• This is the 1935 error once again, the installation of Norton Ghost Windows 7 64 bit

  Hi, I say 'yet' because it's a frequently asked question, unfortunately with no viable solutions.

  I installed Norton Ghost 15 on this machine 3 years ago. No problems. Today, when you pull up the ghost, she suddenly want to run the MSI installer for some reason any and then complains about something. Unfortunately I got a copy of the error. I just uninstalled completely, using the Symantec removal tool.

  When you try to install Norton Ghost again, I get this:

  

  I unchecked .net framework 3.5 in Windows features, rebooted, checked again and rebooted. I installed Microsoft C++ 2005 and 2008 Redistributable. This I did because another post suggested to do this.

  I also activated the journal feature detailed in the Windows installation program and get a huge file full of data, which tell me what I can use. Yes, something went wrong shot, but in this (these) file (s) there is no special section that stands out in a way that tells me that what in fact was wrong.

  Now, is say, not possible to obtain information in plain language? Saying that the Assembly is absent, this file is missing and so on. Because obviously something is not here that should be there, who were 3 years ago, when Norton Ghost installation went flawless.

  Or is it something else? "An error occurred during the installation of assembly component", which component? And what is normally the cause of this problem, which will normally not when an assembly component cannot be installed?

  
  My question basically goes like this:

  How can I know what is the real error? Assembly that is missing, have what is missing? The blind approach isn't trying for me, there must be a scientific way of this approach!

  OK, I found the solution:

  Error 1935 resolved

  Big - just install Ghost until the error message. Do NOT click OK, instead, use task or much better, Manager procedure such as SysInternals Monitor to kill all processes of msi windows installer and everything that has nothing to do with Norton.

  Ghost 15 is now installed and you can register and use it.

  Problem is, there is a current cancellation, who will run the next time you want to install (all) application.

  Delete these registry keys:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\InProgress

  and

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\InProgress\Rollback

  Now, everything should be good, at least it looks so here!

  I had no right to the "CS5ServiceManager" folder in my user library.
  Fixed the rights in all subfolders.

  Your original (from Yosemite) backups for the past two years are still on your time capsule to the sparsebundle disk image.  You have done a clean install of OS X El Capitan and retrieved the data and the settings you wanted from your Time Machine backup.  What you need to do is then open Time Machine preferences and choose "select disk" - and re - select your Time Capsule.  A new backup will start (and it will be a full backup) - but it will not overwrite your original historical backups of Yosemite - they will remain separate within the sparsebundle.  A quick glance-, it may seem like they are gone - but Time Machine will show you only the backups for the latest version of Mac OS X by default.  You can 'Browse other backup disks' hold down the option key when you click the Time Machine icon in the menu bar.  If you need to restore your whole machine to Yosemite or to a point before installing El Capitan - the "Time Machine backup restore" option in the recovery partition will allow you to review and select the old backups of Yosemite.

  To "do" to ensure that your time capsule is not running out of space.  If space is low - there is a risk of Time Machine, remove older backups.

  If you believe that there is a lack of disk space on the time capsule - another option would be to create a new folder in the root of the time Capsule and name it "old backups.  Drag the sparsebundle existing in the new folder.  The move operation must be almost instantaneous.  Time Machine will no longer see the sparsebundle and will not attempt to clean or to crush it.  When the next backup run - it will create a new image of sparsebundle containing a full backup to the root of the time Capsule.  You can always restore (if necessary) of the sparsebundle you have hidden in the folder "old backups.

  A third option (if disk space is very limited) would be to move the sparsebundle existing in the folder "Old backups" and allow Time Machine to create a new sparsebundle.  At the same time - you can copy the old sparsebundle to another drive somewhere - and then delete it from the time Capsule to free up space.

  Battery not charging is a hardware problem. Windows will not charge the battery.

  As your laptop is new, I would say that you either contact the Asus support or take over the laptop in the store, he bought at and ask them to take a look. The store will no doubt facilities to check the connection of the battery for the defects.

• Once again the model regions

  I created a template to work on our new site I'm developing and using CSS for a stronger than our current site.
  
  I have two editable regions, one of 'content', I'm having a problem with. Two optional regions called 'css' and 'w3c' that work great.
  
  When I apply the model to a page and line up the "incompatible" regions to get the text of the page based on my "content" region It works; but the content is flush with the border of the left hand rather than use my 'content' CSS rule to apply a sufficient margin so that the text is 'in' page.
  
  Incorrect page can be seen here.
  
  The only way I can get the content to sit within the content (with margins applied) by creating a page "empty" based on the model and copy the text into the "Div".
  
  Any help would be appreciated, thanks
