OfficeJet J6480 scan several Documents into one file

Hello

I have an Officejet J6480 on a Mac. I want to scan several documents and saved it as a PDF file. I don't know how to do this.

Put the original in the high plateau of the loader page in the printer.  Open Device Manager from the Dock on your Mac HP and double click on Scan to PDF (or could say scan Document).

Thank you.  I always do the printer instead of the computer, so that it is useful!  Unfortunately, it works to scan; However, it would still not save them all as a single file.  I went back and checked the advanced settings, and is not checked to create a separate file.  He has created a file for all 5 pages.  He was using the file name I gave him and then added extensions 0001, 0002, 0003, 0004 and 0005.

    Ugh.  I'll try again.

  • How can HP LaserJet 3390 using Windows 7 - I scan several documents in individual files?

Printer works fine, scanner works fine, using Windows Fax and Scan according to the HP website and all is well when I want to scan documents one at a time.

However, when I put a stack of documents into the feeder and scan it turns into a single file of 10 pages instead of page files 10 1 as I need to.  It seems that there is an option in Windows Fax and Scan to do what I need (images to preview or scan as separate files under scan settings), but it is greyed out and I can't for the life of understand me how this box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

The easy way to do this would be to scan to a single image as a GIF, JPG or PNG format.  These image formats are not able to form muliple page documents such as TIFF and PDF.

If you want to create documents PDF or TIFF-single page then you will need to review advanced on this printer model analysis options.  Sometimes the printer will allow you to scan each page as an individual document by checking a box or by selecting a different profile from scan.

If not, you can still scan pages from a single document, and then re - print the document in the form of individual pages of an image editing application.  Let us know which app you use to view your documents as well as the image format you want to publish in so we can give you specific steps.

How to scan multiple documents into a single pdf file of ADF on my MX922?

  • scan multiple documents to multiple files

Is there a way to scan several documents at the same time and then drop them into a separate file?  I want to scan documents to and from different companies in different files.

    We invite you with pleasure!

To change the scanning settings, remember to follow the steps below:

    1. Click Start > all programs > HP > HP Officejet 4620 folder and click on the HP Officejet 4620 icon.
    2. Under settings for scanning, select scan a Document or Photo.
    3. Select the shortcut to scan PDF (Documetn to the file).
    4. in the left pane, click Advanced settings.
    5. Open the file tab.
    6. Check the box create a separate for each scanned page file , and then click OK.

Now using the specific shortcut will analyze each page in a separate PDF file.

You can also create new shortcuts in the list of shortcuts to have 1 shortcut for several pages and another for separate pages, however, know that only the default shortcuts will be available during parsing of the shortcuts of the Panel before the printer, custom created will be available from the HP scanning software.

  • scan several documents of network share would then break up the pages.

    Hello

I have install a scan-to-smb (server message block) where end users can scan several documents at the same time to a connected network share. Inbox email in this way they do not fill up there. The end-user has adobe reader x software latest version.

Lets give an example when she scans the 10 documents his is available as a single file, you can see the separate pages virtual once the file is open, is there a way to highlight 5 out of the 10 etc. and send and or save as a new group of 5, etc. She does not see this option. I thought it was a standard option\setting? If not how do configure you that or does need Adobe pro (I don't think) thanks for your help. Between you and me, the end user is the administrator and should be familiar with adobe and office desktop settings, but she's not here :-)

Reader users cannot change the content or combine pdf files. They can read the files, they can add comments, and save the content of the forms when authorized by the creator of the pdf file.

  • All-in - one Photosmart C8180: I'm unable to use the HP Solution Center to scan a document into the computer.

I downloaded the updated driver that is located on the HP site for this printer. I uninstalled and installed this driver three times. I keep getting an error message when I use the HP Solution Center to scan a document to a PDF file. I restarted the program, rebooted the computer and reinstalled the software, as had been suggested in the error message.  I'm losing my patience! Anyone have any ideas as to the cause and the solution to this problem?

    Hi @AMDK,

Thanks for getting back to me.

This is a document of support that has alternatives for scanning when Windows 10 does not work with the software of the printer - Scanner without HP (Windows 10) software.

  • Indesign Split document into single files

    Hello.

I am currently working on a magazine in Indesign. The customer wants that each article of the magazine provided in an individual folder (with all fonts and images used in the article, plus a PDF and an idml file in the same folder). So far so I had an Indesign document, manually that split into one Indesign file for each article, and then used the Package option for each item. Then opend every article saved as PDF, then as an idml file. As much of your time, I'm now trying to find a more effective way to do all of these steps. Any ideas?

Grateful for any help. Thank you!
