  Normally below a series of steps should help:

  I use the method of installation in silent mode for installation 11 GR 1 material customer oem using the doc 'http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/products/oem/agent-files/64-bit/aix5l-64-11.1.0.1.0.-instructions.txt' (3.2. • Error while installing OEM agent

  Here are my coordinates for the environment.
  
  Oracle - 10.2.0.4.0
  Linux - RHEL5 - 2.6.18 - 128.1.6.el5
  Two-node RAC environment
  
  I followed my documents of the company for the OEM agent installation.
  
  I ran the command below
  
  agendDownload.linux_x64 - n < cluster_name > - c nodename1-vip, nodename2-vip
  
  I got below error
  
  Test to see if the nodes nodename1-vip, nodename2-vip are available
  GRAVE: YES-25023: the local node is not selected for the installation of this product. Include the local node in the cluster list, or perform the installation on the nodes on which the installation must be carried out.
  
  
  Can someone help me why I got error. I ping the VIP and am able to ping.
  I have another doubt. I have to mention the name of vip or just hostname?

  We are trying to install a 10.2.0.4 on AIX 5.1 OEM agent.
  Just at the moment where we get to 90% complete, we get an error about "local".
  
  When I checked the log file for the InstallActions, I find hundreds of errors related to:

  We are trying to install a 10.2.0.4 on AIX 5.1 OEM agent.

  I don't think that this is supported.

  I guess, you install 10.2.0.1(Still non pris en charge), since there is no 10.2.0.4 full installer.

  This occurs because the RESPONSE_FILE must be given at the C:\software\12.1.0.1.0_AgentCore_233\agent.rsp and not up to C:\software\12.1.0.1.0_AgentCore_233
  Please let me know if that solves the problem

  I have already installed OEM 10 g Grid Control SGD on my linux server which has also EBS R12.1.
  
  I want to manage our EBS 11i that resides on another server
  
  I downloaded the file Linux_Grid_Control_agent_download_10_2_0_2_0.zip of RTO,
  and put it on the server target and unzip it.
  
  Then I runInstaller and choose Add a management server.

  But in Fox browser fire linux server, I can access it using > http://server01.abc.com:4889 / em
  
  I don't understand why this simple thing to follow just stuck with this
  
  Oracle Configuration Manager > there is a button "Test connection" here.
  
  And he's not on it. How to test connection from the operating system command prompt? What order did
  screen used to validate the connection to the SGD server?
  I missed something? a prerequisite may need by this connection?

  As far as I know the only way known to start/stop an officer from the East through the command line.

  In Enterprise Manager Grid Control (I 10.2.0.4), click on the tab "Targets" on the top of the main window, and then clicking on "All the targets" on the sub-tab. On the window that appears, select 'Agent' in the menu drop down to the bottom of the window, leave the search field and click go to view all configured agents.

  By clicking on any name of the agent that results, you will see information on the agents, but there is no start and stop operation you want. (This is where they would be if they are available)

• DBConsole error - "Agent unreachable".

  IM facing problems with my Oracle 11 g (Enterprise Edition). The DBConsole fails to start in the services. It produces error "Windows has no start OracleDBConsoleorcl on the local computer.

  When you are logged in DBConsole browser page and the error is indicated here 'status - inaccessible Agent '.

  My DB still works fine without any problems. IM access DB using SQLPLUS commands. Issue seems to be with only DBConsole.

  Hope someone could help me on this issues.

  After changing the time zone, you must reset the time zone and update the repository as follows:

  You hit the bug 6318004. The version of the agent control database comes with the database version 11.2.0.3 has the fix for the problem. If necessary, see support Note 1388432.1.

• vSphere HA Agent unreachable

  I have a few nodes in a small group to spear the ball errors when I try to Reconfigure for HA. /var/log/FDM.log for one of the involved hosts a lot of:

  Errors are recorded once per second. Once a minute there are many SSL error when connecting to the master. Write failed: broken pipe stuff kind.

  Guests are able to ping IP on the other. It's late, I'm tired. What Miss me?

  Good grief. I have been tired. The fix has been to re - enable and disable HA in the cluster. No more errors.

  I have OEM GC 10.2.0.5.0 / g 11 DB running on a redhat Server 5. I normally install manually the OEM agent on other machines, but I would like to make agent OEM integration feature works for me, but I can't do it. When I go to the tab "Mutations", section Installation of the Agent, Agent to download the software and click on the "Download" button I get an error: "internal error occurred. Check the log file for details. "I was following in emoms.trc. I checked clearly as an internet connection. A couple of things, I wonder about where is agent downloaded from and make I need to specify credentials somewhere?

• cannot access 11 GR 2 locally via sqlplus or OEM.

  I have a windows 2008r2 Server [computer 3]. I installed the Oracle 11 g 2 on this server, the SID is [orclvm3]. (almost all default option)
  
  Now when I connect computer server [3], I can't access the database via sqlplus
  c:\ > sqlplus sys/syspassword@orclvm3 as sysdba
  error message: ORA-12154: TNS: could not resolve the connect identifier specified.
  
  On the server, I tried opening the page https://localhost:1158 / em. I can connect, but I don't see the server status in the 'home' tab, it shows: agent unreachable. quite strange in "server" and the "schema" tab, I see all the tables and users.

  You must create a listener and tnsnames.ora files if you want to connect as a client.

  Port listening on the server and the tnsnames.ora on the client computer where you want to connect from.
