start/stop using OEM agent

Hello

Please provide the steps to start/stop the agent using OEM [not via command line interface]

Rgds

Hello

As far as I know the only way known to start/stop an officer from the East through the command line.

In Enterprise Manager Grid Control (I 10.2.0.4), click on the tab "Targets" on the top of the main window, and then clicking on "All the targets" on the sub-tab. On the window that appears, select 'Agent' in the menu drop down to the bottom of the window, leave the search field and click go to view all configured agents.

By clicking on any name of the agent that results, you will see information on the agents, but there is no start and stop operation you want. (This is where they would be if they are available)

I hope it's useful for you,
Kind regards
Grummy

    Concerning

  • Bookmark, behavior of recording at the start of the replication Agents stopped.

I have a few questions about two-way replication for 1 DSN on TT 7.0.5 with recording on disc.

    (1) If replication agents are stopped on the two machines, the log files will be stop being written? Or they do not accumulate?

    (2) when the agents are started, continue replication from the original bookmarks?

I am trying to determine 2 machines become out-of-sync when agents are arrested, DSN continue to be updated, and then the agents are started.

    Thank you
    Linda

I will answer all questions in a position if you don't mind:

+ (1) If replication agents are stopped on two machines, the log files will be stop being written? Or they do not accumulate? +

Each stream replication (with bi-direactional there are two streams, A-> B and B-> A) has a (start, stop, failure, break) State which is independent of whether or not the replication agent is running (the replication agent is what does the actual capture, propagate, apply, recognize the steps).

Start - journal of bookmarks are kept and if repagent reads the flow of replication occurs.

Stop - no bookmarks are kept (the logs can be purged), no flow even if repagent is running.

Failure - same as stop but only set automatically by the system, typically exceeding of THRESHOLD of LOG.

Break - bookmarks keeps, no flow of replication occurs even if repagent is running

The default state of a stream is 'start', but this can be handled through ttRepAdmin and can be set automatically if e.g. JOURNAL THRESHOLD is exceeded. So stop repagents on one or two machines does not change the State of the movement. Newspapers will be accumulated until the repagents are restarted.

+ (2) when the agents are started, they continue replication since the original favorite? +

Yes, everything will be the original bookmarks. Note that unless you have strict support this scenario of partitioning can exacerbate problems of conflict.

I am trying to determine 2 machines become out-of-sync when agents are arrested, DSN continue to be updated, and then the agents are started.

As long as you have the workload of strict partitioning to ensure no conflict, then there is no problem. Without workload partitioning then the divergence is possible even in normal conditions and even if conflcit resolution is used.

What is the best way to monitor this log space is approaching a complete state of disc?

This really a level o/s problem. You can use a script that is executed regularly that analyzes the output of something as 'df k' or you can write an application that uses the o/s relevant calls to monitor the space in the file system. It's easier if the newspapers have a dedicated disk (which in any case, they should have for performance reasons). Side Timesten, you can use ttBookmark to see if the 'hold' LSN is starting to fall further and more behind the 'current' NSE This is an indication that the replication is not able to cope with the workload and that newspapers are piling up so.

  • How to use 1-channel analog input for start/stop aquire sample second channel input analog?

I have a little problem. I've just been programming in labview for 2 weeks.

I'm trying to figure out how to use my channel of analog input on the USB-6009 case for start/stop (reference trigger and start) presented to the second analog input channel samples.

I need the first analog input string to operate continuously and control sampling on the second.  When the second channel will start sampling program brings a new graph each time and saves it (I have all this that figure out).

How can I configure the trigger so the lance program presented in for the second channel when the 1 channel reached above 2V (e.g.) and stop when it falls below 2V.

I use a pressure force sensor on the first channel that gives me straight (up to) 5 V when it is pressed and nothing when it is not...

    Thank you.

    Grand... Thanks for the information!

But can't I then make a 1 channel instead and wait until that meat of the max element value?

  • Trying to restore my calendar of office and then stop using iCloud

Is there a way to restore my contacts and calendar to desktop from iCloud, save them, and then disconnect from the iCloud without losing my data?

I was never able to synchronize to iCloud without problems, multiple contacts, desktop calendar lock trying to sync, etc.  I restored my iPhone and cleaned the contacts with iMazing duplicate (which have yet to duplicate groups) so I have something to use on my phone at the moment. I am disconnected from iCloud on devices and the system prefs. until I have find this.

While cumbersome, and a one-way path, sync via iTunes was reliable. I used only iCloud to locate my phone. As I could not to iCloud master, I want to go back to the manual synchronization.

