly, without any messages

    2.) repeat the steps above on the target of the machine where the Agent needs to be deployed.

    3.) try new deployment of the Agent from the Console, which should be accomplished successfully.

    Hi, I know why you get the question
    This is because the data for the working repository server use "jdbc:hsqldb:hsql://localhost".

    You must do the following steps:
    (1) for the connection of the repository, first of all, make only one master repository link
    2) connect to the master repository, open your working repository, where it is supposed to give an error box because she is unable to connect to database server backen
    3) click on the 'connect' button in the editor to open the editor of data server, modify the jdbc url to ' jdbc:hsqldb:hsql: / /", then save"
    (4) close your session, change your repository connect, do connect to the repository of the work
    (5) connection, everything works fine

  • Pure SQL Exception: Caused by java.lang.NullPointerException.

    Pure SQL exception.

    Pure SQL select DECODE Execute (MSI. ATTRIBUTE5, 'Y', 'True', 'False') XX_flag of msi mtl_system_items_b where inventory_item_id =? and rownum = 1 failed.

    Caused by java.lang.NullPointerException.

    The pure SQL option is for only border use cases and provides simple but minimal functionality.  Maybe try the "Run an operation on a table" option instead.  This exception is considered non reproducible, probably due to an error of modeling.

    Version: Oracle soa suite 12.1.3 - jdk1.7 - (local) Windows 7 operating system

    I get the above exception in one of our Async BPEL of the process, and it happens like 1 in 5 cases.

    As you can see, the reason for the error is not really clear and I see nothing diagnosis either connects.

    And when I start this process from the console, it's getting completed successfully.

    We are not exceeding the number of DB connections either.

    Here's our design:

    BPEL Poller-> (several calls) Async BPEL process-> database adaptor with above query

    What could be wrong? What is the reason for this odd behavior?

    Thank you

    Prasanna

    This error could not be reproduced on the test environment, where the SOA server with oracle DB of the backend rather than javaDB on integrated server is installed...

    So if someone were unexpected exceptions on the local server and then try to test on the test/UAT/pre-production environments.

  • Causes of white space, tab, and line breaks slow in running the queries? What is the main reason behind it?

    Hi all

    I am facing a weird problem in the SQL query. Taken, I wrote the request with the spaces, tabs and line breaks after execution it slows down the database and finally, I have to restart the database again. But after removing the spaces the application went very well. I don't know what the problem causing this slow run, but after the removal of whitespace to query everything works fine. I've also confirmed plans to explain the two after the removal of whitespace and previously had the same results.

    I use the TOOL of DEVLOPER PL/SQL, SQL developer, Toad and Oracle 11 g.

    ***************************************************************

    For example. (in reference to my original query):

    Select

    *

    Of

    Double;

    ****************************************************************

    (After removing whitespace)

    Select * twice;

    *****************************************************************

    What would be the reason for white spaces causing slow performance?

    Please let me know if you need additional information on my question.

    Thanks in advance,

    HP

    If you make the first request without spaces and the second by spaces you will see, the second is even faster...

    The reason why are cached revenge...

  • Space PermGen error Weblogic 10.3

    Hello

    I work with Weblogic 10.3. I created a custom domain and inside thim, I created a new server and the machine. I'm doing the deployment a standard EMC (Documentum Webtop) web application and I get this error "means: PermGen space. I changed these settings in my environment this config files because I use Node Manager:

    1 %DOMAIN_HOME%\bin\setDomainEnv.cmd

    MEM_ARGS =-Xms256m-Xmx512m set @REM
    Set MEM_ARGS =-Xms1024m-Xmx1024m

    @REM set MEM_MAX_PERM_SIZE = - XX:MaxPermSize = 128 m
    Set MEM_MAX_PERM_SIZE = - XX:MaxPermSize = 256 m

    After this change, I get same error.

