On RHEL 5.7, Oracle customer 11.2.0.3 Setup error

Hello friends,

I am getting below error while installing Oracle 11 g 2 on a Machine RHEL5.7 customer. After that I completed the installation in silent mode whenever I run the command sqlplus/nolog

sqlplus: error while loading shared libraries: libclntsh.so.11.1: cannot open shared object file: no such file or directory

while I guess that parameters in .bash_profile seems ok. Please validate:

[oracle@localhost ~] $ cat .bash_profile

If [~/.bashrc - f]; then

. ~/.bashrc

Export ORACLE_HOME = / u01/oracle/oraapp

I checked metalink where it says it could be due to rpm, ID 1329085.1

    Hi Forum,

    I have installed EMP 11.1.1.3 but when I have it configured, received the registration error failed SSP on all components. I did all the services manual and when I tried to check the SSP, I receive the error "an error occurred during the execution of this operation". When I ran the EMP Configurator I get error "Shared services and content of the database not found in the specified database. I created a separate database in sql server 2005 and the tables exist in that. Am I missing something?

    Thanks in advance,

    When you have configured shared services, has all the steps? have you tried to do it individually and making sure that you check the error logs if it failed.
    Do you have a previous version of hyperion on the machine.
    You may need to uninstall, drop/recreate the hss database and try again step by step in the configuration utility to find out where it goes wrong.

    See you soon

  • Migration oracle db user of an operating system to any other user of system operating in an environment of rhel 6 with oracle 11.2.0.3.0

    Hi all

    Migration of oracle db user of an operating system to any other user of system operating in an environment of rhel 6 with oracle 11.2.0.3.0.

    Suppose I have a database running with os user user1

    I have another user user2 where I want the database runs and not on User1

    Please let me know how to achieve this goal,

    Thank you.

    Have you looked on the MOS for this?

    I thought to do exactly this, but ultimately I didn't actually accomplish. Despite the fact, it may be an interesting feature...

    Something like this:

    S ' ensure that two users are members of the same groups

    -Database stop

    -As the former owner, change the ownership of all files in Oracle Home, inventory of the Oracle and all data files, to the new. On Linux/Unix, only the owner (and root) can change the ownership of files, so all files/directories not belonging is not to the former user, will obtain authorization refuses, legitimately so. The new user for example cannot 'take' the files, because they are not his. Only the old can 'give' files. Of course, root can do as well, if you have this permission.

    -Configure the new user to set up the environment correctly (ORACLE_HOME,..)

    -Start of the database

    -Do NOT remove the old user of the system, but do not give him a different password

    That's what I think

    Hi all

    do you know where to find download for RHEL 5.6 oracle 9i? I can't find anywhere.

    Thanks in advance.

    The latest version of linux, where I was able to install 9i DB was 5.0. 5.2 starting, I had so many problems, I decided to give up.

    So, I seriously doubt that 5.6 can run.

  • Install streets & trips 2013 on windows 8 - "a licensing initialization error has occurred. Please contact customer support for further assistance. Error 0xC004D301 ".

    Original title: new installation of streets & trips 2013 on windows error 8.

    I have my windows 8 installation with the assurance that my products purchased from Microsoft survive the 8 Windows Reinstall "refreshed". Well all the Microsoft products were there but would not work. Each gave the error for rerinstall the product I did no problem except for the problem with the streets of travel & which still exists and is completely ignored by Microsoft, according to my research. The error is: "a licensing initialization error has occurred. Please contact customer support for further assistance. Error 0xC004D301 ". I tried all the suggestions that I have met on the internet. The most galling was given by Microsoft technology in its response to this problem. "The license data is probably corrupted" OK, makes sense, BUT how can I fix that you genius. Someone had managed to get the program to work after this error message?

    Success!  Hi John, I don't know if this will solve your problem because I am running windows 8.1 and tries to install streets & trips 2011.  But I had a similar symptom that you knew.  Here's what I did: just right-click on the icon in the start menu, select programs and features.  Uninstall all versions of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010, I had two.  Then I opened the installation dvd in Explorer, click right on dvdrun, marked the area run as long as administrator (not sure if it did anything or not), hit apply, then double clicked on dvdrun and everything worked.  I could install, validate, save, and run the program!
    A warning, I don't know what are the potential problems that may result in removing these two programs, I hope that if I run into something I can install them again without too much trouble.

  • Setup error says 'Contact Adobe Customer Support for Assistance', but it seems impossible. I'm trying to install CS3 on Maverick.  Will I just give it up as hopeless and kiss my Adobe software goodbye?

    I went around and around the Adobe customer support site, and it only allows me to post a request in the support group.

    I downloaded a dmg of CS3. I have my license loan number.

    I try to install it, and I get the error message:

    Setup error

    Setup has encountered an error and cannot continue. Contact Adobe customer service.

    But I can't communicate with them. Adobe support is going in circles. Now what?

    Maybe CS3 does not work on OSX Mavericks.  It would help if they would just say.

    Some people have had some success, http://roaringapps.com/apps:table

    You must run the cleaner and then try and install, use the CC cleaning tool to solve the installation problems | CC, CS3 - CS6

  • Oracle Customer Service Incident location information.

