  Change the GUID, as Ian suggested, should do the trick.

  If you are looking for a more 'official' and sanctioned, approach you need to do is to create a new distribution for your new project. As you do, rather than create new distribution from the bottom up, you can say CVI isntead to copy the distribution of distribution of your old project:

  Hi Bruce,.

  It's giving me advice. You should be able to update any project and it works in many cases, it is simply not advisable on complex projects. For me, it's one with a lot of sequences that contain a lot of cuts, titles and effects. One with many multi camera sequences too. After that compositions Effects connected through dynamic links, media card based instead of footage of codec, etc., intermediate are examples.

  With a backup of the project, such as an automatic backup, you can certainly try it. You can always revert to a previous version to continue working.

  I am a professional editor who happens to work now at Adobe. Personally, I have avoided all projects in all software updates unless I had to. In doing so, I always did so with a backup.

  In general, only update of existing projects after simplify as much as possible and only when you actually need.

  After you open the older version file to Muse, you need to enable fluid width of site properties and pages, then work with breakpoints.

  As breakpoints will define the design with the size of the screen, you can delete the other page layouts.

  Which should occur only if the projects that you open have been created by a different version of GarageBand, for example, GarageBand iOS on iPad. In this case, GarageBAnd needs to create a converted version and record the original, because the new version is more readable by the other version of GarageBand. Or, if the project you are trying to open is write protected.

• JavaFX 2.0 crushed after the installation of the Netbeans 7.4 new and old projects imported into it.

  Hey there. I installed a new version of Netbeans and he asked me to import files, resources, etc. from the old version, so I agreed. However, when I open the old version that I realized all JavaFX projects contained errors. Then I open the properties of the project-> libraries section, it says broken reference: javafx.classpath.extension in the compile tab. I don't know why I'm dealing with this error, but I guess the reason is that I installed the latest version of Java with the new Netbeans import process caused what is happening.   Photoshop changed how the layer limits are calculated in some cases, what causes the Photoshop library that we include with After Effects to also have this change. We are currently working to determine how to fix this for the next update. It is delicate, because the new way that Photoshop does things is more correct... but it also means that the created projects in previous versions different when opened in the new version. We will end up probably with a "legacy" option that avoids this conversion doesn't happen at the opening of old projects.

  3 Windows Installer some driver after reboot (I can't disable or cancel installation)

  Just after the start of Windows driver trying to implement something else (or to continue installation), but it causes an error: _Error: Error = error Undefined...
  Tried to do without step 2 - to reinstall the driver right after having been deleted - without success.
  Tried to remove the driver and then restore an old via Recovery Manager - Beats audio control panel is displayed but there is no sound at all!
  I think I tried all possible combinations of actions. Beats Audio Control Panel works without noise and noise without BACP. But never together.

  I did a movie and released a dvd. Then, I moved my files from movie on an external hard drive to store files and free up space on my computer. So I went back to try a pull up the project and got every X / white clips. So now, I rebooted my computer with the video files I removed on the external hard drive and it still shows empty clips.
  Help.

  The red Xs indicate that Movie Maker cannot find the original source files.
  If the files are still available... just right click on the red Xs and go to the
  current location of the files source and you may be able to restore the
  path.

  I've just updated to prelude CC 2015.4. I don't know exactly what version I was running, but it was 2015.x. whenever I try to open an old project, freezes Prelude and closes.
