On-The-Go (OTG) on B1-730HD?

I have an Iconia One 7 (B1-730HD) tablet running 4.4.2 KitKat. All software are up to date. I'm putting a card microSDHC slot microUSB using a USB card reader and a USB port to the microUSB adapter. The card will not rise with the Tablet indicating that the removable media is 'damaged '. The notification indicates the microSDHC card formatting, but the tablet will not format. I formatted the card microSDHC on Windows Vista using SDFormatter 4.0. I ran chkdsk on Windows without error.

Acer told me that the Tablet does not support OTG. They do not recommend a solution consisting in the rooting of the tablet. So I think that there could be a solution.

I did a job using the applications downloaded from the Google game to determine if the Tablet supports the OTG. Here are the results.

USB OTG Checker has reported the following when "check terminal OS on USB OTG ' has been exploited. "Your OS device has USB OTG API! You can try to go to to check the USB OTG kernel or the pilot Signal. »

"Check USB OTG Signal" reported "System NOT detect USB OTG Signal".

USB Host Diagnostics reported:

OTG Troubshooter reported:

USB Host support Yes

OTG detected Yes

Detected in Android device USB mass storage

Everything is OK

Your USB device should be compatible with 'Nexus Media importing' and 'Photo Nexus'.

So here's the diagnostics. Can anyone confirm that USB OTG Checker, USB Host Diagnostics and Troubshooter OTG is accurate? The tablet doesn't recognize that the storage has been connected. Maybe another type of removable storage would work. Can someone a link to the instructions to enable the OTG support?

USB OTG may have some problems with card reader, if she asks more tension as the taken OTG supported.

If you card reader is a multi player card it does not, try to use a USB flash drive.

  • Problem with OTG USB Flash Drive - Lenovo a7000

    Hello
I recently baught a Lenovo A7000 and it's great. I've set my default storage in the form of SD card and many applications are installed on the same, but the problem I am facing is when I connect to the USB OTG flash drive (it works fine). When I take it apart all the applications on my SD card are not visible on the home screen. However, girls are on the only sd card, but the just icons are not displayed. Whenever I connect OTG all apps are visible again after removing the OTG same problem each time.
Please help me solve this problem. I want my apps to install to sd card, but not on the drive Flash OTG.
What should I do? Thanks in advance

Well, the problem is solved only when restart us the machine, but it's still
not convenient to reboot each time that you insert an OTG. He really needs a
    Difficulty again.

  • USB OTG cable adapter

The Sony Xperia Z1C does support USB OTG cable adapter?

You can use an OTG adapter, as well as the phone but the phone will be able to act as a host device.

The difference is that devices that support the USB OTG standard can, in some cases, take turns acting as host and slave when linked together. This allows the two devices to read each other system files. A device that only supports the standard of the host may act as host.

Connect a USB to your phone with the help of an adapter OTG is something you can do, Yes. Another example would be that you can connect a mouse or a keyboard and use it with the phone.

  • Still 2 - encryption boot problem

I encrypted my still 2 8 "with the program called"Diskcryptor', only the C: partition, but not the 'copy of windows"(or something like that) partition.

Normally on my desk there is a 'beep' then my motherboard/BIOS map screen, then it asks me the password, but the yet 2 he did not instead there just starts starting this toshiba and said that something is wrong. (of course software toshiba can't access the windows partition because it is not mounted)

I have been troubleshooting after this long toshiba repair the thing, there are a lot of things that I try.
I wanted to just plug in the usb to my pc when I installed the diskcryptor program and he should be able to be mounted as my flashdrives do, but my pc do not at all see the yet!
(Plus possibly the reminder cannot use usb, maybe the usb driver is not loaded)

There is also a cmd with I think should help me somehow, diskcryptor have some commands to decipher and that but it does not recognize the command.

I also try to activate usb with cmd, but it does not work either.
I think I must jump boot toshiba with this repair and what prevents me to enter the password.

    Help!

    Hello

The 3rd tool third called Diskcryptor isn't known to me and I'm not quite sure how this tool would affect the start of partition encrypted C procedure but according to the site Web of the program, the tool supports the own bootloader and its necessary to insert a password (authentication pre-seed) in order to boot the OS from m.

In all cases of doubt regarding the use of this software, I recommend you to check the description of the software and the recommendations of use available on the site for manufacturer of software.

With regard to the Encore 2 USB functionality:
The Encore 2 acts as a host through the micro-USB port. This means that the tablet can communicate with other devices s USB client as USB flash key, mouse or keyboard.

To do this, you must use a cable adapter USB On-The-Go (OTG).

  • Audio USB device not recognized by flow 7 Tablet PC

Half the reason I bought the 7 flow was to use it has a music player with my D2 USB Audio DAC Headdphone Amp iBaso.

The device is recognnized by my Office Win 8.1 and all other computers, I plugged in.  Why it is not recognized as an audio playback device is beyond me.  I tried all of the suggestions that I could find on the net without a bit of luck.  Is therte a reason why this feature has been disabled on the 7 Strwea?

    Problem solved!

It turned out to be a combination of the usb cable and the USB OTG hub.  The iBaso has been specific cable on the device being recognized on my desk.  When I tried the work cable witht the OTG hub on the 7 of flow is not as usual.  But when I tried the market good adapter monoprice it worked.

Audio usb solves the problem of horrible noise with the jet 7 lookiing for a fix for anyone.

The OTG hub works with a mouse and a player mSata perfectly, but not with the iBAso CAD.

