of the photo preview

I can't preview photos on your computer Windows Vista Home Basic to what I open them with a program. What happens is that when I upload photos or even existing photos that are on my computer cannot be displayed by opening with a program rather than simply being able to view the photo looking in the folder. All you see is the image number and the default picture of the ocean and the mountain which is beautiful, but very difficult to choose pictures to download, send or print. I tried to change the views and still no pictures until you open actually to the top of the image. Thanks a lot for your help.

    Greetings, d_chiuch1104,

There is one thing that I know that you need to check that COULD be your problem.  Open Control Panel (in Classic view) and click Folder Options (or, in Control Panel, click on appearance and personalization and then Folder Options).

Open the view tab and make sure that "Always show icons, never thumbnails" is NOT checked.

It would be good to hear from you as to whether that was the problem!

    Miniatures,

Open your my pictures location, click organize in the upper left corner, click folder and search options, click the View tab and uncheck the top option, always display icons and never thumbnails, select apply to records on the top and apply and OK on the bottom.

If the photo thumbnails appear now but look washed on a right click and select Properties, on the section of the general tab, uncheck the box for the hidden attribute and save it.

Return to your location of my pictures, change the display of the page on the top of the right side next to the question mark symbol, there is another symbol with a drop-down arrow, click it and select the medium or large icons options specified.

I use a PC and I used LR3. I'm a newcomer to LR, so patient with me! My problem is related to the import function.

I have a photo library on an external hard drive. I've slowly been import previews of the photos selected from the library in my catalog, adding them during the import process - well. But now, I hit a problem. Another folder in my library contains several subfolders, each containing a number of photos (a mixture of RAW steals (naves) and jpg). I was importing found in my catalog each Subfile in turn, using the Add function, usually of the jpgs only from each Subfile. It works fine, until I reached a particular Subfile. For some reason when I try to import from it and select the secondary file as a Source, only the RAW (NEF) images appear in the preview pane (sorry, forgot the correct term for it!). I know that jpg files are in this auxiliary file on the external hard drive, because when I view its content in Windows, they are all there. But try as I can (choose the file under source, select the folder parent as a source, try to copy or move them, instead of adding them), nothing seems to work. Since they do not appear in the preview pane, I can't import them. It does appear that this a Subfile where the problem exists, but I don't see anything that is different from the others (names of files under all use the same structure - yyyy-mm-dd_custom name, and pictures in all subfolders are adopting the same denomination structure too - yyyy-mm-dd_sequential number_custom name.) NAVE/JPG. So what I am doing wrong? Any ideas please.

It is possible that the images in this particular subfolder were taken in your camera in RAW + JPEG.  If so, you will need to go to preferences under the general tab and make sure the box "processing JPEG files files next to raw as separate photos" is checked.

However, assuming that this is the case, there is really no reason to import the JPEG file if you already have the RAW file.

Try to use a script to process your PDF as Image, or Image Processor Pro image converter processor.  These script can open a PDF with PDF optrions to circumvent the pop-up.  I opened the PDF in Photoshop.

  • How to preview the Photos at 100%?

I'm not very savvy Photoshop, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question.

I use Adobe Bridge CS4. I need to browse a lot of photos and see what they look like at 100% magnification. How do I do that? The bridge preview always fills the window, and I can't understand how to change the magnification at all, and still less by default.

Select the image, press the space bar and use the scroll wheel to change the zoom level, then press Page up/down to move between images

  • Hello! The tutorial of Stock said: you can change the watermark Preview photo...

... and then after having bought the pic you do not have to edit the photo again. Is this true? Someone at - it Expreience with whom?

    Thanks in advance

    Alex

Well, it really depends on how edit you. For example, I do a lot of posters of theater in which I use Stock images. I always work in Photoshop with the low resolution image to be sure it's what I want. And Yes indeed once I finished my poster I can license then the image from Photoshop and I'm done. But the trick is that changes should be no destructible. For example, if I am in Photoshop and use mixtures, filters, masks and everything which does not physically alter the original image it will work fantastic and is one of the best reasons to use stock.

Now, if I took another picture and used in a product no Adobe or cropped it or somehow modified the image directly, then no he does it automatically.

Nice work and great uses that I use are:

-Adding images to Muse or Dreamweaver Websites

    -Adding images to Documents InDesign

    - And of course non-destructive retouching in Photoshop or Illustrator

-I do not know there is more in Stock integrates with other products. But those are my main uses and they work fantastic for the use of the low resolution in the project until the customer can sign on this subject. Then, it is indeed just a click for every right on the image in the Adobe application that I use for images of license.

Again, the key is there must be in a supported Adobe application, and there must be a non-destructive editing if no editing has been done.

  • Photo date change during transfer to external hard drive from the "Photos" application

    Hello

When I try to transfer the images to my request for 'Photo' on my Macbook (OS X Yosemite) to a hard drive external, the dates and times of the images change.

I would like to transfer only some of my images on the hard drive, so I can't make time machine.

Is it possible to keep the dates and hours of original photos when copying them?

Thank you very much for your help!

Select the photos and export (menu, file == > export)-this will include the Photo with date and time metadata in EXIF/IPTC fields for use by any porgram Photo (you can check this by using Preview)-as you create new files file metadata will obviously be new but we can't change the photo metadata

  • I get error messages when you try to edit or print some of my photos. "Unable to open the photos with the unavailable original files."  Some have been transferred from iPhoto, and some have been rewritten in photoshop elements. Any thoughts?

When you try to edit or print some of my photos I get the following error message: "Photos with the unavailable original files can't be op it gives you a drop-down list to find the original, but I had no chance."  Is there a way to 'do' an original or at least modify so it can be edited?

Pictures needs the original image file. This is to show you a preview in the browser, but to edit or export the photo of the original, file full resolution must be found.

What's happened before the photos have disappeared?  Photos crashed? You run an application to remove duplicates or to clean your Mac?  You have restored the library from a backup?

What version of Mac OS X you are running?

  • I just updated my software on my mac to capitan and downloaded pictures from my i phone in my library. The photos are displayed correctly in the library, but when I download on eBay, Kijiji, Web site, they are on the side here.

I've just updated my software on my mac to Capitan 10.11.4

I had no problems until now when downloading pictures from my i phone, which is also aware of the software updates.

Since the mac update, I now have problems with uploading photos.

The photos are transferred to the library and are displayed as it should, however when I try and add photos on Ebay, Kijiji, or my site the photos are displayed on the side here.

I can't upload photos on Autotrader at all now!

I have tried to turn the photos in the library, in order to temporarily solve the problem, but the photo then displays exactly how she has changed.

    Help, please?

    How do you access download?

try this select them in PHotos and export to a folder on the desktop - check the with preview to be sure they are correct and then download the desktop folder
