• How much noise is expected on 6353 digital output lines?

  I'll send a signal to pass a set of relay reed with the port on a pci-e 6353. When the line is low, the noise is ~ 10 mV. When it is high, the noise is ~ 30-40mV. The noise seems to be done through the signal lines in the reed relays.

  What is the level of noise that is expected?

  I intend to move to electrostatic armoured relay. Meanwhile, the filter mentioned in the manual of 6353 only apply the digital input?

  Here are the results of my 6353 running a DO loop to HAVE (high and low)

  

  So, at the logical level above I see noise on the order of what you described.  Logical low my noise is significantly lower.  I guess it depends really how noisy your mass plan is and what does the Board of Directors, as well as what is connected to it.

  * Edit, I suppose a more legitimate test would be to use an array 2 to measure the output voltage.  I still think that this test has some merit by showing that little noise on the line is not uncommon.

  In any case, since the lines are outputs digital, the spec just says that they must reach TTL voltage levels (< .4v="" for="" a="" logic="" low,="">2.4V to the logic of the top).  I did all the typical numbers for the noise on the lines, but what you see does not seem unreasonable.  Have you tried the bypass capacitors by adding to your relay by chance?

  And I'm working on a project where I have to order 6 relays via lines outputs digital data acquisition in question. (USB-6353)

  Each relay is ONE for dry and OFF 1 for 9 seconds. But they all should be out of phase. If only 1 relay is active at a time.

  Can someone help me with this in Labview.

  Hello, everyone!

  I m using USB 6251 OEM for more than two years without major problems, but my applications are increasingly complex and OR start offering NI USB 6353, with many improvements, mainly on the transfer speed.

       My problem is: using 6251 I run an application that generates analog data with 100KS/channel (2 channels) and generates a digital stream data with 1MHz, 8 bits wide. Both tasks are Nsamples mode, without regeneration and can´t stop or loose data while running. It works really fine on 6251. On labview, just changing the necessary (using Daq Assisant to replace tasks) to use 6353 an error message appear on screen:

Due to the limitations of system and/or the bandwidth of the bus, the driver could not write data to the device fast enough to track the rate of output of the device. Reduce your sampling rate, or reduce the number of programs that your computer runs at the same time. »

  If 6353 is faster than 6251 why this error just on 6353? 6353 is worse than 6251 inthis?

  Hi André,.

  I m waiting for a work around to fix this bug. In my application, I use this way to generate waveforms for more control. The application control how many cycles is generated on each stage, based on digital input, digital output stream is also controlled. In this way is really important have these two tasks running at the same time. We have the same tasks on 6251 and we decided to migrate to 6353 because it has more channels and improvements on communication.

• Outbreak of several digital lines of a single window using PCI 6353

  Hello

  I use a PCI 6353 to control a laser for a PIV system. The laser requires 4 pulses (F1, F2, T1, T2) on different channels. It would be easy using 4 counters on the Board, but I also need to trigger the camera. The card has a lot of output digital, so I thought I could use 2 meters and four digital outputs.

  I thought that, by setting the pulse counter from 0 at a time duration between F1 and T1 and triggering a rising edge and T1 F1 a front down using output internal), I would be able to solve the problem. However, the system I cannot trigger the two lines of the same internal output. I don't know why. I have attached two vi, one for a single channel that works very well and the other with two channels. I am also attaching a diagram of approximate time of my proposed solution.

  I am not absolutely put on this format, so if this is not possible and you have another solution, please let me know. Accuracy is the key here, the widths of pulse being about 1 microsecond and the intervals between F1 and Q1 being approximately 10 microseconds, so I think the hardware timing is essential. However, I'm not quite clear on interact it with the digital pulses and counters.

  Hey Joe,

  All the lines that you want to use for quick time ARE on the 6353 must be in the same spot.  Unfortunately, you can't start or clock several lines independently.

  That said, I think that the simplest solution would be to simply create a waveform suitable for generating all 6 signals with.  You should be able to clock up to 10 MHz, which gives you 100 ns resolution.  If you need 1 us resolution, then you could get by synchronizing the c to 1 Mhz.  While you could technically use a combination of counters and to get what you need, it should not be necessary in your case.  All you need is a single task with the waveform appropriate to generate your desired signals.

• Digital output to a different voltage?

  Hi all

  I finally finished my program of data acquisition for the laboratory, which made the acquisition of AI voltage multi-channel digital outputs with timed to control the gas valves. My post-doc asked an additional feature, however, which must be able to have the analog output... It turns out that what he really wants to do with the feature is to have output digital, but with a different voltage value (he never hears on the sending of information higher or lower in a simple experiment).

