Offline patches download fails with 'Unable to download file, because it is a package not valid.'
After you rule out corrupted ZIP files, I'm not sure why I can't download newer versions of the Cisco UCS drivers:
ENIC - 2.1.2.62 - esx55 - 2340678.zip
fnic_driver_1.6.0.12_esx55 - 2101964.zip
They are downloaded from the vmware.com website officially also. I already have a previous version of these drivers in the patch list. What is the question?
Most recent running of all (patched to max). vCenter 5.5 U2 with the latest ESXi hosts and Update Manager.
Any advice?
extract the bundle and import the zip file enic - 2.1.2.62 - esx55-offline_bundle - 2340678.zip VUM
same thing for the fnic package

Recently, when I download files from the SD card, LR6 not rename the files. How can I fix it?
If I open the folder, not through Lr, I can rename the file. Now, the problem disappeared. Maybe it was related to the DD. I removed and put back in place the protections in SD via the menu of my camera and the problem disappeared. Now, he works as usual. Amount and rename the files by LR. Thank you for your interest

Issue of patching: OPatch failed with the error code 1
I'm trying to patch an AIX server which has 11.1.0 and 11.2.0.3 installed software. He has a 11.2.0.3 current database.
I have the cd to $ORACLE_HOME/OPatch and ran lsinventory opatch command and got the following result:
> lsinventory opatch
OPatch Version: 11.1.0.10.2
YES Version: 11.2.0.3.0
The OPatch version is not applicable to the current version of YES.
Because YES Version begins with 11.2, go to "My oracle Support" and get right O 11.2 patch . *. *. * from the patch 6880880 , version version 11.2.0.0.0 and the appropriate platform.
OPatch failed with the error code 1
I know that it uses incorrect opatch because when I run that opatch, it displays:
/U01/app/Oracle/product/11.1.0/Db_1/opatch
and it should be
/U01/app/Oracle/product/11.2.0.3.0/Db_1/opatch
Could someone guide me through the process of how to solve the problem please? I am new to patching
Solved by the setting $PATH variable

Project Explorer fails with vi (displayed as file folder)
Hi people of LabVIEW,.
I have a behavior very strang of the Project Explorer. (LV 8.5.1f4)
He has a problem with one of my voluntary initiatives.
I stripped the VI downwards until it is now empty, but the problem persists.
(I have several projects, I use the original file, so my problem multiplies )
When I add this VI to an empty project, one of my folders (Entwicklung) does not appear as a folder anymore but as a VI (file).
This seems to happen in the fourth folder above the file.
In addition: if I copy this file in a directory with less then 3 files and try to add it to a LabVIEW project crashes.
If it's in the third case, the driverletter is Eurorest as a file.
The software works well even in application, but this effect results, that I cannot save a project to a new location! (Even the recommended method to save it in an earlier version, and then select 8.5 as version does not work)
I need to create a package source code for a customer the first time now, and I am unable to do so.
(I've always said that they will be open pandoras box if they provide code source for a client, but who care about what is in my opinion I'm just a stupid engineer)
Please someone would be so kind and try to understand what is the problem with this VI?
I tried already and suggests it has to do with its relative path, but I do not see a possibility to access directly.
Thanks in advance,
Best regards
Rainer

I try to use Windows DVD Maker and copy/convert a file .avi on a DVD and get the following error message when I try to add a .avi file to the queue. I tried this on multiple .avi files:
****************************************************
0 items added successfully
1 file could not be added
The C:\\...avi file is not valid or is corrupted.
****************************************************
Also, I must stress that I have no problem looking at one/play the file on my computer, so I don't think that the file itself is really corrupted.
I have not downloaded another software to help 'fix' this problem.
This is my first time you try to use this software to create a DVD...
Please advise on what I can to help resolve this problem!
Thank you-

Patch updates fail with the error Code 3
I tried to understand this one for months, but I work in the it Department and we have available creative cloud to our creative team. A particular Mac user, who uses a connection to Active Directory, but is a local administrator on their computers, has had this same problem for months, and I wonder what can be done to address this problem.
Whenever an application is installed, it fails to patch. I get an error Code 3 and an individual application cannot be updated. Error Code 3 seems rare because I have not really seen anyone refer to it anywhere on the web. In any case, I already tried the follow-up:
- Uninstalled/Reinstalled, with or without the cleaning tool
- Change permissions on specific folders, as well as the entire system disk
- A ran repair disk and authorization
- My own creative cloud compiled and installed package
- Created a new CC account for the user in question
.. .the all of these "fixes" nothing helps.
It should also be noted that this particular user has been given first of all a new hard drive with a new installation of Mac OS X Yosemite and now an other machine. The same behavior continues to poison us. This is crazy!
And whenever I try to set up a chat on-line with Adobe support, wait and wait, only to be expelled leaves a session before it had even begun. It's the equivalent of getting hung up on the phone after waiting on hold for an extended period of time. It's horrible. I really need to solve this problem. All the research I did rush to the same steps to try to remedy the situation, but nothing does. Please, please, please give me something I can work with that.
Thank you
Alex S.Hello

migrate storage fails with 'unable to connect to the host.
I'm trying to migrate storage of a virtual machine to a different data store. (on the same san)
When I start work, I see the task:
Moving the virtual machine / status 'in process '.
After 10 minutes, I get 2 pop-up windows:
-
Error
-
Unable to connect to the host.
-
Ok
-
I tried to move the storage of another virtual machine, but I got the same error.
Also tried a different vmhost (but same cluster), but also the same error.
When you try to a host in a different cluster, it works without problem (same san/store data used in the cluster where I got the errors)
There is no difference in the profile of security on the host computers.
Any tips?
Logfile attached (vpxd - 353.log) when I was running the migrate storage.

Whenever I try to download a 'broad' file Firefox continues to ask me:
Firefox needs your consent to download large files.
Please, click ALLOW to continue with your transfer. If you do not see the application, please click on the icon next to the address bar.
I didn't have this kind of problems before up to that new version, I'm so frustrated that I think really switch to Chrome instead.
And in case anyone is wondering, there isn't an icon request at ALL.
