Office 2007 product key problem

Hi guys,.

I bought a new Toshiba laptop (that of £329.99) and I try to activate my Office 2007.

Office 2007 pre-installed with my laptop; If the product key was written on the bottom of my laptop.

Well, I have this Poduct Key 25 character entered my Office 2007 (when he invites me to do), but he repeated to me that it is incorrect, then I CERTAINLY know that it was the key to accurate product that was written on the bottom of the laptop.

Is there something wrong, that I could do that I don't know?

Can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this?

Kind regards

Brown bread

Hello

The product at the bottom of the device key does not belong to Office 2007!
It is up to the operating system that was preinstalled on your laptop and it is an OEM key that only work with the operating system comes with the laptop!

As I m not wrong not Office 2007 pre-installed on your laptop is a trial version.
Check exactly in the operating instructions!

If Office 2007 is not enabled (or it came only as a trial and the trial has expired), you may be able to buy the product to get a product key.  You can do this through Microsofthttp://store.microsoft.com/home.aspx or any what retailer (albeit with a retailer, you will need to purchase the full product rather than simply the product key).

If you had a key and lost, here's Microsoft policy about lost or missing software (including product keys):http://support.microsoft.com/kb/326246/en-gb.

    Hello

No, this isn't the Office product key, it is the Windows product key. Your machine has preinstalled TRIAL version. If you want to continue using it you have to buy the electronic identity card. I really hate this practice from suppliers and ALWAYS uninstall the trial version on my computers. Please visit the following link to buy the product key.

  • Word 2007 product key does not

This has been happing for awhile, I finally found the product key for Microsoft office 2007, but when I type in it says its not valid Please retype someone can help?

Where did you get the product key?

You must purchase the product key of Microsoft, if you want to save the special pre-installed version of office.

The key of product based on the portable computer is not for the office, it's only for Windows.

  • Laptop HP G62-451SA: cannot read the label for Office 2010 product key as it dissipated over time

Obliged to restore settings after a total crash.

Spent the whole day as recommended by HP, including using my recovery disk that has failed.

Tried to open Microsoft Office 2010 as usual, but said to give the product key to activate it.  Mine is on a sticker on the bottom of my laptop.  Unfortunately it is place to be where it is that some of the numbers have disappeared over time.  Now I can read only the last 15 digits.

Ages worn on Microsoft support pages and basically they said that the onus to solve this problem since I legally paid for it when buying their product to HP.

I'll lose more than a year of work, if I can't get this sort.

    Thank you.

The label on the bottom of your laptop is not for the office. It's your Windows license key. It should say Windows 7 Home Premium above the numbers.

Most of the HP machines come with a trial of office unless order you it with more full Office and pay extra. The trial usually actually works after the period 60 day trial - unless you do a recovery. After a recovery it will require you to buy a license key to use.

  • How to back up and restore Office 2013 product key or registration / activation file

Warning:  I posted this on Microsoft several 'community support Sites' and if I have yet to have a real Microsoft tech support address the question of the MAN, several 'MVP', but nobody has yet come with an entirely feasible answer, although they tried. One of the guys who posted something (after that I showed him proof that there is such a thing as a Dell OEM version supplied to MS Office Home & Business 2013 - originally, there was no such animal) was that I should "go back to Dell and ask them" so here I am. My original message is copied and pasted below...

I myself have read almost blind in the last 3 days and several hours now and I still cannot get to a definitive answer so I'll rephrase the question: How can I be save the Home Office & Business 2013 'activation file"(or token) or discover and extract the full product key for it?  After that I upgraded my Windows 8.1 Professional (32-bit) Dell to win 10 Pro I had horrible crash problems. It is obvious that I have to reformat and start from scratch. I managed to get the 10 Pro Windows product key using the latest version of Belarc Advisor but I'm hit a brick wall on my installation of Office Home & Business 2013. Not only is the Dell OEM version but I had to go through Microsoft once to get a new (replacement) product because of a problem earlier, key and since it is the OEM version there is no trace of it on "my account / Office products ' Microsoft page. apparently if you don't buy the commercial version, the product key is not registered there (but it is fully registered and operational, of course). Per this Microsoft article https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Find-your-Office-product-key-after-installation-026bc81b-6b2f-4052-b433-f41e6cc31c5a?CorrelationId=ca7068f2-6a47-4d71-942c-10591d4b00ec&ui=en-US&rs=en-US&ad=US and the Belarc program I can (and subsequently have) found the last 5 characters of the Key but that's not going to do me any good after the re-install unless I have the rest of them. I also tried all the other "key finder" programs suggested in countless other articles and none of them can find the key to the Office Home & Business 2013, or I couldn't do it in hacking / record research.  Simply, I can't believe that Microsoft has not made a provision for backup then restore a specific file "token" with the necessary info in it or extract the necessary key Code so that the Bureau could be reinstalled in the current scenario.  If all goes well a MS employee or some other Expert of the Office can provide concrete information, step by steps on how to do it.  Thanks in advance.