    Hello

    I have a question about the CS_INCIDENTS_ALL_Bdatabase table, the INCIDENT_LOCATION_ID column can contain two types of values HZ_LOCATION_ID or HZ_PARTY_SITE_ID. The INCIDENT_LOCATION_TYPE column contains the info if the stored values is HZ_LOCATION_ID or HZ_PARTY_SITE_ID.

    I would like to know how the INCIDENT_LOCATION_TYPE column is filled or how the decision is made to store the HZ_PARTY_SITE_ID or the HZ_LOCATION_ID in the INCIDENT_LOCATION_ID column in the CS_INCIDENTS_ALL_Btable.

    Oracle EBS version is R12.1.1

    I tried to search in Metalink and crossed the Oracle Technical Reference Manual as well, but so far failed to find any related information. Any help information will be much appreciated.

    The decision to store the site of party id or location hz code depends on what type of incident address is selected in the SR. If the address of the Incident is an address of customer (third party site) then the incident id field will store the site of party id. If the address of the Incident is a freestanding location (address not tied to any client) then the location hz code is stored.

  • is there available in any oracle customer graphics as slq * more or pl/sql dev

    For example,.

    can we graph the result of an execution of query or not, if yes how.

    user13328581 wrote:

    can we graph the result of an execution of query or not, if yes how.

    Yes. But the graph must be made by a customer. So it depends on WHAT the customer support.

    SQL * more is a customer of type character (console). It can render graphics. Or HTML. So it is very limited options to display a chart. For example do a vertical histogram of wages as a percentage of the total amount of the company spend on wages:

    SQL> select ename, rpad('*',round( sal / sum(sal) over (partition by null) * 100),'*') as percentage from emp order by 2;

    ENAME      PERCENTAGE
    ---------- --------------------
    SMITH      ***
    JAMES      ***
    WARD       ****
    MARTIN     ****
    ADAMS      ****
    MILLER     ****
    TURNER     *****
    ALLEN      ******
    CLARK      ********
    SCOTT      **********
    BLAKE      **********
    JONES      **********
    FORD       **********
    KING       *****************

    14 rows selected.

    With HTML, this can be done using an HTML table and a single color (a few pixels) and image sizing of the image to render according to the percentage value to display.

    If a customer is a plugin based on Flash (like Anychart delivered with Oracle Apex), the output must be XML.

    If the customer is a spreadsheet (OpenOffice or MS Excel), it can be run directly from the SQL, populate an area of the workspace with the release, which triggers a graph for this region to be updated.

    So the question you're asking has Nothing to do with the languages SQL or PL/SQL themselves - but everything to do with WHAT the customer is, and FORMAT it expects the data to be displayed in.

    Basic knowledge of client-server standard.

  • SQLplus in Oracle customer

    Hello

    I tried to install a client of oracle 11g on linux. As I compared it files with the files when you install by using the oracle instant client, I see they are almost similar. Now I have installed and tried running sqlplus and it works.
    I read that simply place a tnsnames.ora file where the client files to connect to a database. I did it but when I tried to connect to a database that is included in the tnsnames.ora file, I get the following error:

  • Server 2008 r2 sp1 oracle customer 10.2.0.100

    We strive to set up a build server to connect to our 11g R1 working linux node 4 standard base RAC database.

    With the installation of the client 10.2.0.100 that we can communicate with .net, sqlplus and us applications are able to successfully tnsping.

    Problem is our VB6 oo4o application will not connect.
    Strange thing is on another Server 2008 r2, like we don't have this problem.

    I tried.
    opening perms on the C:\oracle folder and its children
    set TNS_ADMIN, ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_BASE environment variables and a few others in desperation
    I confirmed the registry settings
    I compared this Oracle c:\windows\assembly and GAC Policy.Oracle entries match between server problem and working server
    I confirmed that the tnsnames.ora file matches the version of servers work

    I've implemented the sqlnet.ora to collect more information, is most of the time not Digest by my brain, and I hope that someone can look at the results and point me in the right direction.

    Edit:
    I compared to inactive customers trace files, they are the same up until

    So, it seems that the client not working reads from tnsnames.ora?

    Debug you the application to CONFIRM that the "BCDAT" happened? If you pass null, then a connection to legacy will be attempted, and you'll get 12560. The sqlnet trace snippet you provided shows quite clearly that the application tries to connect via inheritance.

  • Oracle customer problem...

    Hi all
    I have two systems. Both are runnig Windows 2003 SP2. I installed Oracle 11g on a single system and Oracle 11g Client on another system. Now on the Oracle Client machine when I give a name of user and password, say, scott/tiger it gives the error: -.

    SQL * more: version 11.1.0.7.0 - Production on Tue May 19 17:56:48 2009

    Enter the user name: System
    Enter the password:
    ERROR:
    ORA-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error

    How to solve this problem? Help, please.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Seems that you do not have a valid entry in your tnsnames.ora to the oracle database. Save a copy and all delete and add followign entered in your tnsnames.ora on the client machine.

