Is Office enterprise 2007 limited number of PC and versions of windowns i.e. XP and 7

My business office is installed on my PC with Windows XP Home, I'm looking to buy a second PC with Windows 7 installed.
I can run two PC on the same product key and different versions of Windows

Hello urang,.

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

Office Enterprise 2007 is available for Volume Licensing customers. Where did you get your key to Business Office that you have currently installed on your computer at home? If you have already installed on a computer running Windows XP, you can not use the same key on a Windows 7 computer. Therefore, you will need to check with your administrator and get another license key for activation on Windows 7 computer.

Bought Win Office Enterprise 2007 in April 2007, by Student Media Applications (at U Illinois Champaign, rather than student computer) and it won't let me activate the version that came with my Toshiba NB 305 netbook. How can I activate it. I mean when I repeatedly to enter the key correctly, it says that it is incorrect. Thank you.

    Hello Dave108,

Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.

Please see the information on the link from Microsoft Office, on how to install on a netbook.
But you will need to uninstall the trial version of the Office of your netbook. Then you will have
be able to activate your copy of the retail sales.

    I hope this helps.

  • 2203 error message when you install Office Enterprise 2007

I get a message of 2203 when you try to install Office Enterprise 2007. I uninstalled office 2007 trial that came with the pc first.  I also followed these instructions below I saw in a previous question with no luck.  The error occurs when my McAfee security alert appears and says that someone is trying to make a change to the system, and then click ok to continue.

Stop and restart the Windows Installer Service:

    1. Click the Windows menu button (formerly start) or press the Windows keyboard.
    2. In the search box, type Services and then click on the Services element that appears at the top.
    3. Expand the Services window, and then scroll down to Windows Installer.
    4. Right click on the Windows Installer list item and then click on stop, right click again and then click Start.

    * Add the group with full control permissions everyone to the list of permissions of the default temporary files folder:

    1. Click the Windows menu button (formerly start) or press the Windows keyboard.
    2. In the start search box type % temp %, and then click the Temp folder item that appears at the top.
    3. At the top of the window of the Explorer, in the address bar, click the folder to the left of Temp in the path of the folder (default Local).
    4. In the folder list, right-click the Temp folder and then click Properties and then click the Security tab.
    5. Click the button change... and on the next screen, click Add.
    6. On the screen in the window large text type everyone and then click on check names - everyone should then be highlighted.
    7. Check the Full control under the column allow and then click OK, then OK again and OK again to close all windows.

    * Run again the installation of Office 2007.

  • Office Enterprise 2007 installation on a XP Pro machine problems

After reboot, I have disabled all programs (including virus protection) and made sure nothing runs.  When I run the setup of Office Enterprise 07 and enter my code of the key, the installation begins normally.  About 3/4 of the way on the progress bar, the installation stops.  After the removal of the entry of the software being installed in the registry (recommended in another response), I try again the installation.  This time, it can happen at the end of the bar but not finished.  I can see the apps in the Solution Explorer, but they will not launch.  Tried everything I can think of several times.  Any ideas?

  • Microsoft office Enterprise 2007 encountered an error during installation

I got the error in the title of this but no other errors.  None of the KB articles was relevant.

I fixed it by deleting everything related to the Microsoft Office Document Converter that allowed me to open docx and xlsx files.

I uninstalled Microsoft Office Document Converter, but who do not have, so I had to use the Windows Installer Cleanup utility to remove it.
I deleted the whole program leader/Microsoft Office/12, 0.  In my case, there was some stuff of Visual Studio that I left in place.
I also deleted the keys in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Installer\Products\ which ended in 01FEC (for example 000021091A0090400000000000F01FEC) that were related to Office 2007 (thanks to McTheNite)

Is this a new computer? If so, is there a trial version of Office 2007 is installed? If you find my answer helpful, please click the button "Vote as helpful"! Thank you! My Blog

  • Outlook 2007 (Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007) w/Windows 7 Home Premium

I have a new PC w/Windows 7 Home Premium (e9280t) desktop and I loaded Office 07 Enterprise on this. Set up my Outlook with no other problems that I couldn't get a connection encrypted to the server so I had to go not encrypted. I picked up my mail from the server (my ISP is Verizon) without any problem. I tried to send an e-mail to my desk at work and he would not, saying that I had to check the header. I have checked and tried again without success. I have not any send/receive error codes. I kind of let it slide because I had to go to work and then I left for a weekend trip and so I forgot what kind of topic. Last night I tried to retrieve my mail and I get "Unknown error" 0 x 80040600. I searched on line and found that it has to do with the corrupted in my personal folder .pst files. The solution was to go to the Inbox Repair tool and run a scanpst.exe on the suspicious files. First of all, the solutions on the Microsoft online help page are for users of Vista or XP. I typed "scanpst.exe in the area of research, but '0' products were found. I finally understood where the scanpst.exe but did not know how to perform the task. I do not understand how I could have corrupted files in my personal file right out of the box. These files have been corrupted from the Office disc? I desperately need my Outlook that I hate the Webmail. For any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Managed to find the Inbox Repair tool and it took about 10 seconds for the tool to repair the file.

I can not install the following Windows updates:
Update for Microsoft Office System 2007 security:

Update of security for Microsoft Office Excel 2007 (KB982308)
Update of security for Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 (KB979441)

I get the error code 646.  If someone could help me, I would appreciate it.

    Hello

Here's what I recommend you do:

    1. disable UAC (do this if you are using Vista or Windows 7, otherwise, go to step # 2). Comes down

restrictions - turn it off completely.
2 restart your computer for the change to take effect.
3 re - download the update of security for Microsoft Office System 2007 (KB982331) from the link below:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=7f89a734-cda4-4abb-9a10-f6dfe560e8d0&displaylang=en
    4. install. It should work fine.
    5. If it still does not work, try to open all or part of your MS Office applications (such as MS Word, MS Excel, etc.).
    6. follow steps 3-4.
    7. If it still does not work, follow step # 3 again. After you download it, try unplugging your computer from

Internet (unplug the internet cable or turn off the modem). Then, try to install the downloaded file

(KB982331). It should work this time.

Do the same for all the updates that come with KB982331, IF ANY.
    Let me know your results.

  • Used windows clean up utility to clean up Office microsoft 2007! Help!

Office 2007 Enterprise programs no longer work.  I get the error: 1402 messages when I try to reinstall Office.  I can't remove the program, and the reonstall.  Is there a way to recover in Windows 7 or a way to remove Office and start over?

    Read this in the 1st link;

This article previously contained a link to the utility Windows Installer Cleanup (MSICUU2.exe). If you have been directed to this article to solve a problem in one product other than Microsoft Office installation, please contact your software manufacturer for installation on the product.

While the utility Windows Installer Cleanup fixed some installation issues, it sometimes damaged other components installed on the computer. For this reason, the tool has been removed from Microsoft Download Center. The Fix it Solutions in this article allow you to completely remove the suites Office 2003, 2007 and 2010 without damaging other components of Windows.

    It has now ceased.

  • Where can I find a "product key" for Microsoft Office Word 2007.

When I try to open Microsoft Office Word 2007, which is installed on my computer, I get this pop up asking for my product key. I have no knowledge of a product key and I don't know where it can be located. Anyone has an idea about this 'product key '.

    Thank you

Hello, the product key is normally printed in the retail packaging or is sent in the confirmation email in case you made a digital purchase. However there is a support forum for the mozilla firefox browser. If you continue to have problems to get the desktop software to work, please contact support Microsoft instead since it is their product.