I sincerely hope that the other guys on the Microsoft Forums sent me in the right direction here; as the pesky Key Code for office 2013 has got to be stored in an accessible location (it is not on any Microsoft server that is accessible by our end users, that's for sure) and there must be some program or methodology around there to recover and decode the thing so it may be reinstated when the program is reinstalled...

This is the only place you will get your key. Finders key as Advisor of Berlarc do not give the full product key 25 digits unlike Office 2010 and earlier versions.

Main finders are useless for Windows 10 family as the free update uses based device activation and key finders will signal a generic product key. See here:

  • Missing Microsoft Office 2003 product key

I have Microsoft Office 2003 on an old computer that was given to me. Microsoft Office 2003 has never been installed on this computer but when I try to run it, it asks for Product Key.I never had the CD and the owner before me did not. How I can fnd the product key, or I can get around it somehow?

    Hello Arnie,

You will need to contact the previous owner of the product key if he or she had brought the Office 2003 program. Incase if the program is not authentic and the previous owner is not a product key, then you can buy the Office Suite and then you can install it on the computer. You can get the latest Office Suite which is available in the following links:

  • lost for microsoft office 10 product key

How can I get a product key for microsoft office 10?  Help!  Warranty is out says Microsoft computer company contact it was purchased from but cant seem to get any help.

    kdavis12508,

When you say you have lost the product key, this means that you have lost the physical product box and the drive?

product key real label is attached to a paper card, inside the plastic. Opening the case, remove the MS quick start guide to see the label.

If you have MS Office installed, the key can be found with Belarc Advisor: http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html

  • Expression Studio product key problem on re - install

I lived all the help from microsoft and supported sites and forums (and several others) and there are questions similar but although I can work on them (all sources) what's going on I can't find an answer, and the only way I can get the support of Microsoft is to pay for it because of this problem , emailing them led it is suggessted I ask here so sorry if I am repeating something already asked but I really don't know what else to do.

I bought Studio Expression a couple of years ago for my daughter (the memory blurred here but I am sure it's the version 1 but has been upgraded via download on 2 as a special microsoft encouragement - as they do now for 3-4).  It has been installed and works very well then the hard drive has not changed, re-installed and all worked fine again until a few weeks ago when problems of memory led to one perfect reformat and re-install. Studio expression re will not activate as it claims that my product key is not valid. I also can't support since it requires my product key and said "there is a problem" with him when I entered it.

Expression Studio now seems running on the 60-day trial license, I need to find a way to overcome this problem without having to hand over my credit card data to microsoft for support.

I had already decided to update its version (she uses it because his school do and they are still using version 2) but in no way can I do if the reason why I came to understand of what is correct.

My pc is custom made and as such comes with no software installed and so I buy all my separately from the software, it is not the OEM versions.  I have Windows Vista 64-bit on the affected system and everything worked very well on that front.

    Hi lollylou,

  • Upgrade Windows Vista Home Premium (not the valid product key problem) to Windows 7 Home premium

My friend gave a laptop computer whose OS is Windows Vista Home Basic Edition.  I format the computer and install a Windows Vista Home Premium I have for my desktop computer.  Now, I have a problem with a product key.  When I start the laptop, it indicates a product key requirement.  I enter my desktop OS product key, but I still see the declaration valid product key.  My question is this.  If I buy the upgrade to Windows 7, the operating system will work in the laptop even if she has a problem with the product key.  If I buy Windows 7 upgrade, there will be no problem with the product key?  Or do I have to buy a new Windows Vista Home Premium for the laptop?  Or if you know anywhere I can buy a product key for Windows Vista with a reasonable price?  Thank you

You cannot transfer a license from another computer to another computer, especially if the license came with this machine. You will need to purchase a new license.

  • OE upgrade and product key problem

I want to upgrade vista to windows 7 on my HP laptop. However, when I enter my product key for vista, I receive a message that is not valid. The software is the original that was on the computer when you bought it. What should I do?

    Hello

There was a free update of Vista 7 years ago, but this offer has expired for a long time.

How does the Windows 7 upgrade Option?

The Windows 7 upgrade Option is available through participating PC manufacturers on some PC and Microsoft on any purchase of packaged product Windows Vista. The Windows 7 upgrade Option applies to Windows Vista Home Premium, Business and Ultimate editions. Your upgrade to Windows 7 will be the comparable version: so you will get either Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Professional (upgrade to Windows Vista Business) or Windows 7 Ultimate, respectively. The Windows 7 upgrade Option program runs since June 26, 2009 by January 31, 2010. Some manufacturers may choose to shorten the time of upgrade Option.

There is no free upgrade Vista to 7, 8.1, or 10.

Follow these steps before you buy Windows 7.

Microsoft sells more than 7; Try Amazon.com.

Go to your computer / computer laptop manufacturer Web site and see if Windows 7 drivers are available for your make and model computer / laptop.

If this is not available, Windows 7 will not properly work for you.

I had my laptop hard drive crash. The laptop came with Vista Basic but without recovery or any disk system. You can not legally do a clean install with an upgrade disc.

Reinstall the Vista Basic > then go to the ultimate.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
