It could be that the lens profile is built-in for that lens in the camera raw file.

Look down the lens Corrections tab.

  • Lenses for Olympus lenses... correction presets?

In the past I remember that in the correction of lens (to be developed) Panel, if I used an Olympus micro 4/3 lenses (e.g. M.ZUIKO Digital 17 mm f /1.8) No. listed in the drop-down menu Olympus lenses there, but a symbol appears saying that the goal was already a correction applied to the raw file (or words to that effect).

I've just updated LR a week or two ago, and it seems not yet to say this in the Panel of the lens, he tells just something like "no correction of the lens could be found.

Are built there are still in corrections for Olympus lenses... in the latest version of LR?
Why they are 'hidden' corrections (if they are there at all)?

    Thank you

    Alan.

For your camera that has built-in profiles, work of the message is different depending on whether corrections profile of lenses are enabled or not.

Without activation to allow Corrections of profile, you will see a message that your device has built-in profiles which are applied automatically.  That's what you remember seeing before.

With the activation to allow Corrections of profile, you see a message that it cannot find a profile, which is true since you ask LR to find an external profile, option for your goal, and it is not a.  This does not mean that integrated fixes are not applied, more, they are, it just means that there is that one place to have a message and LR can both say that the built-in corrections are applied and that it cannot find a non-built-in profile.

  • I have 4.4 LR that I just started using. There is no adjustment of calibration lens for my lenses Olympus (12-60 F2. 8 - 4 SWD, 50-200 F2.8 - 3.5 non - SWD, 50 F2.) and/or my e-620 of Olympus. I ran in circles, eventually give up and calling it "acid."

  • implemented for olympus in lightroom

Hi I can't all find upwards to olympus in the dev module. can help you. THX

As I said, Olympus cameras do their own corrections lenses (JPEG), or LR apply these corrections (raw). What objectives you are having problems with? If you are using non-Olympus lenses, you probably need to look under the names of their manufacturers. Also, do you have applied the latest updates of the firmware to lenses?

  • Why Olympus does not appear in the list of profiles of lens for my camera Stylus Tough TG-4?  List of Adobe supported devices includes this camera.

The Olympus Stylus Tough TG-4 is one of the cameras supported by LightRoom CC2015.  In the develop Module, under correction lenses, profile, Olympus does not appear as one of the choices on the list of lens manufacturers no longer when you work on a .jpg or .orf (Raw) picture.  How choosing a camera for correction lenses if is not on the list?

  • MDGS on Olympus Raw file in Lightroom 5.7

    Hello

Where to find and download the MDGS on Olympus Raw file in Lightroom 5.7 running on Windwos 8.1?

    Thank you.

    Peter

    Hello

Correction lens metadata is an integrated part of the Micro-FourThirds systems.

Micro-FourThirds lenses carry the lens correction profiles in the lens itself. Its location in the raw files at the time of the capture by the housing of the device as a special type of metadata, that Lightrooom will apply automatically. You will notice on the tab Correction of the goal that it will show "Allow for correction of profile" and the value in the profile is the default.

To make the Nikon lens, there are available profiles but only for the FIRST.

  • APS - c lenses on fs7

Hello. I have a question on the APS - C sensor Sony lenses (got a bit for my a6000). Taking into account the crop factor of 1.39 x on the Super 35 mm sensor the FS7, what is the advantage of using lenses full frame on FS7? And can I use APS - C lenses? (I'm still waiting for my FS7 to arrive, so have not had the chance to experience).

Any e mount lens can be used on the FS7 without the need for an adapter.
In your first post asked you if there was an advantage to using a full-frame lens against a target of APS - C format. Not that I know, but more importantly, there is no problem either. You can use any e mount lens on the FS7.

  • NEX - 5N LA - ai2 with Sigma lenses

Anyone know if the optical image stabilizer works on the Sigma lenses when it is attached to the NEX - 5N camera using the adapter LA - ai2?

  • 2nd generation Sony lenses

Yes I confirm that it is currently 20mm, 25mm, 135mm

Will get back to you if we change 20 mm, 50mm, 135mm

My thoughts as well... Why 3 goal together? CVP has actually classified all of the 3 35-50-85... which makes more sense, then just buy the 20mm on the side. The 135mm would be so much we'd just rent it when necessary.

Really can't wait to see some real pictures of these babies. If they can Albums CP.2 lenses and have distortion and the chroma under control, they are a clear choice IMO.
