  I have a conditional obligation plan a work/scenario in ODI

  There is a scenario 1 - which must be scheduled to run every day at 06:00 except Sunday

  Scenario 2 - which should be scheduled to run only on Sunday at 6:00

  Scenario 1 should be scheduled to run on Sunday after scenario 2 is executed.

  Can anyone suggest the best way to do it.

  Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

  For the first instance, as mentioned above, schedule the job for scenario 1 to run every day except Sunday.

  Second case, where scenario1 must be performed after scenario 2 Sunday only.

  Create a separate package, in which you add step 1 Scenario 2 then step 2 Scenario 1 time in a synchronous mode and generate a scenario (annex work for this scenario run only on Sunday)

  or

  Create a separate package, in which you add step 1 Scenario 2 then step 2 OdiwaitforChildSession, step 3 Scenario 1 and scenario (annex work for this scenario run only on Sunday)

  In both cases the scenario 1 will be executed after the success of scenario 2.

• What is the reason of possilble when odi failed to launch a scenario?

  I have a scenario that contains 3 child scenario. Two of them are set to agent1, who are running in asynchronous Mode, and the third argument is set to agent2, which takes place after the other two in synchronous Mode. The father, the scenario is scheduled every hour. Before and after "August 7, 2010 12:12:51 AM", the fater scenario works well. But this suddenly failed to "August 7, 2010 12:12:51 AM" with the return code 7000 and detailed below, message

  Looks like a problem of the agent. I had a monitor/start odi agent scripts runs every minute on server, the script is as below,

  After "soaps" ODI a bit, in all my projects I re - start the agent once a week or even once a day because of the memory issues... ;)

  The command should be something like:

  $ODI_HOME/bin/agent.sh-PORT 29010 - NAME = pinglog_agent - v = 3 = > $ODI_HOME/bin/agent_log.txt

• Script to regenerate take too long?

  Recently, my client worked at ODI and was fine for a few months.
  Until now, they have a problem with a scenario they want to regenerate.
  When they click on regenerate their scenario, it took about an hour at least. (sometimes it was hung)
  But if they choose to build a new version of the script it took from the time around 3-4 minutes. (Of course because this kind of job will insert only a new record into a table SNP but what table?)
  
  Maybe they have a lot of package and the script. So how they could maintain that kind of problem.

• Error in generated Diff Scripts in 4.1EA

  I use database comparison tool to compare two schemas and prepare deployment scripts.  Some of the procedures have comments at the end of the source. Examples of source and target procedures.

  So there's no way for me to get environments in sync.

  Is this a known issue?  Is there a work around?  I wish I could standardize our deployments using carts and Diff scripts, but now that I find myself with the help of another tool.

• Confusion about DBCA script generated for the manual creation of CARS DB

  Version:11.2.0.4/RHEL 6.3

  We create our 3-node RAC database manually.  DBCA can satisfy our needs because our redo log files, data, control and tempfiles files files are placed in a complicated way. If we use DBCA, we spend a lot of time configuration to our requirements after the creation of the DB.

  I generated scripts for creating DB of DBCA (name of the BD = BRCFPRD)

  DBCA placed the creation of db scripts in the directory specified in all 3 nodes!

  They all have nearly the same content. The only difference being the name of the instance (BRCFPRD12.sql for Node2,... etc.).

  Scripts in each node have the createDB.sql statement that has CREATE DATABASE 'BRCFPRD' statement. Why is it? The database should only be created from a node. Then why DBCA place createDB.sql in all nodes?

  I want to just run the script of a single node, say Node1 and it should create the RAC 3-node DB. How can I do this manually?

  This has existed in the RC BETA and still does in the GA release and uncomment comments and restarting the webAccess service, you will get a link for the scripted Installer but modules aren't always load.

  Someone at - he managed to get this working or has been deleted or forgotten?

  FYI - I know that you can take a look at KS.cfg previous and a part of the documentation provided in the installation guide to create a new kickstart for ESX 4, but the question is about the generation tool and if it's been deleted.

  I don't know if I fully understand your question, but when you open a secure channel in GPShell, the rest of the session (until you doing something that ends the secure session), the APDU is sent by using appropriate encryption and kidnapped, according to the security level.

  -Security parameter give the level of security required for the secure session. This is described in the README file.

  -x 0 security: clear, 1: MAC, 3: MAC + ENC

  Hi.First generate all the privileges of the database DB1 as follows:

  select 'grant '||PRIVILEGE||' to '||'' from dba_sys_privs
  where GRANTEE='';
  
  select 'grant '||GRANTED_ROLE||' to '||'' from dba_role_privs
  where GRANTEE=''
  
  select 'grant '||PRIVILEGE||' on '||GRANTOR||'.'||TABLE_NAME||' to '||''
  from dba_tab_privs
  where GRANTEE=''
  

  then create user () in the (new) DB2 database and above privileges as well.
