"Office Home and Student" (3 licenses home pc)

We HAD to reinstall vista on my wifes laptop.  I got a copy of "Office Home and Student" (home 3 pc licenses) on this laptop. If I reinstall, it will use a different install lic. # or use the lic. # He had on first installation?

It does not use another license. However, you may need to activate by phone after activation of the third.

  • Product key for microsoft office home and Student 2007 is the wrong type of key. Cannot validate the license.

I bought a pc laptop hp Pavilion dv2000 model in September 2007, of the circuit city which is no longer in business here. I used the microsoft office home and student software that was previously installed a dozen times. Whenever I go to use it it asks me to enter a product key of 25 characters for the license validation. I tried to enter, it accepts all characters except the last. I don't think I should pay for the support, I bought a software that was supplied with the pc. HP is no help because my one year warranty has expired. Microsoft wants to sell me a support package. The message said after 25 times to log on to the program without posting, I lose complete access. Does anyone have a solution to this problem I have? I have windows vista Home premium.

Microsoft Office does not come with a free version of Office installed; He never has.

What you have / have had a free trial of Office on your laptop.

The figure of 25 product key on the bottom of your laptop is Vista product key, not the trial Office of one.

You can buy Office, to use it. Mick Murphy

  • Reinstallation of microsoft office home and student 2010 once laptop back to factory settings

We will have our laptop sent through for repairs in which technicians will be restore to its factory settings.

I currently have a MS Office Home and Student 2010 installed & activated after the purchase of a product key and download & install the software. I've save a backup of the installation file and, of course, will ensure that I don't lose my product key.

I just want to ensure that I can reinstall MS Office in my laptop after that she is undergoing a complete restoration of the system. My license only allows me to install/activate MS Office on a single computer. I ask because I have no idea how the activation process will know that I am simply reinstall on the same computer or if a full restore of the system would make my laptop be "recognized" as another.

All the signs are pointing me to be able to do this. But I don't want to not ask. Please confirm that I have nothing to do except save my product key and the installation file.

    Thanks in advance.

As long as the repair does not have to replace the motherboard in the laptop, you should be able to reinstall the Office product without any problem.  Just ensure that your Win XP operating system is upgraded to SP3 before trying to install, as well as to remove any office trial programs that may have been resettled when the restoration was done.
  • Need to reinstall Office home and Student 2007

I got the suite 3 User License Microsoft Office home and Student 2007 installed on three PCs running Windows Vista. Then I bought three copies of Windows 7 and:

-Do an upgrade installation of Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit on a system already with Vista Home Basic 32 bit (Intel Core 2 Duo)
-Do a new installation of Windows 7 Home Basic 32 bit on a system already with Vista Home Basic 32 bit (Intel Dual Core)
-Do a new installation of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on a system already with Vista Home Premium 32-bit (Intel Core 2 Quad)

Since installing the office suite has been lost on the two latter systems, I need to know if I can reinstall it again using the same product key. Thanks in advance.

  • Buy Microsoft Office home and Student 2007

I bought the Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 for my laptop to buy full license. I received the confirmation email. The money has been debited to my credit card. I was able to download the program on the internet from Microsoft. Everything works very well. On the confirmation (as dated 26 May 2008) e-mail, it says "PHYSICAL PRODUCTS you will receive a separate e-mail notification when your products have shipped. However:

-In the 3rd quarter of 2008 my computer crashed and had to re - install everything new. When I tried to enter my product key (from my confirmation email) it wouldn't work. If since the 3rd quarter 2008 I do not have Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007.
-I did not receive the physical product and does not separate email notification.

    Can someone please.

Where you downloaded the version of student Office was that of Microsoft, or a less reliable source?

Have you tried to temporarily disable the software Anti Virus and other security type of execution, to see if, perhaps, they were causing the problem not being able to get the key for product is TICKING?  You can also try to remove all trial versions and any other failure installs automatically on your machine.  Clean your Temp files, launch Disk Cleanup too and once more to get your version of Office to accept your product key.  This program might be useful.

  • Problem installing Microsoft Office 2007 Home and student

    Hello

I'm all new to Microsoft Office home & student, so this is a newbie question.
I bought this product this morning and went to install it.  He said it was impossible to configure error and immediately stopped the configuration.

I have a trial MS Office on my computer also. Specifically, I wanted an an installation CD because I feel more comfortable with it on the download of this product without the CD.
I wondered if this product would not configure/install unless I entered the product key of the box in the trial version.  I did this and MS Office seemed to configure/install itself without further problems.

What is the proper way to install this program?  I hope that I will still have 3 PC licenses which were indicated on the product itself to do this way.
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Thank you very much.

    Uninstall the trial 1st Office.

I currently have Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010.  My Professional trial ended and I just downloaded Access 2010 and it won't work.  Any suggestions?

Microsoft Home and Student includes no access.

    Did you buy access?

If you want access, you will need to purchase a license for this.

  • Bought the office home and student.

I tried 4 or 5 times to download asking a the same question on every program I try to open. Enter the PRODUCT KEY! Does'nt Outlook open a what slep when you need so bad.  JC

If your computer has a trial version of Office Home and Student edition is installed, often what will happen is, it will also install other Office programs such as Access and Outlook that are normally not part of this edition. Its a methodology of upsell. If you have purchased only the license for home and student, only programs and Home and Student will be activated (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote). If you want the perspective, you can buy a key for that.
