  I searched on the pages for the answer to this and not yet found, please be gentle if I missed it.

  Ships of Windows 7 in October 2009 and I have worked very happily with the Beta and LR 2.4.

  (Although some printing issues with trying to print the entire catalog rather than the selected image (quick catalog used to solve this))

  LR will get its official adhesive thumbnail of Windows 7 in this period of time, or that it will be longer?

  (I know that Adobe gives no dates, I am only after being reassured because I want to update my two computers for W7 and remove Vista & XP)

  As Geoff said there is no official word or semi-official adobe on win7, because it's not yet released.  Adobe (and all other companies than that).  I remember that they stayed mum on the imminent release of OS x 10.5, and I don't know that the same issues were raised with Vista.  Given that the release is soon and LR works for you on the beta version. I just relax and wait for word (or an update) from adobe.  If an update is required, they are already working on it, if it does not need, then they will provide the certified on win7 info you are looking for after win7 comes on the market.

  Hello spangled101, just to clarify: aurora is a code name for the beta version of firefox hwere novelties are tested. the version that is aurora today will be available as firefox in a few months.

  Or do you want to listen to music while on Skype, but without other Skypists hear what you play? You can't with the establishment you currently have.
  In both cases, the audio device can only deal with a stream at the same time. Everything you put into it will come out, we cannot dissociate the sources. If you have 2 choices:
  -purchase and install a second audio device
  -Download and install a virtual audio device (Google and you'll find them, some are free)

  How can I print my Microsoft Surface running Windows 8 RT?

  Most new wireless printers have an impression of the Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 RT problem.  Everything you need to make these printers is tell them to print and they will.  Older wireless, Ethernet and USB printers should not have driver officially supported in Windows 8 RT, but there is a way to get the printer working.  There are different requirements depending on how the printer is connected to the Surface.

  Note: All the steps below are only for other HP ink Jet, DeskJet, PhotoSmart and OfficeJet printers.  These steps are not for Laserjet printers or printers from other manufacturers.  These steps may not work for all inkjet printers.  If these steps do not work, try different drivers in the list until you find the one that works (you'll understand what I mean once you follow the steps below).  If none of the drivers work, your printer does not work with the Surface.

  For (Ethernet or wireless) network printers, all you need is Surface keyboard or a USB keyboard to connect to the Surface.  It is simply what you have to type more easy to type.  You will also need to have the Surface and the printer connected to the same network.

  1. From the right edge, drag your finger to the left on the screen Surface to appear charms bar.
  2. Press search.
  3. Under the search box, tap Settings.
  4. In the search box, type devices and printers.
  5. Press devices and printers.
  6. Contact add a printer.
  7. Tap "my printer is not listed.
  8. Select the TCP/IP option and then press Next.
  9. Enter the IP address of the printer and press Next.  Note: You can get this from the network printer, or list DHCP in your router Configuration Page.
  10. The Surface will locate the printer and try to install it.  Installation fails, and the Surface will be asked what you want to do, look on the internet for the driver, or manually install the driver.  Choose to install the driver yourself.
  11. Press 'I want to choose from a list of drivers.
  12. If no driver is in the list, make sure that the box next to 'Show compatible drivers' is not checked.
  13. Choose HP in the production list.
  14. Choose driver DeskJet PCL 3 class in the list of drivers.  If this driver does not work, try using the Photosmart PCL3 driver, or the driver Officejet PCL 3.  (Thanks JonW for letting me know about these other alternates.) )
  15. Press Next.
  16. Tap Finish.
  17. Test print.

  For USB connected printers, need you a USB cable to connect the printer to the computer.

  1. Connect the printer to the computer via USB.
  2. Windows will try to find the drivers but will not be able to.
  3. Here Windows may ask you if you want to choose the driver to install.  If she go to step 14 below.

  NOR-traditional DAQ won't work on Windows 7 64-bit at all, even if you install the (very limited) driver beta OR - traditional DAQ 7.5.   I do not work with LabVIEW license much (data acquisition is my spring) but I understand that you can have different versions on different computers.  If this is the case, you must use OR-DAQmx 9.0.2 with LabVIEWs 8.2.1 and 8.5.1 8.6.1.  NOR-DAQmx 9.0.2 is the first version 'officially' supported on Windows 7, both 32 - and 64-bit.  As long as you use a 32-bit version of LabVIEW (which, if you're not using LabVIEW 2009, it will be inherently 32-bit) you binaries will work fine.

  Note: When I say "as long as you use a 32-bit version of LabVIEW' I do not mean a version that does not work on a 64 bit OS.  This section of the knowledge base, LabVIEW 64-bit vs 32-Bit Applications FAQ, explained part of the difference.  The main thing to keep in mind is that because Windows Vista and Windows 7 can emulate 32-bit programs to 64-bit well enough, you can still use a version of LabVIEW which is only 32-bit on a 64-bit computer.

  I don't know the number of tests we did install older versions of LabVIEW as 8.2.1 on Windows 7, but I guess it should work fine.  I would recommend this install it:

  1. LabVIEW 8.2.1
  2. LabVIEW 8.5.1
  3. LabVIEW 8.6.1
  4. Boxes to tools or modules of the foregoing
  5. NOR-DAQmx 9.0.2

  I found a solutiot for this. I already said it might be related to an unknown pilot and know that I have identified the faulty driver.
  First of all, yesterday I reinstalled Windows Pro 8.1 and today I was installing drivers for Windows 8.1 in HP Probook s 4545.
  Before I installed the drivers from Windows 8 for Windows 8.1 environment that HP has decided to publish the official drivers for Windows 8.1 for Probook s 4545 then I installed the new Windows driverst next to drivers of Windows 8 8.1 I had installed before. If this has caused this freeze/hang up.

  Secondly, I installed today that these drivers to Windows 8.1 that are ment for Windows 8.1 by HP. I installed without poblems until what the driver AMD/HP SATA have been installed. Then my pc started to freeze again. Then I registered this driver failing to Microsofts and freeze/hang up had disappeared.

  My suggestion is: Don t install WIndows 8 drivers on Windows 8.1, although manufactured products said it s compatible with the new operating system.

  In addition, I also uninstalled after Windows Update: KB2883200 and KB2895219. After these, I discovered that they were originally this gel too. After uninstalling them I don't have everything freezes. Tip: Disable any associated Flash programs or lines in the Startup tab, someone said it could be Flash related too so I have disabled the start IDM Flash, resulting in the freezing of the browser (and maybe OS too) and no more delay.