    2 %WL_HOME%\common\bin\commEnv.cmd

    @rem set MEM_ARGS =-Xms32m-Xmx200m - XX: MaxPermSize = 128 m - XX: + UseSpinning
    Set MEM_ARGS =-Xms32m-Xmx200m - XX: MaxPermSize = 256 m - XX: + UseSpinning

    After this change, I get same error too.

    Could someone tell me what is wrong and this script I should change?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Liagre,

    http://middlewaremagic.com/WebLogic/?p=4464
    How do you start your server using NodeManager or StartScript? I think that the changes are not not be picked up by your server managed... U confirm it by looking at the Server Logs or STDOUT managed... What was the bunch & PerSize there when starting to STDOUT. ?

    If you start your server managed using NodeManager then first try the following options as well...

    Option - 1).
    Connect to AdminConsole--> environments-. Servers---> YourManagedServer---> Configuration (TAB)---> ServerStart (sub-tab)---> Arguments: (TextArea) - Xms1024m-Xmx1024m - XX: MaxPermSize = 256 m

    Specify the parameter bunch & MaxPermSize here... in the text box. Then start your server.

    If option-1 does not work then...
    Option-2). If before also didn't work so please try to add the 2 following in the 'nodemanager.properties' file and startWebLogic.cmd please add the JAVA_OPTION =-Xms1024m-Xmx1024m - XX: MaxPermSize = 256 m

    StartScriptName = startWebLogic.sh
    StartScriptEnabled = true

    Then try to start your managed server.

    Thank you

  • ODI OS command - execution by Agent error

    Dear all,

    We created a lot sample.bat file that refers to another file .cmd available on another server, and the content is

    ------< ipaddress > \d$\... \ScheduleBatch.cmd < location of the XML "Parameter1" > < parameter2-ReportingServerIP >

    We discussed this batch file in a set of command of the OS by using the syntax
    cmd /c sample.bat

    When we run this using Local < NoAgent > it runs perfectly well - sample.bat calls .cmd and runs reports.
    When we run the same using ODI Dev Agent - it throws an error saying - * "return code of bad process."

    Any kind of entries would be really useful and appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.
    Concerning
    Srikanth

    Hi Srikanth,

    Where is installed the Agnet?
    Go to the server where the Agent is installed,
    and launch the batch file or commands from the prompt of the server controls,.
    Maybe the other server, you have access to is not accessible from the server that the agent is installed.
    If the batch file, goes off correctly at the command prompt, it hsould work through the agent.

    Also, check for the agent windows service...
    for login information, the shuild server to be accessed through the connection that you entered for the agent

  • exception, caused by the "immediate cessation".

    Hello

    I use a PL/SQL to remove or update the tables.

    When Oracle is issued with the 'stop immediately' or 'The judgment' or if Oracle is abruptly stopped, I have to restore transactions. Although, I have not written a rollback command, Oracle automatically cancels. This is the desired behavior. This happens as you want in my machine. In the Production environment, I think that the judgment has thrown an exception. The logic I had entered in the exception block where we update an errors table is visible in the Production environment. I could not recreate this exception in my system. I don't know which Oracle exception throws the abrupt stop. So, I intend to write an exception as a precautionary block. You know it please what are the possible exceptions if there is a sudden stop.

    Kind regards

    REDA

    > Please do you know what are the possible exceptions if there is a sudden stop.

    No exception is thrown.

    SHUTDOWN ABORT resembles unplug power cord & no further action from happening.

    I very recently in ODI, based on the document of beginners, I created an interface... but I have 1 little doubt where this interface file will be save? and whose extension it will save?

    Hello

    I don't think that he ask for loading to and from a flat file, it just asks where the interface metadata are stored.

    It is not a file, it is stored in the repository of work which is actually a schema on a database (Oracle DB or another RDBMS). You should ask your DBA to have read access.

    Thanks for the return of coupling.

    In total, due to negligence.

    It was necessary to create the new connection simply.

    This option in case of which the agent has not been started is higher.

    In this option, the agent was launched and works perfectly.

    For those who will have to face a similar problem - look at a stage in the creation of a repository.
