• Migration of the old folios DPS - HTML resources

  Hello

  IM migrating some old folios of DPSuite to DPSolution and may not know how to use the HTMLResources zip.

  The zip contained some PDF documents that I need to make a link to folios.

  Ive searched and read some threads (here and here) - on the one hand, it seems that HTMLResources have not been implemented in DPSol, but then someone mentions an API, which, to be honest, it is a bit over my head.

  If - is simple (easy) way to use HTMLResources in DPSol when I update my old folios anyway?

  We migrate automatically HTML resources in old sheets above the new DPS system. If you migrate any content that you do have to do something special: the links will still work after the migration.

• How to remove the old folios published with v11?

  I would like to delete a few old folios that were published with old tools (v11).

  These fact sheets are available for the content viewer, but I don't see them in the producer of folio.

  How can I remove them?

  Folios published with tools prerelease update

  If you used the Bundler content to publish folios for a multi-folio Viewer, folio does not appear in the Folio Builder Panel or the producer of Folio. However, folios published are always available for your customers to download and view. You can continue to modify and update these fact sheets using the Bundler content as long as it is available.

  When you update your workflow to use the Panel Folio Builder, you can create sheets that are available with existing folios. Make sure you use the same Adobe ID you use in the Bundler content. Also, to update and re-submit your custom Viewer so that it can display folios created with new tools.

  Currently, if you want to change an existing Folio published using the Bundler content, continue to use the Bundler content.

  I ' v use DPS for a long time to make the company presentations.

  Our questions not being able to get an overview on android seem to be due to a problem with our producer of folio.

  Currently, we are witnessing only a single old folio in the producer, none of the new folios, we created this year are showing up in our producer.

  We tested the connections etc but we really only have one email associated with all our accounts DPS, and it was the only account we could managed to connect with. Even clicking on the option 'Producer Folio' in the folio builder Panel menu displays only this unique folio.

  During the creation of our folios, we have never checked the option 'create offline Folio '.

  What I've read, it seems that folios should be automatically downloaded to the producer. Is this correct?

  Outside the connection / credential issues is there anything that would prevent our fact sheets appear in the producer?

  (Certificates or implementation service or something like that?)

• Wheel of parameters to remove/archive the older folio does not work on iphone app v29

  That's what I have:

  IPhone 5, multi-folio viewer from Adobe app has recently updated to v29, two questions a folio in the multifolio application.

  Problem:

  When I'm in the library where the issues are, I would like to press the wheel to settings in the rightcorner to remove/archive older versions. This is to remove the old folio and download a new folio.

  But the settingswheel is not responding. Is this a bug in v29? The settingswheel works great on the ipad version.

  I removed the entire application and installed again-> did not work.

  anyone same problem?

  This is a bug, that the adjustment knob must be deleted entirely on the iPhone if there is nothing to choose, as the privacy policy. To remove the folios, drag to the right and press the button Delete which appears.

• Folio not updated

  Happy new year!

  I have a post that I need to update.  For the previous question, there were 2 folios, retina and retina with the same product ID. I have only 1 folio this time.

  In case anyone else has trouble with this question, I realized what the problem was.

  The old folio was dual orientation, the new folio was the unique orientation.  The new folio must match the old. Bad luck!

  1. No, it isn't. You can continue to use the "classic" DPS system

  2. you can do separate versions of your content for phones vs tablets. Note that in the new system DPS all content can be displayed on all devices (even fixed the content of the layout) and we're going to scale and box the letters/pillarbox if necessary. This reduces the amount of versions of your content, you need to do. Note also that even with the old system DPS our orientation should only render for tablets, does not separate the HD and SD versions.

• Folio changes do not appear in the app

  Hello.

  We have two folios in two different applications on which our modifications does not reach the app.

  • If we update the folio, there is no button "Update".
  • If we do not publish, it remains in the app.
  • If publish us it with new content under a new product ID, the old folio can be downloaded but a new can not.

  Other folios in the same application work as expected.

  Looks like a problem with publishers. Can anyone confirm that?

  Or is it something else? If so, how can it be resolved?

  Contact the business support and ask them to look into the issue. It is rare, but sometimes there's a weird State in what a folio can enter, and maybe it's one of those cases.

