  On the folders on my computer I like a size of specific icons since I bought my computer 2 years ago, I was able to change the size of the icons of files and it stayed like that.  Now if I change the size of icons it will stay like that until I close the file and reopen it.  Whenever I have open and close a file, it causes the size of the icons for items in the default folder for the "details".  This happened recently, after I installed updates to windows.  These updates were important and I don't want to uninstall it, just to get my favorite file size.  Does anyone know how to prevent the default of payment of a certain size icons?

• JDE project resources files icon loses the png files

  Hello. The strangest thing - I was change the icon files (I have many) for my application and when I try to add files to png icons in the tab "resources" of the properties of the project, I add a png file and click OK, then go back and he's not here.   Found the problem. If you delete a png file a project then re add the file, you must check the use as the application icon. Oddity...

  Some time before, I created some buttons in JavaScript and then specified the names of files for their icons.  Now, when I go back to the properties of the button for these buttons dialog box, specifically the Options tab, it doesn't tell me the names of the files that I specified originally for the icons.  The 'Label' field is empty.  It would be really useful if the ' Label: ' field would specify, by default, the file name of the CURRENT icon associated with the button I look.

  The button Properties dialog box is displayed a very small image of the icon in the "icon:" box, but this image is not enough for me to understand the name of the original file of the icon.

  If I click on "select icon...". ", it seems to show the last file icon I selected (which is of no help), not the file name of the icon which I am looking at properties.

  Is there some way look at the properties of a button and determine what the icon file was associated with the key?  Once again, the small picture in the "icon:" box is of no help.

  The file name is not stored in the PDF file, only the icon.

  I need to add a custom in my Authorware .exe file icon. It has been long since I did that, but I did it in an old project of AW. According to the .inf for this project file, all I have to do is specify the name of the icon in the icon = filename.ico line and include the icon file in the folder of the deliverable. I thought I'd also do something in AW before packing of the piece, but I can't find any of this info in my book or the help file. When I package now the piece, I do not get any icon, not even the default AW icon. Could you get it someone please let me know if I am missing a step or two? In addition, please let me know if you need more information.

  Just see your last answer now. Thank you! I think that my problem was that I was testing the compiled version straight out of my final and not copied construction on a CD-ROM file (as I said, makes for a long time that I did...).

  Hi, do someone know how to change the icon of the application of the project, we have created in the JDE? I searched the forum, and suggestions should go to the project properties, go to the "resources" tab and add the icon file. I have also included the file icon (PNG 68x68pixel) to the project.

  Here's how to put the icon in BlackBerry JDE.

  1. Add the image to your project.
  2. Right-click on the image and choose Properties.
  3. Check "use as icon for the Application.
  4. Rebuild the application.

  change drive icons for your i - pod in my computer are manually as follows: -.

  1. go to your iPod Player (for example say - f:\, where f is the iPod drive letter).
  2. Select your icon & put it on your iPod as i drive - pod.ico (i.e. - in f:\).
  3. open the Notepad and type as follows:
  [AutoRun]
  ICON = i - pod.ico
  4. close Notepad & save the file autorun.inf in drive i - pod (c.-a-d.-f:\).
  5. remove your iPod player & connect it again to your computer.

  n.b.-1. here is the name of the icon file that you use as the icon of the drive disc. "i - pod.ico". You can change the name of the file, but you need to change in the autorun.inf file "ICON = i - pod.ico" section.

• Slow movement of the icons of file

  I just upgraded to Sierra and discovered that move file icons became very slow.   Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.  I see your message that you met some slowness during the management of files on your MacBook Pro, since you upgraded to macOS Sierra.  I know that personally, I want to be able to move, copy, and back up things quickly, without a lot of spinning Rainbow cursor to run, so I can see why you've posted.  I'd be happy to help you.

  When my MacBook behaving this way, I found a System Management Controller (SMC) reset helped.  If you are not familiar with how to do this reset, see the following link:
  Reset the management system (SCM) controller on your Mac.

  If you always see the same behavior after this reset, then start in safe mode can tell you if a program or process could be the cause of the delay.  Follow the instructions here and test your functions copy/move while that started in safe mode: macOS Sierra: start in safe mode

  If your MacBook Pro works fine in safe mode, reboot normally and check to see if the problem has been resolved.

  If you create a new folder with the Finder, there is no hierarchy, you get a single empty, empty folder icon, if you create a new folder in the Terminal with the following syntax blue, there is hierarchy.

  # Do the new folder has with B folder it contains. And C in B and D in C files.

  $ mkdir Pei A, B, C, D

  # Just make folder a.

  $ mkdir A

  Are you using a utility Finder replacement, or creating folders from an application or a script?

  I guess you mean keep the Firefox shortcut on the taskbar and Start Menu, and it's just the icon that looks like a generic Windows icon. If so, clear the cache of your icon:

  Press Alt V T M (CTRL + V T M on Mac) on your keyboard. This should restore the menu bar (Firefox 3.6)

  Try to restore the default value set by going to display. Toolbars | Customize | Restore the default set. This will put the toolbars in the default slot

  Safe mode

  You may need to reset toolbars and controls through Firefox in Safe Mode troubleshooting questions
  Make sure that completely close Firefox first. When you get to the Safe Mode window, select controls and then make changes and restart and reset toolbars.