I'm in trouble with this one. My timing is critical. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi sdb2013,

I understand that you no longer want to use iCloud for keep your data synchronized between your devices.  I'll include information here for troubleshooting iCloud, just in case you change your mind.  The first thing I would say is to make sure that your MacBook Pro is backed up via Time Machine and your iPhone is saved via iCloud or iTunes.   Then, take a look at the resources below that shows the steps to follow to back up all data you have in iCloud.   If you disable the iCloud as calendar features on your iMac, you will be asked if you want to keep the data on your computer.  It would be a starting point.

Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac

Archive or make copies of your data to iCloud

iCloud: change the settings of the features in iCloud

You can change the iCloud features you use on any of your devices by turning functions on or off. You can also disable iCloud completely.

When you disable a function iCloud on a device, information stored only in iCloud for this feature are no longer available on the device. If you turn off your Mail, Contacts, calendars, Notes, reminders, iCloud photo library or iCloud Drive on a single device, you can always review and change your information at iCloud.com and on another device you have set up for this feature.

In some cases when disable you a feature in iCloud on a device, you can choose to keep a copy of the feature on this device information. The copied information is not synchronized with iCloud. If you disable mail, Contacts, calendars and tasks in iCloud for Windows on a computer Windows, information stored in iCloud remain available in Microsoft Outlook, but it is not updated with your other devices.

Before you disable a specific feature on all your devices, or before shutting iCloud completely, you can archive a copy of your iCloud computer data. For more information, see the Apple Support article Archive or make copies of your iCloud data.

Turn on or off features iCloud

Depending on the settings of the device you want to change, do one or more of the following:

On your iOS device: go to settings > iCloud, then type to enable or disable features iCloud.

On your Mac: choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click on iCloud, and then select or deselect each feature.

Some features are not available or are listed differently in older versions of OS X.

On your Windows computer: Open iCloud for Windows, and then select or deselect each feature. To have your changes take effect, click on apply.

    • Some features are not available on your Windows computer or are listed differently, depending on whether your computer has Microsoft Outlook 2016 or earlier installed.

Installed Outlook: use iCloud Mail, Contacts, calendars and tasks in Outlook. Note that iCloud callbacks are called tasks in Outlook. If you turn off your Mail, Contacts, calendars and tasks, iCloud information remain available in Microsoft Outlook, but it is not synchronized with iCloud.

Not installed Outlook: use iCloud Mail, Contacts, calendars and reminders in your web browser on iCloud.com.

    • If you select bookmarks and your computer a Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox installed, you can click Options to select Windows which bookmarks you want to keep up-to-date with bookmarks in Safari on your iOS devices and browsers Mac computers, set up for iCloud Safari. For more information about browsers supported by iCloud for Windows, see the Apple Support article system requirements for iCloud.

    Completely disable iCloud

Depending on whether you want to stop using iCloud on all or only certain devices, do one or more of the following:

On your iOS device: go to settings > iCloud, then at the bottom of the screen, tap Sign Out (remove the account IOS 7 and earlier).

Note: If you disconnect from the iCloud (or delete your iCloud account), iCloud is no longer the backup data of iOS. You can always save your device in iTunes. For more information, open iTunes, then choose iTunes > help.

On your Mac: choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click on iCloud, and then click Sign Out.

On your Windows computer: Open iCloud for Windows, and then click Disconnect.

Note: If you have activated the automatic download of music, app, or book of purchases (in the iTunes preferences or settings on your iOS device), your iTunes purchases are always uploaded on your devices.

  • What percentage should you start/stop plug your macbook pro?

I'm about to get a MBPr (early 2015 version) and I really want to have a long service life. I'll use it for about 5 years, until the College, which is quite long and probably a lot of users have it broken at that time here.

    • is there a certain percentage where I should start and stop it plug to a battery in good health? (e.g. use it until you go down to 40% then load 100% completely and repeat)
    • or is it also ok for him have charged 24/7 (as in almost never off the record) to maintain cycles down? I saw so many people say yes, but many also say it will ruin the battery.
-a similar question, if I load 100%, I have to unplug it already or can I keep connected? and if I don't respect plugged, when the best time to unplug?

I actually read a lot (as in a batch.) items already on the time to load, but then it's so many conflicting and contradictory responses and I don't know what it takes to follow (I'm also sure that some answers here will be contradictory between them as well, but I guess it's just inevitable). I'm sure from what I've read, just that lithium-ion batteries hate deep discharge, so I won't. Other than that, I'm still pretty confused on what's left to follow.