  • Compact Xperia Z5, should I feed him some MARSHMALLOW?

Hello! It's been so long since my Xperia P had stolen and my Xperia S had hard bricked

By this month, I have my savings to buy my favorite again Xperia phones

Since I use the iPhone and currently one abandoned Nokia Lumia 520

    Be the subject

I visit my close Mobile of Sony Centre which they say (the sale man) they will sell, or if I buy a compact Xperia Z5.

    I get the phone out of the box with the Lollipop version and they do not recommend update me Marshmallow yet;

Read the forums here makes me conclude that the marshmallow is really buggy, even the camera

and again, I ask, should I really upgrade to 6.0? or wait a Marshmallow stabilized?

and one thing, since I do not have the budget to buy the Z5 Normal, should I wait and buy the Xperia X instead?

not the Xperia X Performance, cuase Yes, I can't even afford to buy a Normal Z5.

My compact z5 works best with Marshmallow with Lollipop, in General. It has one big flaw with FM radio, but it is not widespread among all phones so, I guess, it's more like a lottery. In any case, it should be fixed in the next updates.

My camera works fine, so too is the battery life, and I have no problem with the USB OTG (which is another general complaint).

His helmet is much better with Z3c in Z5c, although that too is good in the latter.

Fingerprints is a little clumsy: to give you an idea of my iPad never miss a shot, while Z5c works once on four about.

WiFi and broadcast signals are generally strong.

I did the lollipop to the upgrade via the bridge for Mac first Marshmallow with a memory setting to level + wiping and then through repair to be sure of having no remains of the previous operating system level. Sometimes I do a cleaning of the cache and cache partition of wiping.

Xperia X does not radio Fm and no 4K to record video, if you are in these things, it is not appropriate you needs. If you are running on budget Z3 compact is a great device yet.

  • Reference Dell place 8 Android + peripheral

    Hello!

I would like to know if BT-keyboards can be connected to the gadget. Also I'm interested if this device allows to identify external hard drives are connected via USB OTG (with the external energy source, of course). Maybe wired keyboards can also be connected to 8 place Dell via USB OTG? Please, share your experience. Thanks in advance.

Success! I bought the USB - OTG cable and connected an external HARD drive to the gadget via it - with interfaces USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 as well as with external and internal energy sources. They worked with Total Commander and Paragon plugin for download for free from the Google set. I suppose that a peripheral keyboard will work also. Great device!

  • Adding DVD to Dell coming 8 Pro software programs

Is it possible to add a software I have on DVD to a coming 8 Pro?

Well, it depends on the particular DVD player, and you raised still another possibility to ensure that portable DVD player gets the power it needs to run.  (I'm not sure if your opportunity would work, however, as the laptop and the Tablet might think they have 'ownership' of the DVD player, and that could cause a conflict.)

If the portable DVD Player connects directly to an electrical outlet (I have a large DVD player, old people do that), it will have all the power it needs and then you just plug the USB cable from the DVD player into a USB OTG cable adapter, connected to the tablet.

If the DVD is powered by the USB connection (like many modern slim portable DVD players), it is possible that the tablet can provide enough power to run the DVD player directly (still once, plug the USB cable of the drive in a USB OTG cable adapter connected to the Tablet).  But if the DVD player does not receive enough power in this way (mine does not), which goes back to my original idea, you would plug its USB cable to a USB hub powered (that itself is related to the sector, which player will equip the DVD), and then the USB cable between the USB hub to the USB OTG cable adapter attached to the tablet.  Or you can try to use the power of Dell + dongle data mentioned above and see if the DVD gets enough power to be run this way--that worked for me.

DVD player portable sample, which uses the power of USB (Note: there are many out there): http://www.amazon.com/Rewriteable-Mini-Note-2133-KX870AT-2133-KX868AT-USB/dp/B003AVGN5M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8 & qid = 1412909408 & sr = 8-1 & keywords = hp + laptop + dvd + drive is the one I have (I bought an open-box mixed unit for sale): http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BI4BRNQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8 & psc = 1

A powered USB hub sample (Note: there are many out there; the image of it does not show the power adapter to the USB hub, but there is one, from the description and comments): http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Powered-Ultra-Slim-4-Port-F4U040v/dp/B005A0B3FG/ref=sr_1_22?s=pc & ie = UTF8 & qid = 1412909860 & sr = 1-22 & keywords = powered + usb + hub and here are the hub powered I (also bought on sale locally) : http://www.amazon.com/SIIG-10-PORT-100-240-Features-Loading/dp/B005AB67S8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8 & qid = 1412912950 & sr = 8-4 & keywords = siig + 10 - port + hub

The data + power supply Dell dongle from Dell:

And a USB OTG cable adapter, Dell (again, they are many out there): http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A7223619

(If Dell links don't work no, just do a search on the terms in the Dell store).

Personally, I like the idea (if a DVD player power need "help") to use the data + power supply Dell dongle - it worked for me and others have reported the same.  This is a simple installation, and then you have the dongle for other uses as well.  But you should see if your DVD player gets enough power in this way.

    Hope this helps-

  • Reference Dell Venus 8 Pro 32 GB

Was about to order a. But I read nothing about printing. I have a HP printer. They can play together, and if so, what cables do I need?

Essentially, it's like with any Windows PC: print wireless if your printer supports that, or via the USB port, once that you have cable USB OTG (on-the-go). The USB OTG cable is the cable you need to connect wired devices to the DV8P (and in my opinion accordingly, should be included with the purchase of the Tablet).
