OIM11gR1 - increase in size of the IOM standard attributes?

Hi all

I use the following IOM standard attribute:
USR_MOBILE VARCHAR2 (20 CHAR)

I would like to increase its size (resizing) at 40.

I doesn't seem like the IOM supports resizing of the attributes.

Should I bother to try to change that? or it will be easier to create a new USR_UDF_MOBILE with the size I need?

Thank you
ADR

ALTER table usr change usr_mobile varchar2 (40);
ALTER table recon_user_oldstate change usr_mobile varchar2 (40);

I don't think that there is something in the file /file/User.xml in the MDS repository, but you may need to check it so and import your updates.

If you have any recon items approved, you must update the RA_ table so that maps the values that him.

  • Increase in the size of the column standard Table UCM?

    Hello

    It is preferable to increase the size of the column in the columns dOldValue and dNewvalue in table RecordsAuditMetadata of the Complutense University of MADRID.

    I am followed by a digital signature event in this area and since it is a Memo field with more than 100 characters is getting truncated.

  • Publish with the increase in size of the readers

    Hi all

    I have a seemingly common problem, but unfortunately common solutions do not seem to apply.  I have a VM that I migrated to ESXi 4 5.1 a year ago and have used without problem.  Recently, it has become necessary to increase the size of main drive of the 60 GB original but the size options are grayed out.  I checked and it is y no snapshot files or y at - it hard < 0000 files > in the directory of the virtual machine in the data store.  I even created a new snapshot, then used the "clear all" button to make sure that all of the snapshots are gone, but the size options are still grayed out.  I tried the upgrade virtual hardware then in the VM properties, I see that the version is vmx-09 that I understand is the latest version.  The disk is a thick accrued lazy set to zero that I thought that maybe part of the problem, so I added a new thin provisioned disk and I can't increase the size of this one either.  It seems to be limited to this virtual machine, but as I have other VM is present on this server I can increase the size of the disk without any problem even if I have not updated the virtual hardware for those so that they are always to version 7 (I don't know if this matters).

    So I'm quite positive, there is no snapshot or snapshot files, I updated the latest material available, and I'm sure that the type of disc is not serious because it seems to apply to thin provisioned and drop discs thick.  I'm out of ideas.  Any help would be appreciated!

    Kind regards

    Tim

    Hi Tim,.

    Have you tried to add additional SCSI disk (which adds the controller and drivers needed). Do a clean reboot then switch your IDE to SCSI and if successful (after other clean reboot) remove the new drive that you have added. By doing this, you are making sure the drivers for the controller are installed before switching types.

    See you soon,.

    The small image tiles are too small for me to see when I'm trying to select among them for various purposes.  I would just like to have pictures of tile less, but BIGGER.  Were not able to understand this through settings.  Please advise?  Thank you.

    You are looking inside your photo folder?  If so, click on the view tab at the top, then click on 'BIG PICTURES' as the size of the thumbnails.

    Tip: If you have a scroll of the mouse wheel or a touch pad that can be scrolled up and down, you can use it to get even more great. Simply simplement cliquer click on an icon, then hold down the Ctrl key while you scroll upwards.

    I have a Media Vault with two 500 GB hard drives.  Is it possible to increase the size of hard drive beyond 500 each?

    Bob

    I managed to install two 750 gig drives in my Media Vault 2020 in a Raid 1 mirror.  To do this, you need to reinstall the operating system on hard drive #1.  I used the instructions provided by Lee Devlin at http://www.k0lee.com/hpmediavault/.  Tip: Before using Nasload to reload operating systm, turn off the firewall in use.

  • increase in size of the C drive after installing windows 8 pro, why?

    my C drive partition volume is 92 Go, he had a lot of space before moving on to windows 8 from windows 7, after installation, I've seen the size of my c drive has only 5.33 GB free, why has happened?

    Thank you
    I did it but the problem did not solve.my of free disk space is 2.24 GB, it's very weak. I have a question, I saw my C drive, I saw a folder named windows.old, what is? its volume is almost 18 GB. can I remove it?
    Another problem I have are not wanter to add some more space to drive to another partition, I cut 50 GB of drive D and built a new primary partition but I can't merge the C drive, what should I do to add a disk space? (I used the computer management/disk management and also Acronis disk Director)

    Windows.Old stores your old Windows installation. You can use it to recover files or reinstall the previous version of Windows. If all your data has been migrated to Windows 8 safely, you can remove:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/how-remove-Windows-old-folder

    This should give you more space.

