    Hello

Have you installed the driver for the Toshiba page?
If so visit the Toshiba driver page and download the driver.
It s not recommended to use NOT Toshiba graphics cards drivers.

Then I recommend to check the display properties, if the screen of the laptop has been on the primary monitor. Mark the display with the digit 1 and check the option use this device as the primary monitor has been activated.

Also, check in the Advanced tab nView option if the nView mode has been upgraded and that make the main display has been enabled for the screen of the laptop.

  • Re: Satellite P500-12F - cannot install the new nVidia display driver

    Good evening

I'm sorry for stupid question, but I don't know what to do. I have the Satellite P500-12F.

I tried to download the new graphics drivers for the NVidia card, I went to the site of NVidia and downloaded a new driver, which dates back to December 2009, instead of mine, which is July 2009, however, when I try to install it, the system indicates that Joana does no hardware that is compatible with the new driver.

Could you tell me, what am I doing wrong? I could use any guidance as well. Thank you very much!

    Hello

Why you try to use the nVidia display driver? These drivers are not pre-tested on the laptop and installation is at your own risk! In the worst case, you could destroy the graphics chip.

As Akuma written already using the latest drivers Toshiba because they are pre-tested.

Why you want to update the display driver? You are not satisfied?
Remember: never change a running system! ;)

I tried to complete the download several times for the nVidia Display Driver 9.7.5.4.

First where installation is not complete citing «that this computer doesn't have the correct material...» ', then the Windows message came and said that "If this configuration is not completely successful click blabla" and I did.
Now when I run the installation it always stops in the same place. But now it is said that * "Setup cannot be performed because this driver only works on Windows Vista, and is not Windows Vista. But the thing is I have Windows Vista! *

    Hello

    > Current display driver: Mobile Intel (r) Express ChipSet Family 945GM
And then you want to install a nVidia display driver?
    LOL :D

I think that you can not install a nVidia display driver because your laptop is equipped with an Intel chipset and graphics card.
You will never be able to install nVidia display driver and thus make the message that you do not have the correct material.

Intel and nVidia graphics cards graphics cards are different things, so don't mix do not!
Some P105 was equipped with nVidia cards and others with Intel card and it seems that you have an Intel card.

  • Vista on Portege M200 - some problems with nVidia display driver

    Hello

I recently decided to update and perform a clean installation of Windows Vista on my Portege M200, now that Toshiba have released official drivers for this machine.

Everything works fine, EXCEPT the nVidia display driver. I have the following questions with the driver Toshiba provides for this machine (97.52 version):

    (1) when the screen turns off to save power, the backlight does NOT turn off. Screen turns off but the backlight will stay lit.
    (2) for the recovery of the standby mode, the backlight is OFF. You must use the shortcuts Fn-F6/F7 to change the backlight level manually, that will bring him back.
    (3) external monitor does not work (with command Fn + F5 or nVidia control panel). External display is always blank.
    (3) video playback in WMP is very chopped (a secondary concern for me).

Is there a chance that Toshiba could finally get a updated driver that would set out the? That would really make this machine fully functional in Vista.

Thanks in advance for any help or information.

    Hello

    > Are there opportunities that Toshiba could finally get out an updated driver?
I noticed that from time to time new updates of pilot (any series of notebook) are released on the European driver Toshiba page and, therefore, I m optimistic that new updates are available

But note; usually, various problems can be resolved by installing some patches MS Vista and missing patches.
Then visit this [MS update website | http://www.update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us] and check if all the patches are installed.

  • Satellite Pro M30, it is recommended to install the new nVIDIA display driver?

I own a laptop Satellite Pro M30, which includes a GeForce FX Go5200 GPU from nVIDIA. On 27 July, nVIDIA has released a new driver and related software (version 61.77), as indicated by nVIDIA, fits all the its GPU.

I tried to install this new driver on my laptop (after removing the old driver following the instructions by nVIDIA) but it does not install. Does anyone have an idea why?

Why the new driver is not displayed on the Toshiba support site driver for this laptop?

