  However, you can see the printer on the desktop icon you. Click it to open the Printer Wizard , and then click the Scan Picture ready.

  Just for info. Scanner works Yes there are free external programs that can run on windows 8, but you have to pay to get rid of the watermark on each scan.

  I dropped the driver, I use VueScan. It will scan without the need for any driver.

  I have this same problem on all my PC from the most recent Win 10 update 3 March 2016.  All the pc to connect to the printer via a wireless connection with the printer connected to the router using one if the router is NIC ports.  Just to be clear, I just downloaded the latest drivers that you show here for this printer.  If I use the drivers them or earlier, I can't the PARSER must be recognized.  I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers more recent and even tried the original CD (which are Vista drivers).  All to nothing does not.  When I try to scan I get this msg on the screen: "the analysis cannot because another program or computer using the networked HP imaging device.  Try again later. "The error information extened is:"8 (0.18,-2147467259)"[whatever that means]!.

  I also tried physician Scan (latest version).  He concludes by saying: he can not solve the problem.  I did the food printer disonnect, etc. in full agreement with the instructions here.  The PRINTER works fine and it appears in the network installation.  It's the Scanner is not working.  And it worked until the most recent upgrade to win 10.

  I use Kaspersky Antivirus and it is ON and operational during the installation.  What can we do to get the scanner to work? integrated application of win 10 Scan Lele reports that it cannot find the scanner, so it's help.  Until this last Win 10 update, method also used to work.

  I just bought a new computer Windows 10 and added my Canon MP216n printing and updated software of the Web site

  Initially, everything worked and now the Canon Toolbox can not find scanner.  My computer windows 8 on the same WiFi considers it, and it works fine.  I don't know why it stopped working.  I removed the printer and reinstalled but the same result.

  Please check the model number of the Canon printer you have.

  Model number would be MF216n instead of MP216n imageCLASS?

  As you mentioned that you are trying to open HP Device Manager, you do not use the correct software for 10.6.8 the device HP Manager is a part of the software 10.5...

  Do not forget to remove any software from HP following Uninstall HP under Applications > Hewlett-Packard (ru, uninstall several times if necessary) until the Hewlett-Packard folder no longer exists.

  Then download and install the correct software below:

  Finally, run software update so that drivers are perfectly up-to-date.

  Everything works fine on my 6500 - EXCEPT the scanner.  I'm not either of my computers to recognize.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled four times.  I unplugged the power for several minutes four times.  I checked and rechecked all cables.  The printer works fine, but the scanner is no longer usable.  Are there drivers, that I need to download or I need to find a cute way standing on my head? I'd love to be able to use any piece of equipment, instead of just the printer.

  Please try other USB ports, and I understand you to be able to print.

  I did some additional research and found this guide, which can be useful, "computer no. has detected" or a Message appears "connection error" during the scan.

  Operate computer w Windows 7 for printing and scanning.  Can get ony impression at work Windows 10 rounds.  Ititially scanning worked, but it won't now.  Someone knows how to get this working?

  Here's what I had to do:

  In my wifi settings, I changed the "allow your PC to be detectable by other PCs and devices on this network" off.  This change is Windows 10 think I was on a public rather than private network.  (Community of Windows)

  Second, I had to go to BitDefender under maps of firewall and configure an Exception for my wi - fi card when the type of network is home/office to the IP address of my printer. (BitDefender support)

  This explains why it worked... when I tried after adding my new computer on the network.  Then I started looking through settings (dangerous thing) and changed the setting of WI - FI for 'maximum security' in my mind.  Then I bought BitDefender...