    If you want to gain extra space, you need to use a third party tool like Easeus

    Download Easeus at the following link

    EASEUS Partition Master Home Edition - http://download.cnet.com/Easeus-Partition-Manager-Home-Edition/3000-2248_4-10863346.html

    ------------------------

    Proceed with the installation of Easeus:

    Click Next, follow the easy on-screen instructions.

    Once the installation is finished, click on finish

    Click go to the main screen

    Select the drive you want to resize in partition window

    Drag the button until you have an amount of disk space you need, then release desired.

    Click on apply to apply the changes that you just made.

    Click Yes

    Click Yes

    Your computer will restart several times and changes will be made to the layout of the partition, this process is hands-free, so no interaction is required.

  • Can merge increase in size of the index?

    Hello
    I'm trying to understand how changes in the use of space after coalesce an index.
    I use Tom Kyte show_space procedure.
    DB is 9.2.0.8.
    before Coalesce:

    Total Blocks............................           4,864

    Look like only two values changed:
    before:
    FS2 Blocks (25-50)... 1 811

    After:
    FS2 Blocks (25-50)... 4 142

    front
    Complete blocks... 2 969

    After:
    Complete blocks... 638

    So, we've got several blocks 25-50% free space
    and less complete blocks.
    And it's strange, how we can have less complete blocks after merger?

    Second question is there a reason my index may grow after the merger, when that would happen?

    Please explain :).

  • Measure vs. increase the size of the - not sure of the difference

    I have a question about action vs increase the size of a data store.  I don't know if they are one and the same.

    If I have a 200 GB LUN presented to me and I have a 200 GB data store.  We realize that we actually need is 400GB.  In our case, the SAN administrator pushes the LUN and so we can increase the size of the data store.  What is a measure?  I'm not add two LUNS together to make more size.

    The alternative is of course to create a NEW LUN of 400 GB and the storage vmotion on him, but if the above is not dangerous or going to steal the performance that we would prefer that.

    Any thoughts?

    to what extent could be covering the different LUN data store.

    increase in size of the data store would actually expand IF you have available space on the lun or on your storage space has developed firstly

    If he pushes the san admin, it is not a measure.

    SVMotion to a larger data store is fine too.

  • Set the size of the cache does not work (to the great usefulness of RAM)

    Hello
    I posted this question in another forum, but they told me it would be better to aks that here:
    I m read in a csv table and put in a primary database (DB_QUEUE)
    and several secondary databases (DB_BTREE). I m using the Berkeley DB 4.7
    for with C++. For the primary database, I let the standart for the secondary cache size
    databases that I want to use 16 MB:

    unsigned long cache_byte = (1024 * 1024 * 16);
    s [a]-> set_cachesize(0,cache_byte,1)

    dry [*] are the secondary databases
    and the size of the cache is set before you open databases.
    The problem is when I run the program it allocates more memory.
    but it should just use a little bit more than once 16 MB.
    Can someone help me?

    You can open all databases in a unique environment, with just a cache? Happens usually better, because Berkeley DB can share the cache based on access patterns.

    That said, an increase in size of the memory can be caused by a leak of any where in the application - it may have nothing to do with the cache of Berkeley DB. Have all of the tools that could help track where the memory is allocated? If you're on Linux, valgrind (http://valgrind.org) is great for this sort of thing.

  • The font size in the Standard report

    I've looked everywhere in the forum over the last three days at least to learn how to simply change the font size of the data in a standard report.  Nothing works. I have a lot of parts on a form page. I've done some parts read-only, and where necessary took some of the elements of a region read-only. We have no BI Publisher (nor the company, I work to buy it) and this is my way to allow the user to print it. Must I increase the font size for the reports on the page. I don't know that all of your answers are correct; I'm simply not being implemented properly.

    My apologies: I tried to format the raw underside like html and syntax highlighting > plain - which does not seem to be clean. The additional lines of < span > < span >... are added and when I add ECMA as above is my opinion superimposed on itself - so I removed the formatting.

    Here is what I tried:

    This added to my page template and page header
    < style >
    .t12standard tr td {make-size: 16px ;}}
    < / style >

    In a column in the report, change the HTML Expression to
    & lt; span style = "do-family: Times New Roman;" font-size: 110% "& gt;" #MY_COLUMN_NAME # & lt; / span & gt;

    This added to the attributes of the element field in the column attributes section
    < a style = "make-weight: bold;" font-size: 16px; "color: black".

    It seems that it should be so simple, but jeeezumcrow I'm frustrated!

    As always, thanks in advance for your answer!