Sorry if I seem like I'm overthinking it too, but nothing comes cheap nowadays and I really want this to last. any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    He man,.

-There is no percentage which is thought to be the percentage of start to use the charger. But often the people on this forum say they charge their macbook when they want, making sure to unload the macbook less than 20% just about once a month.

-You can leave it loaded 24/7 If you want to. but I would recommend for battery less than 20% once a month or more. You can leave it connected after that the battery is fully charged.

also accept that your battery will lose deep performance over time and as long as you don't release it your battery will be great for years to come and enjoy.

    Cheers!

  • Start, stop, step chart generator

I would like to get into the start, stop and frequency step to build a table that will contain the value of to feed to a sweep generator.

I have something that works, except for one thing; the timeout value. I can't get this thing to stop on the stop frequency value. The step value seems to affect it too much. So could someone take a look at my vi and help me with this? In addition, the code seems a bit complex for what might seem like a simple thing to do.

Anyway, here's a slightly simpler implementation of your code. As you can see, you the codes was much more complicated than necessary!

Below is the implementation of the model of ramp (recommended). Both give the same result for entries healthy of mind.

I would certainly use the ramp model, because it has the better error handling (for example if the delta is zero or maximum is + Inf, etc.).

You can view the code to learn something.

You will need to pay attention to possible accumulations of bit errors, especially with fractional steps that cannot be fully represented in binary (e.g. 0.1)

  • Photosmart C6180 problem of Power-Up/Power-Down - loops on/stop/start/stop etc.

I had the C6180 Photosmart wireless connected to a Mac OS X 10.5.6 laptop Macbook Intel and IBM PC XP SP 2 for more than 2 years.  I did have major problems with the printer.

Recently, I have known a couple of electric in my house.  Since then the printer has turned off randomly once or twice.  Today the printer began to turn off/on/off/on/turned off/turned on etc.

It lights up and shows the HP logo and process bar animation for one minute, followed by the message: "abnormal termination.  To avoid damage on the button to turn off the printer.  Do not use a wall or the band switch to close.  Press OK.  Then he stops and leaves upward.

I tried to enter batch Mfg mode by organizing the * and # keys.  It flashes "Mfg commands - enter special Key Combo" for the second of two, then stops and makes a loop on/stop/start/stop again and again.

I have disconnected all data cables, installs the printer in another room, closes the wifi on both computers and connected directly to the wall on a different circuit to eliminate problems of low power as the culprit.  I swapped the power cable between the wall and the block of the AC adapter with the same exact type of cord of another piece of equipment with the same results.

I wonder if it is a symptom of a surfboard logic damaged in the printer, or a problem with the AC adapter?

If it is the logic board, does pay to get it fixed?  An equivalent printer for Mac would cost about $200.  Not to mention that I came just to have stored on cartridges.

What is a likely indication of a problem of brick AC adapter?  If so, should I spring for a replacement block AC adapter for $30?

I was not able to find this question in a post on the forum and I was wondering if it's 'Au revoir' to the C6180?

Thank you for your contribution to this number

    Try this:

    1. If the printer is still on, unplug all rigid and flexible cables at the back of the printer.

2 unplug the power cord also from the wall...

    3. wait for two minutes.

4 reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet first.

    5. hold the pound (#) and six 6 buttons.

    6. all by pressing the two buttons, reconnect the power cord to the back of the printer and at the end of two seconds, exit book and six buttons.

    7. turn on the printer if it goes out...

    Let me know the results.

Either wait a few minutes until you press play, download the video to your hard drive and then watch, make sure you go to your internet connection at full capacity, so try to use maybe a wired network instead of wireless, I sometimes look less people will use internet or upgrade to a better download speed of your internet provider.

    Hello

I bought Vista Home Premium in 2008 or early 2009, but I stopped using it since end of 2010, it's nearly two years to not use my vista. I recently tried to install on my Mac but couldn't activate it.
Is there a way to activate it again?
My old laptop got damage, still shows blue screen, that's why I stopped using vista, he could hardly manage ubuntu.
    Thank you

    Hello

If Vista is preinstalled on your old laptop (Acer, HP, Dell, etc.), it is an OEM license and not transferable to another machine.

An OEM license is tied to the first machine that is installed on the OEM license dies when this machine dies.

But if you have purchased your own Vista Retail License and installed yourself on this laptop, you can transfer the license to the retail on another machine.

Just make sure that it is only installed on one machine at a time.

And phone Activation may be necessary when installing a license retail on another machine.