  Now, the program is set up to run digital output now, it would be quite a bit of work to change in a zone of OCCUPATION. Is it possible to simply change the settings somewhere to have the ups to DO at a different voltage? I hope that this is the case from a card of 10 dollar Arduino can do 5V or 3, 3V.  Our DAQ card is the NI PCIe-6353. I looked through the data sheet and found nothing.

  Well, it is just too bad for the post-doc.  Maybe he should give you better requirements next time

  OK without being in a bad mood, it is not a way to change the digital output voltage.  When you talk about DIO cards really aims to communicate only high or low and have a voltage. The only other option would be to use 4 AO ports on the card and treat them programmatically as DO.

• Update of the "couldn't find any output device" after the Sierra

  I've updated my iMac (model 14.2) of OS X El Capitan with macOS Sierra yesterday. The update went smoothly except that once the complete update, the Office and I logged the volume in the menu bar icon is grayed out. I immediately opened settings, assuming that the update had deselected somehow my default audio output device (a pair of external speakers, in this case). But when I went on the audio menu, I was surprised to see "not found any output device.

  I have looked around a bit and have not yet found anyone else with this problem. I became so desperate to get my audio that I even tried installing 3rd party 'Voodoo' audio driver, but it gave me the option for "Digital out (HDMI)" which is of no use to me, I have the mac connected to a TV via a VGA adapter and it does not have a HDMI adapter. One thing it stated however is that somehow during my got deleted and never replaced Applehda driver upgrade, or install a driver on 3rd wouldn't have added of output devices to list (albeit dimmed those outside and totally dysfunctional). So at this point, that I am at a loss, I know not how to replace the driver, where or how I would install it so any help is greatly appreciated. Danke!

  Thanks for the upgrade to Mac OS Sierra! I see that you have lost your audio output device once you upgrade. No worries. Great way to try to get your audio works using another audio driver. Given that this has not solved the problem, please try to reset the NVRAM.

  A small amount of memory on your computer called "non-volatile random - access memory" or NVRAM, stores certain settings in a location that OS X can access quickly. Settings that are stored in NVRAM are dependent on the type of Mac you use and the types of devices on it.

  Selection of boot drive

  Can someone help me with the apple tv connection to my TV? My TV has only hdmi output which I already use for a satellite dish. The only other available exit is the HARD drive, but I only have a hdmi cable to hdmi. Is there such a thing as hard drive hdmi cable to? any help would be appreciated.

  I guess it's a usb port on your tv labled as a hard drive. If that's true, you can get a cable hdmi to usb - if there is such an animal.

  Then, I upgraded tvOS 10 last night. Now, all the movies content on Netflix or iTunes won't play with audio when I output 5.1.

  I have my TV connected to a HDMI/optical splitter so that it can feed my Sonos Playbar. Prior to the update of the audio has been correctly be pulled the HDMI cable and divided optics 5.1 true, as stated in my application of parameters of Sonos. Since the update, I have to stereo to get all the sounds, which is so obviously not true 5.1.

  Someone else had this problem? Any ideas on a solution?

  Try the Bike ATV power and sound systems. It is working for me with HDMI to TV and optical out to A / V receiver. It has no reason for the software of the ATV to make it different than before.

  I intend to play a CONCERT with MainStage 3 this weekend, and I'm trying to find a way to make it work. I sing and play on the keys or on guitars. I add a few effects on channel strips in the. I know I could put just outputs of the channels output material, but this will not cause me not to hear anything.

  Is it possible to send a string to two independent outputs? for example 1-2 (as my monitor) output and 3-4 for the console?

  Why you say that? Who should produce sound...

  But let´s okay focus on your question.

  Use option 2 - create a channel at concert level and name such as keyboard and output than your 1/2 material on and do as well send you want.

  To choose the post pan, fader pre or post fader, just wait click in the shipment, and the options displayed.

• How to get the creation Date of the site recorded for the footer output (printing to PDF)?

  If you go to Page Setup in Firefox, the option for the footer is the date and/or time of output. I don't want today's date that its print, but would rather than the Date of the creation of this web session saved as it is important to display this information with a legal matter. The research that has been done on a computer is out of date of creation down instead. I know that I could add the date by using the custom field for a footer in the Page options but prefer automated sound somehow when you print to a PDF (CutePDF). Please let me know.

  You might be able to automate this process if you open your PDFs with Adobe Acrobat Pro and make sure that the PDF file has a date of receipt:

• Apple TV 4th Gen Audio output

  I want to play music through surround sound in the basement and also echo a speaker floor upwards.  I have both put in place, but the menu will only allow me to select one or the other.  Will there be a software update that will allow the selection of the output multiple audio.  In the end, it would give me a whole House stereo system.
