on my Windows 7, I have files which are coming up with. lb/h. How to open them.

I have Windows 7. Some of my files from Windows XP will eventually be .pph files. How to open them?  HELP please.

Tmp file extension is quite rare.  If you do not really mean "PHP", how you think that these files are and what application do you created?  (And I think you don't really want to do a 'repair pph').

I suggest that you do NOT use a device of registry cleaner or similar.  What follows is the MS - MVP PA Bear (Robear Dyer):

A little judicious use of registry cleaners can play a role here. TIP: If you ever think that your registry database must be cleaned, repaired, boosted, point, healed, twisted, fixed, magnified, "swept" or optimized (it isn't), read http://chris.pirillo.com/are-registry-cleaners-safe-to-use/ or http://www.edbott.com/weblog/2005/04/why-i-don ' t-use - Registry cleaners / and then draw your own conclusions. • Files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions

I get this window popping up that reads, "files required for Windows to run correctly have been replaced by unrecognized versions.»  To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files.  Insert your Windows XP Professional CD2 now. "The problem is that I'm not running XP Professional.  I am running XP Media Edition (do not know what version - when I look at 'System' in the control panel it says version 2002, but the OS disc that came with my computer says version 2005 with update rollup 2).  In any case, I only have an installation disc, and when I insert it, the computer tells me it's the wrong disc.  What should I do?

    God help us all...

Is the CD you have an XP bootable installation CD authentic or some kind of restore CD provided with your system (they are not the same thing).  If it's a CD of Windows, this Service Pack is on the CD?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

What is your Service Pack installed?  If you are not sure, do the following:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the results here.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and what appears to be personal information for you, simply delete the personal information of the pasted information.

When you see a message like this:

    Windows file protection
Files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions.  To maintain system stability, Windows must restore the original versions of these files.

I hope that you are curious to know what is the file and when you know that, you can decide what to do about it.

You must click Cancel, and then click Yes to keep the file, then you will have an event to watch which will tell you what the problem is the file.

Search where you sign in to see what is the name of file system Viewer, then decide what to do.

The event will look something like in this example:

    Event type: Information
    Event source: Windows File Protection
    Event category: no
    Event ID: 64005
    Date: 10/01/2011
    Time: 14:41:56
    Description:
The protected system file taskmgr.exe had not been restored in its original, valid version because the Windows File Protection restoration process was cancelled by user interaction, user name is Jose.  The file version of the bad file is unknown.

When you know what the file is, you can decide what to do about it.  There are probably other copies of the files on your system, or you can get the files from another source.

A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:

    eventvwr.msc

Click OK to launch the event viewer.

Check your event observer system log and look for a proposed Windows file protection event.

If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information.  On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.

When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis.  Remove all personal information from your information after you paste If you are forced to do so.

P.S. Let us know how you go with these Microsoft KB article suggestions.

Microsoft. It's so hard to get where you want to go on the site.

I wish they still had the cat where you enter just a few things, and for free, it instantly opens a window of instant messaging to chat with microsoft.

Well, I have a dongle bt USB and when I right click and click send a file, it gives an error

Windows could not transfer files. An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used.

With windows xp, I plug it and he can move 2 drivers, "microsoft bluetooth enumerator" and "generic bluetooth radio".

in windows 7, it installs the same 2 drivers

I pair the device from the phone and it didn't work. while I was looking for the computer and it does not even, but file transfer

It works totally fine XP and with the same drivers! just different os versions.

I went to Device Manager, click on set to update driver and he know that later is installed

BTW, it's a generic radio bt, and it was $10 do9ller micro dongle.

However, there is no brand name.

but it works under windows xp? but not 7?

Windows xp and windows 7 are duel boot, so it's the same material, b/c windows xp and windows 7 is on the same hardware

If I use the VM vmware, I can transfer files

Microsoft sucks... I mean except xp. He is old, but it's the best version of windows there, Runnin' on minimum 16 MB of ram and 400 mhz cpu... I luv xp, no more errors

    Hello

Check if the same device works fine on another computer with Windows 7 installed. Also, try to send files from the phone to the PC and check what is happening.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following link. http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/back-up-the-registry

You can try the steps below and check if that helps get the Bluetooth dongle to work.

    (a) click Start and then click Run.

    (b) type regedit and then click OK.

    (c) locate and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {e0cbf06c-cd8b-4647-bb8a-263b43f0f974}

    (d) right click on the folder, click on delete.

    (e) exit and restart

Now, try to find your device and send the file. It should work.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • all my files were deleted and I don't know how to retrieve them.

    Original title: maintenance cleaning disc

all my files were deleted and I don't know how to retrieve them.

    Hi BarbaraJenkins,

    ·         How do you delete files?

    ·         Did you remove them permanently? (Shift + delete)

    ·         What is the operating system installed on the computer?

You can check if the files are available in the Recycle Bin

Windows 7: recover files from the Recycle Bin

Windows Vista: recover files from the Recycle Bin

If there are no files in the Recycle Bin, then unfortunately, you maybe not be able to recover their return.

However, try looking for a third-party software that can help you to do. You may need to search the Internet.

Check with support from the manufacturer of your router to reset the SSID and password - most have
    excellent online help and forums.

Better to use WPA/WPA2 security if they are available and you can hide the SSID that will help
help others to see the network (note on some routers more hide the SSID)