  If I understand you correctly, the problem could be in the version of the folio safe.

  Check if it is less than 28 and change anything from 28. You can change the version in the foiio generator (folio highlight and select properties).

  Hi in my world I'm not selling my Apps but their production for customers who need to turn to download for free because they are Corporate Brochures and newsletters and free guides.

  Then... If I buy the large single version of research free cloud and produce a brochure/portfolio should I notify my customer that they must pay these costs of bundle folio on top for their audience to download?   17 p has download?

  I can see he said the folio is free but do they really mean it I fear just don't to the land of my client with hidden costs.

  If I move to professional, that would mean I could publish to androids large but why make it difficult for small agencies and let them only able to offer ipad apps it's crazy!

  Folio unique means a brochure or a single download of this free booklet with one of the two packages.  I spent 3 hours looking for the answer I'm missing something!

  I hope someone can help it's superb but if 10,000 people download my free brochure of customers it could cost more than traditional printing? Is there a blocker which if it became merit to be published and downloaded at 1 million people is there a ceiling to stop it being downloaded?

  If you want to create one question app you can buy subscription CCM in which you can create apps one unlimited question. In CCMS, you can create app for ipad, not for the iphone and the andfroid. In CCM you need not to buy the bundle download .folio. Only paid subscription fees.

  If you are targeting Android and ipad & iphone, then recommend you buy DPS Professional Edition or Enterprise edition. In the present, you can create apps for one question and several questions. Professional DPS is also a monthly and annual subscription. This will include 5000 (annual) and files monthly .folio (250) with the first year of service. Once files .folio exhausted, you can buy additional group at any time on the Adobe store or reseller. Platform to pay US$ 495 monthly and annual cost you US$ 5 940.

• Cannot download the update of Folio Builder 2.05.1

  Folio Builder says I must upgrade to a newer version, but it is impossible to download: he crawls for (if I'm lucky) half an hour before stopping, after you download only between 2 and 15 MB of file 68 MB expected. I cleaned the browser cache, etc. etc. etc. and have tried downloading about 10 times now.

  I understand not ago a few due server downtime on Saturday night. However, it is now 10:41 Sunday to the United Kingdom (02:41 PST Sunday), and I've actually been locked out of my folio in the cloud because I download and install a Folio Builder update that cannot be downloaded. According to Acrobat health, there is no problem.

  Could someone please fix that, or if Adobe cannot host the new Folio Builder for download, at least allow me to use the old Folio Builder in the meantime.

• Impossible to delete/archive folio on iPad after failed download

  Hello

  I downloaded an app on my iPad to halfway, but received an error message and couldn't complete the download. After several unsuccessful attempts to reupload the items to the cloud I new and deleted alltogether folio and more with a new folio. Now, the old folio that has not finished downloading continues to appear in the content viewer and I see only the buttons 'Summary' and 'View '. Of course, I am unable to complete the download the folio no longer exists, but I can't check the folio either. There is also nothing in the pile of "Post requests" for this old folio. Any advice on how to get rid of it?

• Remove Folio Prerelease of multi-Folio Viewer?

  I have a viewer folio and multi-folio in the pre-release software is launched, which is fine. I've recreated the old folio and a new show with a new Viewer. The old folio has been recreated in the new DPS system in order to use the new tools for analytics with it.

  In the documentation of beta sheets he mentions update leaves beta with the old software (although it is still available) and that they will not be recognized by the new system. It doesn't mention anything about Delete them.

  In the test of my new viewer, I have my first version of folio showing along side one recreated (I was hoping with the same product ID it can substitute the earlier when published.)   Wes - unfortunately, there is currently no easy way to replace or update a folio created using the Bundler prerelease content. The program team is working on a solution for a next version. In the meantime, if the folio is free instead of the retail, you can use the Bundler content to remove the old folios, as you suggest and use new tools to publish a fact sheet with the same name. But I would not if I could avoid it. Your customers who have downloaded the folio see two identical folios until they delete (archive) of the older folio. If your folio is from detail, I recommend that you maintain on the replacement of the old folio until a better solution of the transition is in place.