    # replace db server either db hostname or ip address> and make sure you can ping db server from client machine.
    ORCL =
      (DESCRIPTION =

          (SERVER = dedicated)
          (SERVICE_NAME = orcl)
        )
      )

    Concerning

  • Setup error ODAC 12 c R4 client on the same machine with Oracle 11 g 64 bit for Windows database

    I have Oracle objects and mobile application development with:

    Windows 7 64-bit OS

    Base Oracle = C:\ORA

    Database Oracle 11 g 64-bit 201, home = C:\ORA\DB11G201

    I was running in Visual Studio 2010 and the ODAC customer Oracle 32-bit in another home = C:\ORA\DB11G201CLIENT32

    All was well for a few years on that set up.

    I decided to upgrade to Visual Studio 2013 and .NET 4.5

    Deletion of Visual Studio 2010 and installed Visual Studio 2013.

    I did a normal uninstall of the Oracle 11 g 32-bit client using the rebooted, Oracle Universal Installer.

    The customer old house was gone.

    I downloaded the ODP.NET12C 32-bit Oracle with VS tools R4 and began the installation of the client.

    I selected English and built-in OS account

    I chose Oracle base = C:\ORA

    I chose hone Oracle = C:\ORA\DB12CR4CIENT32

    But I encounter the error:

    [INS-32104] User Oracle Home specified is not the owner of the Oracle Base specified.

    The owner of C:\ORA's ADMINISTRATORS.

    When should I do?

    For guests of 12 c, opened a NEW BASE and a NEW HOUSE?

    Created an ACCOUNT to STANDARD USER and the select statement, but keep c:\ORA and the new C:\ORA\DB12CR4CIENT32 of the House?

    I'm a hold out for migration to Oracle 12 c database because they thrown into the very useful tool Oracle Database Control and replaced by something watered down.

    So I like to keep the Oracle 11 g 64-bit database.

    but Visual Studio 2013 support, use the 12 c R4 32-bit and 64-bit support drivers unmanaged.

    I would use (and use) Managed drivers, but they do not work in database 11g FIPS-140 active environments.

    Thank you for your help and comments.

    Hello

    This is expected because you install 12 c in Base Oracle who has home 11g.

    From 12 c, the installation program has promoted "Oracle Home User' where you can perform the installation with built-in admin user or a secure non-admin user.

    As documented at https://docs.oracle.com/database/121/NTCLI/install.htm#NTCLI1283

    "Oracle 12 c Release 1 (12,1) database client may not share basic Oracle with houses of the Oracle database versions, such as Oracle Database 11 g Release 2 (11.2) and sooner."

    Please see the information listed in the link above for more information.

    Bascially, you need to install in a different Oracle Base and can have all this work.

    Kind regards.

  • Update of CRMI against COE Oracle 10 G server fails with the error message Invalid Date of creation

    I have an application that performs an update of a piece of content via CRMI. The element is specified viaA content ID. Since UPDATE_DOCINFO is the service DOC_INFO needs service is executed first to get it.

    DOC_INFO returns information very well. However, when UPDATE_DOCINFO is executed, it always seems to return an error message stating that creation Date is not valid. The element content updates without this error via the Native Web INTERFACE. My code works when pointed at an Oracle 11 G Server COE.

    I tried:

    1. Adding did so to a new DataBinder, without dCreateDate
    2. Adding did so to a new DataBinder, with dCreateDate
      • Add dCreateDate as a date object (from DOC_INFO response I've tried)
        • through thegetDate()
        • manual conversion with DataObjectEncodingUtils.decodeDate() (w / get() )
      • Add a string
        • convert with SimpleDateFormatter similar to how RIDC encodes (w / getDate() )
        • manual conversion with DataObjectEncodingUtils.encodeDate() (w / getDate() )
        • as «»
        • as null
        • get()Instead ofgetDate()
    3. Directly using DOC_INFOresponse Binder
    4. With the help of the library of CRMI 11 G (3 above) 5 using the RIDC 10 G (1-3 above) library

    All listed approaches have returned the same error message.

    Here's the method I use for the update. The commented code is the thing I've tried that does not resolve the issue.

    ServiceResponse response = client.sendRequest (context, updatebinder);

    log.info ("Found: (updated) \n" ")

    + response.getResponseAsBinder () m:System.NET.SocketAddress.ToString ());

    return response;

            }

    catch (Cie IdcClientException)

            {

    log.error ("Error updating the Document", sea ice);

    //throw new RuntimeException ("Error updating the Document", sea ice);

    //throw new RuntimeException ("error updating the Document-" + ice.getMessage (), ice);

    throw RuntimeException (ice.getMessage () new, ice);

            }

    //something gone wrong

    //return null;

    }

    I could solve the problem.

    The answer is proven be setting the parameter UserDateFormat on the RIDC Binder that I used to make the update request.

    Then I got just to make sure that all of my dates been serialized using this same format.

    I had Oracle database 12 initially. I was not aware that Oracle Service registry currently supports 10g or 11g database. So, I uninstalled the 12 database and installed 11g. Then installed the Service registry and the fixed number.
