I'm looking for more details on what comes with pre-built content of BI of Oracle 11 g for finance, sales, warehouse and inventory. Specifically, I would like to know what is included in the data repository and dashboards. Where can I find detailed information?

F4 key doesn't work does not after El Capitan upgraded for my MacBook Pro. Used to be the date and time. Anyone know where to find it now?

When I upgraded my MacBook Pro to El Capitan, the F4 key that allows to display the date, time and calendar has stopped working. Anyone know if this is not supposed to want to work more? Or how I can quickly display the date and time as I'm used to using the F4 function key?

On my Mac running 10.11.2 which brings to the top of the dashboard. I think that there are now three different ways to make in the face of dashboard elements, which seem completely obscure to me. I just set mine to do what he did originally come in an overlay with the widgets running.

I get an error #1 (I realize is a universal code) on the Registry.vi of configuration data: invalid object 0 when I try to open a configuration file. We wrote our own program that just traverses the NEITHER "reading-open-close" sequence vi, then you get a table. We have used this VI for years, but yesterday we started to put this error on her unawares. I searched the forums for help and found a couple of "bugs" that has not worked for me. We had to do "reset" in the Config data Registry.vi the default case. The other option was to add an empty array to initialize the array reference register shift. None of these work. I tried to replace the INI file on the PXI with a new version and then just be reformatted PXI to start again... That no longer works.

The thing that is most difficult, it is that the error does not present when the laptop is running the code on the PXI system; only when the PXI runs completely by itself in the problem. I did, however, reduce to the case 'get data' in the Registry.vi of configuration data. It checks for a reference in the table of reg shift, and if it does not find, spits a '-1' causing the fault. The initial case is the case of 'register', which puts the refnum reg shift table (I'm not sure exactly why or how this VI works, just that there of the till until yesterday).

Any help would be appreciated!

Its going to be difficult to work on this version 8.6 ini style API (there was a major overhaul of this palette in 2009 and versions never played well together)

That being said: changes to the lib vi will probably cause more trouble. I suspect someone accidentally damaged the vilib on the PXI and see if there is a recognized reliable backup around before going any further.

You look at photo of code. I highly recommend to get this mention on a shift register instead of tunnels in and out of the auto-indexation for loop. you will have strange things happen if key Array is empty. That may actually be the cause of the original problem, because the reference does not close and the file will not write in this case! With an empty array the loop executes zero times and the tunnel exit rereernce will have a default value "Not a refnum" a corrective SR.

Config data write to File.VI missing in LV 2009

In the earlier version LV 2009 files Config File (vi.lib\utility\config.llb) it was possible to invoke a write to disk using "Config data write to File.vi" were found in the llb above.

In 2009 the Config of the LV functions files have been updated and the VI above failed.

It's a trend that began with the generation tool compared to the 8.6 (which I assume you remember) and will probably continue as NEITHER utility refactors screws in libraries.

You should read this thread that addresses the issue in general and specifically refers to the config screws as well. Having not played with these screws inside, I have no specific ideas.

Question on useless metrics in reports and dashboards

I am trying to create reports and dashboards and many of the measures that populate the list of measures to implement a metric view have a _ before the name of metrics. For example _AccessTotalCount_delta

Some of the measures I have very convincing names that I would use in my dashboard. I guess the _ means that they are not collected, which is correct? My question is what the _.

I heard about development on your question:

Underscore in metric names is not important in the core of the server. The cartridges that populate these measures can have their own naming conventions, however. I've also heard JMX metric begin with underscore.

Please check the data for the metric in the data browser and/or in the Script Console to see if it is collected regularly.

Dynamic PDF up to 200 images, the size of the pdf is greater, cannot save the data and images to the form

Hi all
My client would like to dynamic images up to 200 photos to my forms. It works very well. However, when I add images up to 35 images. I could not add images to shape more. Then I save data on the form. All the images and the data entered on the form are missing. I don't know why.
If I add only 10 images - I can record data and images on the form. 15456 KB is the size of the pdf. I was unable to add more photos or data on the form.
There may be a problem the size of the pdf? How big can make a limited dynamic pdf?
Can save us the information and images as much as we want?
I spent two weeks to work and trying to figure out this problem. However, it is not successful.

You must ensure that your users do not import large images.

Therefore, you can use a script on the change event of an image field that checks the size of the data and warns the user if the file is too large.

How to check if the vmware tools are up to date and whether they run or not?

So, how can I do this in powercli?
Using (notice-EEG - viobject $vm). Config.Tools, I can get some info but not if they are running or not and they are up to date.
I would like to get sometnih like I see in vSphere client (OK - if the tools are up-to-date and running,...)

The JavaScript calendar date and access date incompatible field!

I need some help here! My form has two fields where the user enters a beginning date and an end date. These dates are then used in a WHERE clause to retrieve all records in these dates. The problem is that access does not recognize dates and shows not all records. If I remove the WHERE clause, all records are displayed. I tried to change the area of access to the text, use the input mask, etc. nothing works. Any ideas?

How to document your star-patterns and dashboards?
Hello practitioners.

We are new to OBIEE and started a few weeks ago. We are a team of two men. A guy who does all the design data and the other for everything that surrounds answers.

Then, it happens regularly that the other guy should ask the guy on the exact definition and the meaning of the data fields, it wishes to use in responses.

Being a guy real programmer that has only to a field name free-explainary itself, as documentation, of course (or so he thought).

Question:

What tools and methods do you use to document star-patterns and dashboards?

As the other guy, it is important, that I take the correct fields, while on the other hand I don't want to disect a dashboard I built earlier, whenever someone wants something simular, just to understand what I actually did, at the time...

Have you watched the OBIEE metadata dictionary? A method to allow users to access definitions of column and you answers can view the mapping of the presentation, through physical layer MDB.
Im sure you can expose observations of the RPD in it also.

Using variables in the queries and dashboards

I am using a prompt and dashboard based on the selection in the guests shud of data filled.

I used the query variable line dashboard option and creates reference static variables of the administration.

I created the 'green' variable and in the applications for the "VERTICAL" column, I put the variable as being of 'green '.
It is the same value as I gave in the prompt variable set dashboard-> variable query.

Guyz pls help me...

In the report, create a filter of coming and going VERTICAL. In the filter creation, click on Add - Variable - presentation, now in the Expr variable name of the variable, the default value indicates no value for this PORTRAIT.

Now, put your prompt and the dashboard report, test.

International date and time

Last week, I was in the United States and took a lot of pictures. Now that I'm back in Australia, Photos has automatically adjusted the time and date of the pictures to what was the time in Australia, not the time it was when I took the pictures. Hello! I had the same problem. I took photos in Asia, some on them without location data. I imported on my Mac at home in France. And then, something went wrong with the date and time. As I've learned here for photos without location data, Photos uses the time zone of the place where you perform the import. If had imported the photos in the same zone where I took them, everything would have been fine.

The solution was to select all the photos and then manually set their time zone in Malaysia where I took them. You can do this with "setting date and time" to the 'Image' (or 'Photos' menu, or however, it is called in English).