    Hello

All drivers are designed and tested to laptops and Tom is right about producer for laptop. This means that you can find the download page for all drivers needed on Toshiba.

As much I know Toshiba supports the drivers shipped with the device drivers and updates if necessary.

  • Tecra R10 - 10W - crashes with the nVidia display driver

    Dear Sirs,

Two days ago, I bought my new Tecra R10 - 10W. I used the recovery disk to put Windows XP.

However, I get a blue screen randomly. I turned on the 'Check' tool and I got: error of e/s in wmiaci.sys system. Error 20th in B9B8752F. I figured that the nVidia driver and uninstalled it. The problem disappear. But when I try to install on your site the appropriate driver: display - 20081110130507.zip the system blocks blue with the same error.

    Please help me.

    Hello

    Which is really strange, buddy

Hmm, I think that before installing the display driver you must clean your system using CCleaner. This freeware tool removes the old driver files and cleans up the registry. Then, restart the installation of the laptop the latest driver on the official website of Toshiba.

Furthermore, you also update the BIOS? You can find it on the Toshiba site too. :)

I checked for your device and Toshiba download page, there is only one display pilot available (v 36,48). Can you please tell us what version number has this driver and where exactly did you find?

  • Satellite M40 (PSM40): where to find a NVidia display driver?

On the way to update my driver, I uninstalled old, but the driver I found on the nVidia site will not work. (The error message: "Setup nVidia didn't find all the drivers that are compatible with your current hardware.) The installation program will now stop. »)

I then searched a driver on the Toshiba site, but are all there drivers ATI or Intel. So, when I check my system, it does not find my video card (I use the method of debugging) and there is nothing other than the basic thing of VGA.

It's scary because I know that you can not change the graphics card, and if I can't fix this, then I'm screwed. =/

Video card: nVidia GEFORCE FX 6600 (which I can't find on the nVidia site)

    Hello

Very strange can you please post you detailed name (number of your laptop)?
I searched the Satellite M40 with graphics card nVidia but didn t find any model
I also checked the Toshiba driver page and didn t find all the graphic drivers for the nVidia card.

You will not be able to install the original graphics drivers on the graphics card manufacturing site because the graphics drivers from Toshiba are a bit changed.

    Hey Buddy,

    > 257.21 driver
That s not an official version driver Toshiba. The new version of driver for your Toshiba laptop screen is 8.16.11.8875.

You must install this driver because it s pretested by Toshiba.

Furthermore, I have read in the forum that the latest display driver Toshiba could solve the problem.

  • Satellite Pro A100-080: NVidia display driver's break in 3D games

    Hello

I have some problems with the display driver since I bought the laptop 9 months ago. I tried to install each new driver published on the toshiba site but no driver is running stable on my system.

The problem is that my laptop crashes with blue screen when playing 3d games and my windows vista tells me that it is the display driver causing accidents.

I had the previous version of the driver installed several months ago and I think it's more stable than the current version. Unfortunately I lost the files for that one, but I prefer a functional driver for this laptop.

  • NVIDIA display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered

    HP Pavilion Media Center m8330f

Is come with Vista I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

    NVidia Geforce 8500GT

Updated the driver Nvidia 301.42 from NVidia site, it was fine for about 5-6 days then yesterday the screen became all glossy and black, then comes back to the top with this message:

Display driver NVidia Windows kernel mode driver version 301.42 stopped responding and has successfully recovered.

But it is not recover for a long time.

Today, I got the dreaded blue screen.

I did a system restore and got rid of the graphics drivers from Microsoft, removed from the NVidia graphic card from Device Manager and started with just the Microsoft drivers that are version 8.17.12.9619

Having been well for an hour or two, I start to see the little sparkles (pixels) flashing on my screen.

Since I have updated my OS, HP has almost nothing to help me to update, I hope someone can help me with some suggestions.

    Thank you

    Ann

    Thanks for your reply.

I could finally find a newer driver from NVidia and did install clean without having to install the 3D part that does not have the 8500GT and it was fine, so I guess I can say that the problem is solved.
