  I'm using ODI 11 g.

  I have a package that contains scripts: scn_tableA_ver001, scn_tableB_ver001, scn_tableC_ver001

  Now, if I go to top-level folder in the designer, right-click and say GENERATING all the scenarios then:

  (a) all scenarios will get new numbers from version such as scn_tableA_ver002, scn_tableB_ver002, scn_tableC_ver002,

  If one) is true, then my package will become invalid or focus on older scenarios.

  So what I want to know is there a way to REGENERATE all scenarios (without going through one by one) and thereby preserve the names of scenario.  OR did I miss something in my understanding?

  If you right click on your file and then generate all the scenarios, you will have an option to regenerate all the scenarios, as you can see here:

  

  The worst to regenerate all scenarios is when you have the startup variables defined in your scenarios, because if you do a rebuild all the scenarios in this way it will lost all the configurations you have about startup vars.

  Normally we start var in the main scenarios (the one who calls all the others) then you can create markers of key scenarios and secondary scenarios and then when you do a rebuild all that you choose markers "Secondary Scenarios" (which does not any var start) and regenerate all the scenarios at the same time, but the main scenarios which you can feed manually.

  If you pass all var start-up for the scenarios you want to regenerate simply right click in the main folder and generate all the scenarios. Then select re-genarete and it's done.

  I have and trying to load flat files in a MSSQL data store. Flat files have set the width of the columns and I managed to load a template file into the data store. This table has a primary key Auto Increment.
  
  However, I am trying to use a variable for the name of the file, because there is a lot of files in the folder. I declared the variable and put it in a package with the Interface for loading data. When I try to create a scenario I get the following error: * ODI-15018 CKM not selected *.
  
  I checked the following on my interface:
  
  Flow control is set to FALSE
  I have CKM SQL selected under the control of the Interface section

  I have a question. We plan to use ODI to load the data into one of our Hyperion planning projects.
  Data source will be SAP and others.
  And I have a question. Are there other costs except ODI license to load the data from SAP (some connectors)?
  Also, I have a second question.
  What is ERP Integrator? It will allow EPM users to perform scenarios ODI?

  ODI follows the CPU based licensing.
  So, you will need to take into account the number of processors in the target computer (and possibly a datawarehouse machine)
  Thus, the total cost would be cost of the SAP connectors + (number of CPUs * cost per CPU * CoreFactor)

  Corefactor depends on the hardware platform you use.

• Firefox drops letters when using Franklin Gothic times, but not Safari

  I bought the web version of Franklin Gothic Book, Medium and half of MyFont - and began to use them in my new site in development.

  We hit a few problems that brought me to re-examine the whole issue - unless we help to accomplish:

  Problem 1 - Firefox drops several letters/characters and is therefore no use to me at all as it is.

  The problem does not occur in Safari.

  Problem 2 - police seems poor at 20px size - in any browser on Windows XP - see attached 3

  It is a problem with the police.

  The police has the ligature characters removed, but ligature tables are still there. MyFonts says that you should be able to regenerate the police with the full character set:

  You should be able to log into your account, go to "Your order history", select the appropriate purchase, then select "time Kit Builder', just to the right of 'Easy' and 'Office police downloads '. If you click on the sample of fonts (the quick brown fox), you will see the advanced character options.   If the problem persists, or if you are unable to regenerate the time and that you only need to support Firefox 4 +, you can work around the problem by adding - moz-font-feature-settings: "calt = 0, liga = 0; to your @font-face.

  If you need also to support Firefox 3.6, you can use text-rendering: optimizeSpeed; as an alternative.

  I have a custom jython script that calls an ODI scenario. My problem is how to move the POV selected in fdm to the ODI scenario? I need to get information from the period inside my ODI package.

  Your other question is that fdmContext will not be initialized in a custom script. If you need to get the FDMEE period in the scenario ODI, you must configure a custom script parameter that evaluates to FDMEE period POV as input that you can then recover in your script that is customized by using the following API - fdmAPI.getCustomScriptParameterValue ("ParameterName")

  You'd then this value as a variable argument to the ODI scenario

  Yes you are right, I found the solution so far. There is a problem with the analysis in ODI.

  Variable names are not any question (by variable names are case-sensitive in ODI 11.1.1.9.0)

  Solution:

  OdiStartScen '-SCEN_NAME = #v_ScenName ""-SCEN_VERSION = #v_ScenVersion ' '-SYNC_MODE = 1 "#v_AddlVariables".

  Here odi is not expected a variable, it waits for a command in the form of

  OdiStartScen "-SCEN_NAME = #v_ScenName" "-SCEN_VERSION = #v_ScenVersion '"-SYNC_MODE = 1 ""-= value .var_name ' "»

  so, I changed the format of the command to

  OdiStartScen '-SCEN_NAME = #v_ScenName ""-SCEN_VERSION = #v_ScenVersion ' '-SYNC_MODE = 1 ""-project_code #. "". " #var_name = #var_value.

  that is to put all my requirements for entry into the different variables solved the problem.

  ODI 11 G is really better understand some features that were already working in ODI 10 G. It's like finding the solution once more

  I created new Manager topology agent. I've updated the details of master repository in odiparams.bat

  Then, I started the officer in the command prompt.

  Then I am getting error like

  2015 08-04 ERROR ODI-1443 error 13:00:04.056 when starting agent: javax.servle

  t.ServletException: ODI-1405: Agent OracleDIAgent start failure: the agent is not

  t defined in the topology for master repository.

  After that, I started the agent in the master repository:

  C:\oracle\Middleware\Oracle_ODI1\oracledi\agent\bin

  And then I got error like below the screenshot

  Your agent starts successfully, but you are unable to test studio odi agent. Right?
  Then is your agent and odi studio are in the same host? If yes then you use localhost as a hostname in the topology Manager. You can try to use the Ip address or full host name in the topology for you Manager connect to the agent.
  You can also check ping and telnet to the port of the agent to check if it is blocked or not.

I was able to access the repository of BIAPPS ODI of the two machines. But suddenly after about 4-5 months, I am unable to access the repository BIAPPS of Machince2 so that I can access it from Computer1. I am getting following error

  In my package, I used a tool ODI with variable OdiStartScen which is the name of the scenario of the Interface (#SCENARIO_NAME). My Interface is dynamic. Its source is the data store flat file with the resource based on a variable name #FILE_NAME. Now the tricky part. The package execution ends with an error with the interface. If the variable is not specified, then interface ofc will not work because there is no file of this type as a variable name (#FILE_NAME file not found), but if I specify the variable in the Variables tab in the ODIStartScen tool I get an error that this variable is not in the repository to work. How to do things?

  Insert the variable in the package (assess/refresh) and regenerate the scénarion. It should be about the variables that will be included in the scenario. When you call the script must be defined what is the value to pass to this variable.

  Also, you could show us the error message.

  The error was a bug in the ODI old bridge to import.

  By opting for the OEMM 12.2.1.0, which uses straight oracle odi sdk for importation, the problem disappeared.
